I am not sure what got into me, but I decided Friday morning that I would rearrange my bedroom. It was becoming so cluttered that I couldn’t find anything once I put it down. We had a couch and a chair in the bedroom, but it was only being used for a place for me to put the bags and bags of clothes that I still had to try on. I enlisted some help from my friend Brenda, and we set about cleaning and decluttering.

I looked out of my bedroom window and noticed that my son was pulling out of his driveway. So, I quickly grabbed the phone and called him. Once he answered, I said, “Hey, can you come over here for just a second,” and then I hung up before he could ask for any details. After I got him inside the house, I told him that he couldn’t leave until he had helped me move the couch out of the bedroom and into my new office. It was not an easy task! We had to finagle and twist and turn, and finally, we ended up taking it out the front door and coming back inside another door, which led into the office. I am thrilled with the results. The bedroom is not near as cluttered and feels much more spacious. Plus, Joe has already taken a nap on the couch in the office and declared it much better than when it was in the bedroom. The only one who wasn’t happy was my son. He said that the next time I wanted furniture moved that I should call a mover. Lol!

When you work all day around the house, you want to be comfortable. So, this tunic-length tee from Loft was the perfect choice for me. I love a long t-shirt, but they are getting harder and harder to find since almost everything is going shorter this year. The tummy area is the part of me that I want to be covered, so the looser the fit, the better. A slim-fitting top is okay if I am getting dressed up and want to look thin and trim, but for working around the house, I want loose and baggy. With that in mind, I will usually order a large in my lounge and knock-around clothing, unless the size description says that the item runs big. Leggings are so comfortable, and they are a go-to item for me when I am relaxing, In the fall and winter months of the year, I like wearing thicker leggings that are full-length or ankle-length. But, when summer rolls around, give me Capri leggings! These are a perfect compromise between shorts/capris/leggings, and I love the look of them. I am wearing a pair that I’ve had for a while, but black Capri leggings are easy to find. So, I’ll link to some below for you.

I wanted to give you a good look at the high split on the tunic top. You will want to make sure that you wear something high-waisted with this top if you don’t want your flesh showing. ? The white vinyl flip flops have a small gold lining on the sole of the shoe that makes these ordinary flip flops look extraordinary.
