WHAT TO WEAR IN THE FALL
This week is flying by, I can’t believe it is already Thursday. I haven’t even finished unpacking from my last trip, and I need to pack again. It is this way every year, October and November are my busy months. My grandbabies have a combined birthday party every year since their birthdays are very close together. My oldest grandchild, Matti, was born right before Halloween, so the party is always a mixture of birthday and Halloween.
I am not the best at dressing up, but some of the people who attend are pros. I have gone as a pirate, a witch, a biker chick, and that is all I can remember. I know there has been more, but the mind is not working to good tonight. Some of my favorite costumes that have been there were Popeye and Olive Oyl, Cruella Deville and her dalmatians, and the Flintstones. I love it when a whole family dresses up in a theme.
Fall is a fantastic time of year. The leaves are really starting to change in the mountains now and the air is just a tiny bit chilly in the mornings. This vest is the perfect light-weight addition to keeping the chill off. I have the typical army green colored jacket, but the light cream color of this vest really grabbed my attention. VK Sports contacted me about doing a collaboration and when I looked at their shop, I loved their golfing attire. I haven’t been playing much golf because it is getting dark too early, so I told them that I would just wait till spring and do something then. They suggested a long sleeve shirt or a vest, so I took another look and loved this vest.
I liked the higher neck for keeping me warm and I always look for pockets. I have no idea why, I hardly ever put anything in the pockets, not even my hands, but I “want” pockets. Lol! The same holds true with a zipper, I hardly ever zip a vest or jacket, but I “want” to be able to.
I also just received these boots courtesy of Rialto shoes right before I went to Las Vegas, and I knew they would be perfect with this look. As I was walking into my closet I had a vision of what the outfit would look like in my mind. These boots are called the Coras Tobacco Boot and they also come in black. I like the 3/4 length of this boot. It is not a bootie and it is not a knee boot, it is somewhere in between.
You can see the buckle details and the inside zipper from this angle. The heel is a comfortable height, probably a 3 inch. These are also now on sale, plus there is a code for a site wide 22% off, (EXPLORE22) and free shipping. WOW! That is a great deal!!!
I wanted to show the high-low hem on this vest. This is the high-low hem I like. It is just a tiny bit of variation, not the hang down to the back of your knees variety that some of the clothing is doing. Haha This is just enough to cover your tush and have a polished look.
These jeans are by Old Navy. They are the mid-rise rockstar skinny jean in tall. I bought them last year and wasn’t sure I would like the longer length, but because they are longer I can make a nice large cuff. I have these rolled up twice in about a 3-inch cuff.
This plaid shirt is a hand-me-up from my daughter. Plaid is still really big this year and I prefer more feminine colors. This one is pink, blue, and cream and maybe a couple other colors.
Be sure to check our VK Sports and Rialto Shoes. Tell them Tania sent you. Lol!
Thanks to you gurls who let me know that you have received you Rodan and Fields samples. I was not sure they would make it through the mail. Lol! I sent out a mini facial sample kit which included a microdermabrasion packet, an overnight restorative serum packet, and a lip serum packet. For those that have sensitive skin, you should not use the microdermabrasion packet on your face. I use mine on my arms. I have skin that looks like the Sahara Desert, with cracks and bumps. I have started using 1/2 a pack each night on my arms, and I can tell a difference in the bumps. This is called Keratosis Pialris, and it is little raised hard bumps. I don’t like them and would like to get rid of them. I am going to order the microdermabrasion paste in the jar and put it in the shower. I will wash my arms and legs with the paste and then just wash off. I am crossing my fingers for good results.
Rodan and Fields are no longer just a company that sells in the United States. They have branched out into Canada and have announced plans to launch into Australia next. If you are in Canada you can already signup as a consultant, and beginning in December those in Australia will have the chance. If you are in either of these countries, please email me if you would be interested in learning about the huge opportunity for you. If you have friends or relatives in either of these countries, tell them to get in touch with me. One of the cool things about ordering your products as a preferred customer (PC) is that you get free shipping and handling, along with a 10% discount on orders over 80.00. This includes Cananda, and you all know how expensive the shipping can be there. Be sure to take advantage of this opportunity.

AWESOME look today. I love the colors on you, brighten up your beautiful face even more.
That is so sweet, Cindee?
Just how cute can you be today?? I love this outfit on you. Now I’m going to have to go shopping for a vest. I’ve never been a big fan of a plaid shirt but I think I need one of those too!! Ha ha my Visa card thanks you gurl!?
My Visa card understands, Mindy. It is all worn out too. Lol!
Great fall outfit—I’m a sucker for vests because I love a topper piece, yet I don’t always need something super heavy yet!!

Love this outfit! I’m trying hard to drop some weight so I can tuck in a shirt lol! By the way, microdermabrasion does not usually help KP, but coconut oil will work miracles. I had them on along both my arms and on my leg just above my ankles and they were getting worse. I do not have any now. I just put coconut oil on in the morning and night.
well now i have to look to see what “kp” is! it’s too early in the morning for me to figure it out, i can only think of the military term which mean kitchen duty LOL, i also love the outfit!
I tried coconut oil and it didn’t help me at all. I think that is the difference in skin types. The philosophy lotion helped to an extent but wouldn’t go any further. I have only used the microdermabrasion paste only about 4 or 5 times and my skin is much smoother. I am hopeful.
Loving your red bag Tania! I know what you mean about packing and unpacking – not to mention messy offices – eek.
How lovely though to have grand baby birthday parties!!!

Nothing says fall like plaid and your whole look is just fab. That vest is the perfect completer. Mid shaft boots are a personal favorite of mine and I think they are more flattering than booties. Awesome style.

Great boots! And the way you wear your jeans is very nice! I really wished we would celebrate Halloween also here.
