WEARING BLUE FOR BABY BOY

Today was not my normal day as if yesterday was. Lol! So, if you read my post on yesterday you know that my son and daughter in law welcomed a healthy son to their family. It is so wonderful to welcome a new life into the family. Emersyn is smitten that is for sure. I was holding him for the first time and she was inspecting everything on him. Then she decided that she needed to hold him all by herself.Her daddy sat her up on the bed with her mom and I put baby Beckham in her arms. She was doing great holding him but after just a minute he started to get fussy. She started singing Rock A Bye Baby to him almost like a whisper. We all got really quiet so we could hear her. I swear it was the sweetest thing ever, I had a tear or two to start forming. She was very upset that we had to leave and that momma and daddy were going to be staying at the hospital. She fretted and cried almost the entire way home. By the time I got her in bed with me she went out like a light and slept the entire night. In fact, it was about 9:30 before she was ready to get up the next morning. Lol! I wasn’t sure I would be able to get this post done. I thought it was hard working a full-time job and doing the blog but I think baby sitting a 4-year-old is harder. Haha! I bought this top a week or so ago at Cato fashions. I loved the gauze fabric and how it was lined underneath. I hate when my top is see-through. ? Even though I didn’t buy the top because it was blue (in honor of baby boy Stephens) it still goes with my baby theme. Lol! The halter neckline and the baby blue embroidery are unique details that really set the top apart from other tops. Some of you have asked about my strapless bra, my bra is one by Sweet Nothings and I like it because it stays up and doesn’t cut into my skin. I don’t have on a lot of jewelry because of the embroidery, I thought that was plenty. I do have a pair of cute earrings on that I thought just matched my outfit. These are called the Emery and they have a couple different shade of blue. I also wore my Lucienda bracelet that is several different designs created with seed pearls. You can see the one I bought while I was in Alaska really well. It would be the one with the whale fluke on it. Lol! My cobalt blue pants are a pair from Van Heusen. I actually have several pairs of cobalt blue pants, I must have been in a blue kind of mood one year. Lol! I find several things to wear with this color and I am sure you will too. If you keep reading my blog for a long time I will have a whole rainbow of colors in your closet. Lol!

Little Beckham Reece is a real charmer. Here he is wrapping me and his big sister around his little finger. Emersyn unwrapped his blanket to look at his toes and then she had to count them. The sweetness was oozing out of her. Pa had to do his own examination. He was really interested in looking at his ear. All the Stephens men have a feature on their ears and little Beckham kept the streak going. He looks like he is arguing with Pa in this picture. Haha! Tomorrow there will be an incredible virtual event – A Company wide fun way to learn about this amazing company with no commitment at all.
