VINTAGE PURSES ARE UNIQUE AND SPECIAL
I am loving filming these videos, and I hope that you gurls are also! I had someone mention that they would like to have a closer look at my vintage purses they could see in the background of my videos. So, today, I am showing you several of my favorites today. They are unique, and you won’t see other women carrying the same purse. I buy mine from yard sales, antique stores, and the vintage fashion shows that I attend. You can also check on eBay, but it is harder to know what they look like when they are online. Enjoy the video and comment what other videos you would like to see.

Loved seeing your vintage purses! I too love vintage and have a collection of basket and woven purses I use in the summer. I always get so many compliments- “oh, I just love your purse”. I love scouring yard sales and thrift stores for them! People should not be afraid to use or wear what they like. I also have a collection of vintage brooches, they are so beautiful and again when I do wear one I get sooo many compliments! One women told me that I had inspired her to wear hers!
Enjoyed video today. I love purses and I too like vintage items because it gives me a sense of another time and way of life. The purse with the little alligator on it was so cool. You’d never see that today. Talk about a conversation piece. And the feather purse was darling. Women must not have carried much in the old days. And some of them were timeless looking. Well, that brightened an otherwise gloomy snowy morning here in Northwestern PA. That was fun. The crocodile purse had to be one of the most unique. Kind of creepy. Lol.
Loved seeing your vintage purses! What fun! I have memories of my Grandmom’s purses. They were always beaded and jeweled and I LOVED them. When I see one now, it brings back sweet memories.

Found this on a blog ….. The Caron company was started in Houston, Texas, by Mrs. Velva Pepper (great name, huh?) who began embellishing handbags in her garage in the mid 50’s and selling them to her friends. Soon, her daughter joined her in this enterprise, and soon thereafter their respective husbands joined in as well. Caron, Inc. of Houston was formed in 1957.
According to an old Kiplinger’s report, Velva took her little garage enterprise to pretty great heights…in 1963 they had 65 employees and annual sales of $2,000,000. …. I couldn’t find anything official on the company so not sure where she got her info
That was another great video. I laughed out loud when you showed the aligator/crocodile head with feet purse!! I never knew anyone would think of such a style. You are really the fashionista through and through. I am a lucky girl to get your emails everyday. How do you choose your outfits everyday? Does it come naturally for you? I actually go to my Instagram to remember what goes with what!
Thank you for this video of your collection of vintage purses, there are certainly some unusual ones there and I have my favourites. I was just about to throw out a leather handbag which I have had since the 1970s but having watched this have now decided to keep it even though it is well past its best.
