VESTS ARE A GREAT FALL ADDITION
Today was one of those days that I spent my wheels and got very little accomplished. I did manage to video (I haven’t checked it yet) my makeup routine when I only have about 5 minutes to get out the door. I am crossing my fingers that it is presentable to use later on. And I did pay a few bills at work and answer lots of emails. Then I got a phone call from my hairdresser that changed all my other plans.
I am really good friends with my hairdresser and she knows that I can usually come at a moments notice if I need to. My hair appointment was scheduled for Friday and I have been counting down the days because my bangs have been staying in my eyes lately. She had a cancellation and was desperately trying to get someone to fill it. I told her that if she couldn’t find anyone else that I would do it. That is when she informed me that she had already called everyone she could and it was down to me. No pressure here. Lol! So, I waved to Joe and headed out the door. I have learned in life that you do not want to make the person in charge of your cut and color mad. You could leave the salon looking like a scalped skunk. Hahaha!
I have been on the lookout for vests and kimonos this fall. I like how easy they are to wear over your existing summer tops and still give you a little warmth. I bought this mocha colored vest strictly for the color. Even though I LOVE bright colors there are just times when I want to wear black, brown, navy, and gray. Fall is the perfect time to indulge my “dark” side and wear brown. This vest still looks very feminine because of the cascading ruffle down the front. I bought this one at Cato Fashions and it comes in brown and gray.
These Kut from the Kloth jeans were in my StitchFix box that I got last month. I almost didn’t keep them because I have plenty of other jeans and I thought why would I need another pair. I am so glad that I decided to keep them though because I have worn them several times since I got them. The reason is that they fit like a glove, they a super soft, and I love the deep dark color.
Today is the last day to get the Regimen/Hydration Serum combo with the FREE mini travel regimen. The mini travel regimen will be the same regimen that you order and it is approximately 2 weeks worth of extra product. I have 5 mini eye creams that I will give to the first 5 ladies who place a regimen/hydration combo purchase as a Preferred Customer (PC). That will make your mini regimen complete!!! Go to www.tstephens5.myrandf.com and scroll down to become a PC or just hit shop if you are already a PC. The combo purchase can be found under the FEATURED tab.

I look forward to reading your blog. You always look so good!!!
Great fall outfit. Question whats the quickest way to change your purse daily? Have a great day.
I like to keep things in different wristlets. That way you only have a couple other items to change out. If I know that I am only going to be carrying that purse for a day then I will only change out the essentials.
I’m really enjoying your blog! As a hairstylist for over 35 years, we love clients/friends like you. Your hair is darling and I love that vest on you!
Hi Tania. Like your outfit. The color of vest is really nice. The jeans do look good on you. I recently signed up for Stitch Fix & was surprised how well the clothes fit. Are you enjoying your boxes? I know I am. You should show us your clothes from Stitch Fix some time. Love to see what you got. Have great day.
Johnna, right now I am on the fence with StitchFix. The first box was okay and the second box all I kept was the jeans. I am giving it one more try before I decide. If I don’t like this box then I may try another service since there are plenty out there to choose from.
Do you like Birchbox? I thought about trying it. By the way since I started reading your blog I find myself wanting to dress better even on days I don’t have to. Thanks for inspiration. I’m even wearing more jewelry!
I did Birchbox but honestly, there were very little products in the boxes that I liked or would use. The only thing that I can remember loving from one of the boxes was the eyeliner that I use all the time called Doucce. I buy it from Amazon now.
Thanks for the tip. I think I’ll pass on that.
I agree Lisa! Would love to see a tutorial on Tania’s gorgeous hair as well. ?
Can we look forward to a new hair tutorial now that you’re wearing it longer???? Yes please!! 🙂
I love your hair and plan to show your picture to my hairdresser. It would be helpful to know your hair type, texture, thickness, products you use etc so that my hairdresser can determine if this style would work for my hair. Thanks!
Lisa, I am going to do another tutorial on my hair. My hair is coarse and very thick.
Hi Tania! Love the vest, gorgeous color on you. Have you already shared a video on how you do your skincare? I thought I remembered you doing one with an R+D regimen. Let me know where I can locate it. Looking forward to the makeup one!
????
Obviously I meant R+F! ?
I think I was thinking “research & development”….too much work on the brain ?
Sandy, I have done two skincare tutorials. The last one I did was in April and here is where you find it.

Cute look Tania – had to giggle when I saw we were both wearing animal print yesterday – a true sign that it’s a must have 😉

This is so pretty! And your hair looks great! Does the vest run large at all? I usually take an XL and all that is left is the Large.
Shelia, I am normally a size 10 or a large when it comes to clothing. This vest is a size large. I would take the chance if you like it. You probably wouldn’t be able to wear it over a sweater but everything else will probably work.
Just tried to order the cute brown ruffle vest at Cato and it says they don’t deliver to CA!!!!! What the heck?! That’s rediculous! Any ideas now on how to get that vest? Geese.
Susan, what size do you need? I can check my store and ship it to you if they have your size.
I was going to try L. What size did you wear?
If you can get it in Large/Brown at your store, let me know the details on how to do that. Thanks so much.
I’ll go down there tomorrow.
Susan, mine is a Large.
Ok, you can email me at velazqueen@gmail.com if you do find one L/Brown. Thanks again!
