WEARING BOLD AND BRIGHT COLORS IN THE WINTER

Y’all, I got a White Christmas this year!!! I can’t even remember the last time that it snowed on Christmas day. I am like a kid when it snows, and all day long, I kept looking outside to see if the snow had started. The morning started with a temperature of 54 degrees, but before the night was over, the temperatures had dropped into the 20s. That’s how we do weather here in Virginia. Joe played golf, and then we got snow. Lol!

The holidays have been a bummer in many ways, but seeing snow fall from the sky was so nice. ❄️ ❄️ ❄️ Later in the day, I went outside to play with the grandbabies in the snow, but it was dry snow, so you couldn’t make a snowman or throw a snowball. But, it was still gorgeous, and they had a blast.

Today, my outfit is NOT a snow outfit, but I thought that I would give you a reprieve from all of the neutrals that I’ve been showing you lately. I still love my neutrals, but this gorgeous pink scroll tunic is just my style! This silky tunic is so feminine and beautiful, and I love how it has a complementary trim that breaks up the pattern. The pattern is fun and vibrant, and the gold looks luxurious. This top also comes in black and gold if you don’t like the bright pink. I am wearing my usual size 1 (8-10) in this top, and I think it is perfect!

I know that you want to see how long the blouse comes down in the back, so here is that view. You can wear this top with leggings and not have to worry about showing parts of your rear.

I tucked in the top to wear it with my quilted jacket in this ultra pink color. The pink is so bright that you can’t see the quilting, but I promise that it is there. Lol! I love the coat’s length, and it is a lightweight coat, so not a big puffer version. This jacket will be perfect for spring, but not winter unless you live in a warmer climate. I am wearing a size 1 in the coat, but it is almost sold out in the pink color. There are several other colors, including a gorgeous baby blue color, so be sure to check them out.

These skinny ankle jeans are an old pair that I’ve had for a while, but they are still available on the website! I love the dark wash of the jeans, but they are also available in a lighter wash. These jeans fit so well, and I wear them all of the time! I am wearing my usual size .5, but in most brands, I wear a size 10. Please take my word for it, size down when you order from Chico’s.

This is a great shot of the chunky heels on my Lex Ankle Booties. I love these boots, but you might have already guessed that. Lol! They are a great neutral color, they go with anything, and the chunky heels keep them stable. I am wearing a size 9, so these run true to size.

Now comes the HALF-YEARLY SALE from Nordstrom, and there are some fantastic bargains. I’ve already snatched up some cashmere turtleneck sweaters for under $50.00 (I already own the black and gray, and I just bought the ivory and red ones), and some of the items that I’ve previously shown on the blog are now on sale. Here are a few items that caught my eye, but I’ve just scratched the surface. Things sell out quickly, so if you see something, act now.
