50 IS NOT OLD | IT IS TIME TO EAT A LITTLE CROW Gurls, I had such a good time this past weekend that I am already trying to figure out how to go back. I told Joe that we need to take a long weekend and head back down when it gets a little warmer. The Lake Oconee area is so beautiful! I had a message last week from a follower, Debbie, that she lived in Lake Oconee and would love to meet if we could find the time. Once my Energizer Bunny Friend and I got to Lake Oconee we found out that we were the first ones to arrive so we asked about a good restaurant and went to eat. Debbie and I had exchanged phone numbers so I decided to call her while we were ordering our dinner. We talked for just a second and I told her we were eating at this restaurant. “Where are you? I am at the same restaurant!” Can you believe we were at the same place at the same time? It was so much fun meeting Debbie and her friend. We talked and talked and laughed so hard. I saw people giving us some looks like we were a little crazy. Lol!  50 IS NOT OLD | IT IS TIME TO EAT A LITTLE CROW This was my view when I woke up the next morning. I could get used to this kind of life. It was nippy but it wasn’t freezing like it had been the week before so I was grateful. We spent the day lounging around and then we had a training by Mary Hoff who is a business coach and leadership expert. She was warm and friendly and extremely knowledgeable. I plan on taking a training by her later in the month and I am looking forward to it. After that, we ordered pizza for supper and just sat around and relaxed. 50 IS NOT OLD | IT IS TIME TO EAT A LITTLE CROW Now, it might be time to eat a little crow. I don’t want to hear any, “I told you so” coming from you gurls.50 IS NOT OLD | IT IS TIME TO EAT A LITTLE CROWSaturday morning we headed to the Ritz-Carlton Spa to be pampered. I hate going out without my makeup. You can even see in this selfie I was taking that I don’t look pleased. Lol! 50 IS NOT OLD | IT IS TIME TO EAT A LITTLE CROWThen we went through the doors and I immediately got in a better mood. The place was PACKED! There were women everywhere as we checked in. No one had on makeup so I did feel a little better. We registered and three gurls went for their massage at 1:00 and then the other three went for their’s at 2:00. EBF and I were in the 2:00 bunch so we grabbed our robes and went to change. While I was in the dressing room it dawned on me that no one said how far to strip down. I went down the hallway and whispered to EBF, “what do we strip down to?” and I got the answer I was fearing, “skin!” Yikes!50 IS NOT OLD | IT IS TIME TO EAT A LITTLE CROWWhile we were waiting for our massage we went to the Sauna and baked for what seemed like forever and then we left there and went into the Steam Room. The steam was so thick that we couldn’t even see the seats. But, oh my goodness, it felt so good. This picture is after I came out of there, I was heading to shower off before it was my turn for the massage. 50 IS NOT OLD | IT IS TIME TO EAT A LITTLE CROW There was a room full of lounge chairs and a hot tub and a cold plunge tub. I opted to just relax for a few minutes. I hadn’t brought a bathing suit and there was a limit to how much exposure I was willing to do. Lol! A couple of the girls sat on the side and dangled their feet in the water. 50 IS NOT OLD | IT IS TIME TO EAT A LITTLE CROWThen we went into the waiting lounge to be called in. My EBF and I were already feeling pretty relaxed by this time. I am glad that we had the later time so that we could go to the sauna and steam room first.  50 IS NOT OLD | IT IS TIME TO EAT A LITTLE CROW The first group came out and we all got together to have a picture before the next group went in. Susan was my masseuse and she had a wonderful British accent. However, she insisted that it was me that had the accent. Lol! I had the stress relieving and relaxation massage and it lived up to its name. I loved every minute of it and I couldn’t believe it when the 50 minutes was up. I think I might have to make it a point to try to get another one pretty soon. I might be hooked.50 IS NOT OLD | IT IS TIME TO EAT A LITTLE CROWYou know that I didn’t leave without getting me a little souvenir. Lol! I will be wearing what is in this little bag later this week.  50 IS NOT OLD | IT IS TIME TO EAT A LITTLE CROW Here are the amazing girls that were on the trip with me. Siri, Bailee, Casey (It was her retreat and her family’s lake house we stayed at), Gretchen, Elena, Leigh Ann (aka, EBF), and me. This trip was made possible all because Casey said yes to Rodan and Fields. We all are part of her team and we are all grateful that she introduced us to the company. Don’t miss out on all of the fun, come join me and next year you could be in this picture with us. Email me for more info. This is my unique story. Spas are amazing. I did the package at a spa in Euraka Springs, AR, several years ago and I felt like I was made of rubber afterwards. It was heaven!

You look even more beautiful without the makeup on, don’t worry. You don’t look a day over 40! The makeup adds a little glamour but I can tell you are a beautiful person inside, which is just the best.
