THE PONCHO STYLE
I would like a show of hands if you are married or if you have ever been married. You gurls are going to understand my pain then. Joe is in the proverbial doghouse!!! He has a bad case of foot in mouth disease and until he gets cured I am afraid that he needs to be in isolation. Lol! I have heard that it is contagious and I would hate for it to spread. 
His first symptom was when he was talking the other day about needing to go on a diet. Later on that day he was eating everything in sight so I mentioned that he was wanting to go on a diet. His answer was, “I didn’t want to go on a diet, I wanted YOU to go on a diet.” You and I both know that is not the words that a sane man would ever utter. Then, later that night I had got in bed before him so I was all nice and toasty warm. He got in bed and said, “Ooooh, I am cold. Throw that thunder thigh over me and warm me up.” I heard all of you gasp all the way here in Virginia. Today he has complimented me all day long……….not going to work!!! 
Some of you have mentioned that Friday is supposed to be casual Friday. This is my casual look. This is as simple as it comes without wearing a birthday suit and just ask Joe, you don’t want to see that. Lol! This is a sweater and a pair of pants and I am sure everyone has that in their closet. This is a strange top in some ways. It is like a poncho because it is a square piece of material but then it has sleeves. I do love this casual style because it doesn’t touch me anywhere. There are no bumps or bulges for Joe to make fun of. Lol! He is really going to pay for a while.
Since I wore this month’s Plunder Posse (here) already recently I decided to wear a different necklace today. It was also a Posse purchase but I don’t remember which month it was. It came with the larger bracelet that I have on. The smaller bracelet is the Ashlyn. It has the same ivory and gold beads that the Posse bracelet has but they are smaller. Both are on an elastic band and fits up to 8.5 inches. I mentioned the other day in this post that I liked gray and browns together and Plunder Design must also. Here is where you can go to sign up for the Posse. The earrings that I have on are the Judy and they are in a gunmetal color. These are made in a filigree design and they have a 3″ drop. 
It was very windy when I was taking my pictures. I was freezing to death because I didn’t have on any kind of shirt under the poncho. After I finished with the pictures I went back into the bedroom and found me a black tank top to wear under this. It was a really good thing that I did too because this was what I wore to Charlottesville and it was even windier there. When we were unloading the luggage from the vehicle I thought I was going to get frostbite. Brrrr. I have a pair of Rockstar jeans on in a caramel color from Old Navy. I think that these run true to size and I am wearing a size 10. BTW, today a LOT of online stores will be offering FREE shipping so skip the malls and shop in the comfort of your own home.

You are beautiful and perfect just the way you are. You need to remind ol Joe that if he doesn’t find you attractive there are tons of men who would and you could always get a newer model with fewer miles and better eyesight!
OMG….joe must be my husbands long lost brother! They are all the same. Be patient your opportunity will arise for getting even. Joe should be very concerned… a blog of any women can be dangerous!!!
Love the poncho top! I own two and agree they are comfortable. I am short so I have be careful to size down or it looks like I ate by a blanket!!!
Oh, Tania, you are cracking me up! Isolation is the only solution, for sure. If Joe cannot even see the difference in those two photographs, he’s got it bad. I’m really loving today’s look–never noticed the poncho with sleeves thing before, but I like it a lot. And, just for the record, your thighs look particularly slim in today’s photos, so there!

My husband has now joined facebook. God help us all. He “shares” things to my page about weight, wrinkles and getting old thinking they are funny and I’ll laugh. Like the one about wanting a fat bank account and a skinny body and don’t mix it up like last year! Seriously? He thought it was so funny! Some of them are so bad I have to take them off! My friends would form a posse and string him up! He doesn’t get the jest of sharing to another’s page and it reminding you of them/being about THEM!!!! hahaha And if he “likes” one more picture of my friend flaunting her stuff ……Men, you either love ’em or you’re gonna kill ’em! I feel your pain, sister! Merry Christmas to you and thank you for inspiring us!
