WHERE DO YOU GET INSPIRATION
Well, gurls, my butt is dragging my tracks. I am so tired that I am barely moving. But, it was a good visit with the kidney doctor and I so glad that we went. The doctor basically told Kayla that Beckham has two normal kidneys but that they are joined at the bottom by extra membrane or skin. They function and act like two separate kidneys which was a huge relief. I thought that because they were joined that it meant that there was one huge kidney and I was worried if he got hurt or injured that he wouldn’t have a second kidney.
It was such a relief to know that everything is going to be alright. They will still monitor him and make sure that nothing else arises. Emersyn had a blast staying in the “ho tail.” My goodness, she has really developed a southern twang lately. She was so thrilled that she was jumping around and acting crazy all night long. Once it came time to check out this morning she had a small breakdown. She whined, cried, snuffled, and was just a nightmare for about 30 minutes. She wanted to go back and stay at the “ho tail” again. I think she was just really tired because she finally fell asleep and ended up sleeping for a couple of hours. After that, she was happy as a lark but still wanted to go back again. We have got to start taking her more places. Lol! She is deprived. Hahaha!
I love hot pink/fuschia and black together. I bought this scarf simply because it had those colors together. At least once or twice in the winter months I will wear this combination so this morning when I saw the scarf I knew immediately what I wanted to wear. I love how accessories such as this scarf can inspire an outfit. If you don’t own a lot of scarves then you can look on Etsy or Pinterest and draw inspiration from some that are pictured on those sites. I am not sure when or where I bought this scarf but I love how bright and colorful it is but then it has the black streak running through it.
The Tony necklace is an antiqued very ornate cross in pale pink. The crystals on the chain are also a very pale pink but it is hard to tell from the photo. This is a really long necklace (here) so I have it doubled today for a shorter look. Since the scarf was long I wanted my necklace to be short. On Black Friday, Plunder had the matching bracelet and earrings as a special. I am hoping that they will bring them back in the spring and summer catalog. I really love both of those items and I know you gurls would also.
Everything else in my outfit is just basics. A basic black cardigan, (in the longer style) and a pair of black pixie ankle pants is what I am wearing. I am sure that almost every one of you could go in your closet and pull out similar items. Once you have basic items then you can start supplementing with interesting and detail items. The hot pink/fuschia sweater is sleeveless and I will be able to wear this top all year long. Make sure you can think of two or three different ways you can wear something when you get ready to make a purchase. That gets you more bang for your buck.
Today I was looking back for a photo and I am still just taken back when I see how much my skin has changed. The wild thing is that these products work for all ages. I have had some ladies message me and ask if they work for women in their 60’s, 70′, or 80’s. YES! If you have skin then these products can work for you. Then I had someone ask me about someone who was younger. I had a lady mention that her teenage daughter was experiencing hormonal acne and wondering if the products would work for her. YES! My daughter shared her 1-year results the other day and I was pretty shocked at the results. I knew the products would work for her but I wasn’t sure if she would actually use them. I laugh and say they don’t work if they stay in the bottle. Anyway, she said that I could show you gurls her results.

A fuchsia scarf with a thin line of black –now that is a fashion must have. Happy to hear the good news about your grandson. The two accents I can listen to all day long is from any state in the South and anyone who is from Australia.

You talking about Emersyn’s twang reminded me of our daughter, Sydney. We lived in Mobile, AL for 4 years. Syd was 13 months old when we moved there, so that’s where she learned to speak. I put her in preschool at our church, an older, traditional Methodist church downtown. That baby girl turned fo’ (four), we’d go to the sto’ (store), she’d walk across the flo’ (floor) to go out the do’ (door)! It was hilarious!!! Now, I know we have a twang in Texas, but anyone from the South can tell the difference between an Alabama accent and a Texas accent. That girl was Alabama through and through.
What a relief that Beckham had a good report. I have a granddaughter that has a heart condition and it can be scary. Maddie (Madeline) has a hole in her heart and may have to eventually have heart surgery, but for now, she is keeping her own and getting through life just fine. She sees her cardiologist once a year now. Sounds funny saying a 6 yr old has a cardiologist, but I sure am thankful that she does. Thank God for these great Doctors and most of all, thank you to the Great Physician!
Awwwwww, good morning! SO, SO, SO relieved that your little man is going to be A-Okay! Just goes to show you NOT to read anything on the internet about health issues! I’m still going to remain prayerful. My bible study group is praying for Beckham, too. ??
