WHAT SHOULD I WEAR FOR EASTER

It sure feels good to be back home. I kind of feel like Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz, “there is no place like home.” Los Cabo was beautiful, and we had a wonderful time, but I need to get back to a regular schedule. This trip we decided to concentrate on relaxing and enjoying ourselves, instead of worrying if we got the perfect photo. I saw so many of the ladies who spent the entire time having their husbands take a picture of them enjoying themselves, that I don’t think that they got to enjoy themselves. Lol!
I have to tell you that Joe had to have bought the most expensive box of baking soda, ever! He has issues with heartburn when he eats bread or sweets. Even though he knows that if he eats any of that, he will pay later, he can’t help himself. One afternoon the heartburn was driving him crazy, and he went to see if he could find any baking soda in the gift shop. Nope, they didn’t have any, and the concierge told him that he would have to take a taxi into town to go to a pharmacy. The taxi driver charged 25.00 each way, and he gave him a 10.00 tip, for a total of 60.00 to drive about 5 miles. The box of baking soda only cost a little over 2.00, but with the taxi trip, the box cost a grand total of 62.00+ dollars! He said that it was worth every penny!!! Lol!
I didn’t mean to post this adorable yellow print dress this soon. But, I got afraid that because the dress is so cute, that it might sell out on the website. Also, I wanted to show you that I have not abandoned my love of color since I have been styling so much black and white lately. Lol! When I walked into the kitchen to find me a pair of shoes to wear with this dress, Joe gave me a wolf whistle. I told him that I was thinking about sending the dress back, just to see what he would say. “Absolutely not” was his response, that looks fantastic on you! So, this is more than likely going to be my Easter dress this year. The print of this dress is so spring-like and the bright yellow color reminds me of a baby chick. I loved the neckline of the dress, and I wanted to highlight that by wearing my Stormy necklace. The necklace sits in the perfect spot to draw your eye to the neckline, and the little gold monogrammed disc is small which keeps with the dainty print of the dress. However, my LARGE yellow earrings are nowhere near dainty. Lol! I purchased these earrings at a local boutique, but here are some similar ones.

I know that you have seen me wear these yellow espadrilles by Michael Kors over and over and over again. I never thought that I would be able to wear yellow shoes so often. These seem to go with everything all spring and summer, so I highly recommend that you get yourself a pair. Because I have owned my pair for so long, they are not available for purchase any longer, but here are a few that I found and thought that you might like.

I think that the orchid colored cardigan from J. Crew complements this dress. The color in the cardigan matches one of the colors in the print, but you could easily wear blue, white, or even a green cardigan with the dress. The orchid color is a color that looks good with my skin tone, but you can wear what looks good for you.
