50 IS NOT OLD | WEARING LEOPARD PRINT AFTER 40This post will probably be fairly short tonight for a couple of reasons. One of the reasons is that I don’t have on any jewelry with the exception on some earrings. No jewelry means no descriptions so there goes a lot of time. But probably the biggest reason is that I am working on reports for the woman’s club. Actually, I am working on the reports AGAIN!50 IS NOT OLD | WEARING LEOPARD PRINT AFTER 40I came home yesterday afternoon and immediately started finishing up a report that needed to be sent to the club president so she can work on her reports. You have to do a narrative report on all the activities and tell how many members participated, how many hours were logged in, how much was money spent and donated, and how much money was raised. You have to tally all those numbers and then fill out a Stat Form. Well, I finally got all that done and told the computer to save it to my documents so that I would have a copy for next year. That is when I got the spinning circle of death. It just kept spinning and wouldn’t stop. I got up and did a few things just thinking it was having a hard time saving the document but when I came back 15 minutes later it was still spinning. I finally had to shut down the computer and reboot it. GONE! Every bit of it was GONE!!! After frantically searching everywhere possible I finally had to just face the fact that I was going to have to start from scratch again. I emailed the President and told her it was going to be late and then sat down to do the blog. I have my priorities. The report will just have to wait till I am finished.50 IS NOT OLD | WEARING LEOPARD PRINT AFTER 40This is as simple as you can get when it comes to putting together an outfit. A top, bottom, and shoes is all I have on and I certainly hope you gurls wear those items when you go out of the house. Lol! This black sweater is one that I bought last year at TJ Maxx. When I was looking through the racks I spotted the little silver horseshoe looking detail and immediately thought, “Ralph Lauren.” The last time I wore this sweater I had just started blogging. You know I am always looking for the unique details that takes a plain item and makes it stand out, and the horseshoe detail did just that.

50 IS NOT OLD | WEARING LEOPARD PRINT AFTER 40A simple pencil shirt is very flattering. I bought this the other day at the overstock store but I almost didn’t buy it. I picked it up and carried it around but the problem was the size. This is by Isaac Mizrahi and they had a sale going on that day where all there clothing was half price. That meant that all the tops were 6.00 and the bottoms were 3.00. I always wear a much smaller size when I buy from the overstock store but this had a size 6 label. I usually wear a 10, but the skirt looked like it would fit, so I decided to give it a try. If it didn’t I wasn’t out very much money. Haha I am so happy I decided to buy the skirt because it fit like a dream!

50 IS NOT OLD | WEARING LEOPARD PRINT AFTER 40I at first thought I would wear a pair of brown boots to keep from having so much black in the outfit. The problem was that I didn’t want any of my lily white legs showing so I grabbed the over the knee boots. When I took the pictures and looked at them I was not really loving the look so I went back into the house and grabbed the black over the knee boots. I liked them much better but I wish I had switched out and carried a brown purse to help even out the colors. WHATEVER! It will just have to do.50 IS NOT OLD | WEARING LEOPARD PRINT AFTER 40Which pair of boots do you gurls like best. I asked Joe and he said as long as the legs were covered, he didn’t care. My legs were blinding him. Hahaha! He was really feeling his oats today. He looked at yesterday’s post and said that he agreed with my mom that my face was changing. I looked at him and said, “really?” That is when he said, “yes it has. It must be the cake diet!” Have you guys seen the insurance commercial where the fisherman keeps yanking the dollar away from the girl. That is how I felt. I almost had a compliment. He laughed and laughed and then finally told me that he really did think it was making a huge difference. He just didn’t want me to be getting the “big head.” What do you do with a man like that????

This is a great outfit, Tania and even without any jewelry it is very striking – I think the little horseshoe and the earrings add enough sparkle!!!!
