TWISTED KNOT DETAILS ARE SLIMMING
I spent all day long traveling on Wednesday. I am a multi-tasker and it drives me crazy to only do one thing at a time. So, while Energizer Bunny Friend drove the car I worked on the blog. I cropped and edited the photos, unloaded them, and then wrote today’s post all while traveling down 1-40 at a fairly rapid pace. Lol!
After the post was done then I moved on to calling some of my partners to tell them about all the exciting news that was announced at the event we went to. I love talking to these ladies and even though most of us have never met in person, I feel like I know them and I love talking to them on the phone. I love that the blog has enabled me to have so many new friends that I would never have ever met otherwise. The internet is a wonderful thing. It is amazing how people from all over the world can talk to each other so easily. It used to freak me out a little when I would think about people that I didn’t know looking at my blog and now I totally embrace that. And, I especially love it when you make comments because that gives me an insight into your life.
On yesterday’s blog, I wore a jumpsuit and several of you commented that you wear maxi’s instead of jumpsuits. So, I decided to wear a maxi today. They are so easy to wear and really, really comfortable. I know a lot of petite ladies feel like they can’t wear a maxi but I promise you that you can. You just need to buy one that is for a petite person and wear heels if you feel like you still need extra height. This maxi has a flattering twisted knot detail that is placed high on the dress. The v-neck plus the knot detail is very slimming. I love the details at the bottom of the dress. I think that the detail at the bottom of the dress is what makes this dress stand out from the pack. This maxi is by Eliza J and it is machine washable.
These Sydney hammered gold hoop earrings with the blue fringe are so cute and striking. They have a 3″ drop and these are truly statement earrings! Fringe earrings are really HUGE this year! The Mary Ellen bracelet is so cute. It is in a gold-tone and it has a very easy clasp. But, it is the fringe that makes it so cute. I have a simple little gold bar monogrammed necklace called the Jefra. The Celine monogram chain bracelet is no longer available. May is my 2nd year anniversary with Plunder and I am celebrating all month long. When you make a 50.00 purchase (excluding taxes and shipping) you will receive a FREE piece of jewelry from me as a gift! Join me in the business of Plunder Design this month and I will gift you 2 pieces of jewelry. Go to plunderdesign.com/taniastephens and hit the shop tab. Pick a party with my name on it and then have fun.
I added a platform shoe to my look to make sure that my dress didn’t drag the ground. I hate it when my dress is too long and I keep stepping on it.
I would love to have everyone shout out where you are reading this post from. What part of the world are you in and HOW did you ever even find me. After all, I live in a tiny little town in Southwestern Virginia. What were the odds of you ever finding me?
I really appreciate all of the shares and the pins of my outfits that you have been doing. PLEASE continue to do that, you won’t believe the difference it has made in my number of visitors to my blog.

I’m from Mtn Grove, MO. That’s the Ozarks. I moved here from Kansas City to live on our family farm. Since I’m an hour away from shopping now, I searched Pinterest to find different ways to wear the clothes I already had. That’s how I found you. I read your blog every morning. You have inspired many of my outfits. Thank you!
Hi Tania,
I’m 60 miles south of the beautiful Grand Canyon! Found you on Pinterest about 2 months after you began posting.
I am in Berea, KY. I found you on Pinterest after turning 50 and trying to find fashion that wouldn’t make me feel old. I look forward to reading your blog every day. I especially love the one on Sunday.
Hi Tania! Reading your daily emails from Southern California! Found you as I was surfing the web looking for some style. Felt like I was in my 50s and in a style rut. Have put together a couple of outfits with your ‘advice’. Thanks!!
I am from Eureka, South Dakota; a very small town 12 miles from the North Dakota border. I found you through another blogger I follow.
I really enjoyed your pictures from Cancun! It is a wonderful place; my husband and I used to vacation there yearly before he passed away. I hope to return again someday.
I am reading you from Venezuela!
Hi Tania, I am from central NY, Lee Center to be exact! I found you via Pinterest and have been hooked…..you are loads of fun! Love the maxi….not so in love with the jumpsuit….have images in my head when I wore them years ago…bathroom issues! LOL!!
Shout out from Columbia Missouri! Found you by googling Fashion for over 50. Been following your blog for 3 or 4 weeks maybe. Feel like we’re neighbors. lol
Tania, I am reading this blog from a remote island in the Pacific Ocean. I found “50 IS NOT OLD” while browsing pinterest. When I saw the title “50 is not old” and being in the over 50 group, I had to take a look. I was hooked!!! I love your blog and being that I am “disconnected” from the “real world” for months at a time on this island your blog helps me stay up on the current fashions. I loved the blog with the Old Navy yellow dress and the Rockstar Raw edge jeans so much that I purchased the entire outfit. Thank you for being so brave and doing this blog.
Another lovely outfit and I love the earrings! I too have to multitask, especially better than watching Ed’s driving! Altho, thank God we’ve been safe so far. Glad you got to spend the day w your Energizer Bunny!
