WARM AND FASHIONABLE
Happy Monday everyone! It looks like winter has finally decided to show its teeth. I love snow but I hate cold. Unfortunately, to have snow then I have to endure cold weather. Fortunately for me, I found the perfect way to stay warm, looks fashionable, and not have a lot of bulk. 
I hate wearing a coat. If you have been reading my blog for any length of time you have heard me say that more than once. However, I am cold natured so I am always on the lookout for items that I can wear instead of a big coat. Purple Poppy reached out to me the other day about doing a post. She mentioned that she had just received this jacket and was wondering if I thought it was something you gurls would like. I immediately responded, “What’s not to like?” When the package with this Last Tango jacket came I was thrilled. This jacket is MUCH nicer and prettier in person than pictures can show. It looks purple in some shots, but it’s black. Black is really hard to photograph and sometimes details do not show up well so I brightened the pictures to help. It helped with the details but it might have messed with the coloration. Not that I’m above wearing purple and red, but that’s for another post. 🙂
The neckline of the jacket is rounded and it has a large one button closure at the top. I like the one button closure because it lets the jacket flow in a swing style. A style like this is flattering to most since it skims over any bumps and lumps that you might have. 
The single pleat accent gives it a stylish look even from the back. Also, a pleat allows the jacket to have some give and doesn’t make you feel like you are all bound up.
Notice the large cuff on the 3/4 sleeves. It is small details like this that make an item special. I also look for pockets in jackets. Occasionally I will put my cell phone is my pockets but mostly I just like the look. This is a longer silhouette and I think that looks dressier. You can wear this length jacket with dresses or jeans. I can see wearing this to a Christmas party, church, or when you are going out on a date night. This jacket looks “special” and way more expensive than it is.
This jacket looks like suede but it is washable. I looked at the fabric content and the label says 95% polyester and 5% spandex. It had me at washable. Lol! This jacket fits me perfectly. I would say that it runs true to size. I am wearing a large which is my normal size.

Besides…this doesn’t have to be a jacket per se. It’s such a gorgeous topper that you could basically wear it as a tunic (with something under it, of course…ha ha)!!

I love that this is simple yet the understated details totally make it work. I would not have thought to use the 3/4 sleeve length. I like it the layered look that it creates. Also, the cuffs and single pleat in the back gives it just enough to be interesting. It has a look of being stylish and relaxed. I love that!

You are looking younger everyday! The soft blonde hair color is very flattering and today’s outfit such a classy look. I prefer outfit with out scarf, but it’s cute for Christmas.

Very nice jacket! This could be dressed up or down and appears as though it could be used fall and winter…perhaps in early spring??? Well worth the investment. Lovely outfit…very appropriate for an office party. Thank you Kathy

Beautiful and very stylish jacket. Looks great on you Tania. This style looks as if you could wear it with certain dresses to avoid wearing a heavy coat. I like how you have styled it with the cowl neck. Speaking of snow….we had snow in NC this weekend and it was absolutely gorgeous. The best thing was it snowed most of the day Saturday and it didn’t lay on the roads….how awesome is that? ~❄️Lisa❄️~
Thanks, Lisa. The jacket is perfect for avoiding a heavy coat! I envied your snow this weekend. I wanted some of it pretty bad. Lol! I love a good snow but here in the mountains, it can be tricky when it snows. I thankfully live very close to the main road so I don’t have any issues.
You look amazing! Love the jacket, but when I went to order one, I couldn’t find the size chart. I need to know what their Large is equal to. Such as, size 12 to 14. Red and black are my favorite colors!
Jacqui, I usually wear a 10 in shirts and a 10 or 12 in jackets and coats and this fits great.

You look absolutely lovely and festive in your whole outfit! The scarf adds a special touch that you can also wear without the jacket. I’m buying the black jacket. Plus they have another jacket that I also like and going to purchase. Fortunately it comes in a small which is my size.
