WALMART DRESSES AMERICA
I am conducting a poll today. How many of you go to Walmart at least once a week? I know that my hand would be raised in the air at that question. I was there this past week with all of my grandchildren in tow, walking up and down the toy aisle. I also was buying supplies to make Smores, as well as picking up a few items for myself. I love being able to do almost all of my shopping in one place, instead of having to run all over town picking up an item or two at different stores.
I will be the first to admit that I never used to buy many clothing items from Walmart, but all of that changed when I checked out their We Dress America items. I love finding clothing that works for my budget, but I demand that it be stylish also. This terry dress by Time and Tru is perfect for “any” budget, and the dress is super cute. I am a huge fan of any dress that has pockets, although I never put anything in them. Lol! I have already worn this dress multiple times, and I even used it as a bathing suit cover up at the pool. I love the v-neck style, and I think the length is perfect as it hits me right at my knees. I am wearing a size large, so the dress runs true to size. The dress is available in several colors, and my daughter-in-law bought the one is the color called Studio Blue. Here is the link to the dress, and you can see which color you like the best.
During the summer months, you need a good pair of sunglasses. I grew up with the name, Foster-Grant, and I bet most of you did also. They have been around for 90 years, and the reason is that they produce great sunglasses. Every pair of their sunglasses is carefully constructed to give you the most comfortable fit with 100% UVA-UVB sun protection, maximum clarity, and scratch resistant lenses. They can do all of that, and make the glasses affordable too! Now you can purchase them at Walmart, which is so convenient. I bought these tortoise print, but I found a couple of others that I liked.
When you carry as many things as I do in a tote, you need to get one that is oversized. This colorful tote is perfect for me; it will match a lot of items already in my closet. My striped tote is perfect for carrying to the beach, or for throwing my groceries into after a day of shopping.
When I found these sandals, you could have knocked me over with a feather, I was shocked, to say the least. I haven’t seen Crocs in a long time, and I never expected to find them at Walmart. The fact that they are soooo stinking cute just blew me away. I have worn these so much since I bought them, you will see them a lot in the upcoming weeks because they are comfortable and stylish. They are also waterproof, so I can wear them around the pool without worrying about ruining my shoes. Just when I thought that my love of Crocs was over, they dragged me back in. Lol! I avoid going to Walmart as long as I can! (And almost any shopping!) But I order from them at least once a month. Love home delivery. I just truly dislike shopping fro anything. If I do go, I can only handle it for about an hour; then I’m done. But I’ve found some cute stuff from Walmart. Love t-shirts & tops & leggings.
I too have bought some items at Wal-Mart and like them. A couple of other places believe it or not that have cute inexpensive clothes are Dollar General and Family Dollar. They don’t last for years but at prices under $20 what can you expect.

I was blown away that Walmart is selling Crocs!! I love them and usually buy them from the website. I will definitely check them out. I have lost weight and am not done yet. I have gotten some of their clothes to replace some of my larger shirts and pants. I don`t want to spend a lot of money, knowing that I may still be going down a size or two. I find the clothes to be pretty decent and may even buy some of my “permanent” clothing. Thanks for the post.
Love the dress. That color looks amazing on you. When I wear a dress this style I feel I need some sort of shaper. Have you found one that’s not too binding. It’s humid in my area, I sure don’t need another bulky layer.
Robin, I didn’t wear a shaper with the dress because of the same reasons you mentioned. It is really humid right now and I didn’t want to get all sweaty. This was pretty flowy, so for the most part, it didn’t cling to my troublesome areas.
I bought 2 of these dresses. One in blue with short sleeves and the other sleeveless in olive. Put on a scarf or necklace and the outfit is ready to take you just about anywhere!
I just bought a sleeveless olive dress. It feels like linen, but I didn’t check to see.
We don’t have a Walmart where I live, so I shop at Target. 🙂

Thumbs up all around today! I’ve been pleasantly surprised at Walmart’s clothing lately & have bought several items. That dress is on my list. Going there today as matter of fact. The pockets make a winner in my book. And the shoes are cool. I want those too. Especially when you said waterproof. Have great Monday.
I am so sad that they are not carrying the same fashion in Canada as the US. 🙁 There have been so many looks on the bloggers that I follow from WalMart I am thinking I might have to do a trip to the US!
I love Time and Tru clothing at Walmart, especially the soft tees and jeans! The fit, quality and price cannot be beat. Lots of cute handbags, accessories and shoes to coordinate. One stop shop!!
