The Beauty Products I Love From The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale
If you love beauty and skincare like me, you’ll love today’s post. You know I always heavily shop the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale for discounts on the latest fashions. This year, I also took advantage of the sale to grab the beauty products I love. Plus, since the items are on sale, I decided to try a few products that had been on my radar.
Here are some of the items that came in with my first order. I was so thrilled with everything I bought that I placed a couple more orders. Lol! I recommend trying a small spot anytime you are trying a new product. I don’t want anyone to have an allergic reaction, so it is always better to be safe than sorry.
Today’s makeup look is all from my new items. I LOVE playing with makeup; it is almost as much fun as playing dress up with my fashions.
I haven’t whitened my teeth in a while, and they have started to get dingy from all the coffee and tea I drink. The issue I have with previous teeth whitening systems is that they take so long to use, and I end up slobbering profusely.
The Moon Teeth Whitening Device is much easier to use since it uses dissolving whitening strips and only takes 5 minutes to use. I’ve been using it when I do my skincare routine in the morning and at night. I’ll be sure to show you the before-and-after after I’ve used it for 10 days.
I’ve been using the T3 Airebrush Blow Dry Brush since I got back from Atlanta a week or so ago. I love how much volume this gives me and how it dries and styles at the same time. I don’t wash my hair that often because I have a dry scalp, but I’m using this as a “blowout” styling tool, and it’s working great.
I also purchased the Featherweight StyleMax Dryer since I liked the brush dryer so much, but I ended up deciding I didn’t need both products, so I’m sending this one back. But if you are in the market for a hairdryer, this one has fabulous reviews and is on sale for $70 off!
This might be my favorite purchase from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, and that’s saying a lot. I’ve been using Trish McEvoy for a couple of years, but only the Eye Brightening Set. This year, I decided to take the plunge and buy the Makeup Planner which includes a huge amount of items. I did the math, and when I divide the number of items (16), not including the makeup case and small travel case, you’re only paying $17 per product. That is insane for Trish McEvoy products!!!

I had purchased some other eyeshadows, so I played around with the ones below for this look.
The Laura Mercier Caviar Stick Eyeshadow Trio is so silky and smooth to apply. I love the matte nude color, and I apply that to my lids. Then, I added the burnished bronze as an eyeliner and above the crease line. After I blended that, I added a tiny amount of the rose gold to my inner eye.
I would have been fine with just using the Caviar Stick Eyeshadow Trio, but I wanted to try out the other two eyeshadow palettes I bought. With a case like this, the products HAVE to be amazing!
I added the soft antique rose (the first color on the bottom) and the pink quartz (the second color on the top) to my eyes. It helped to set the cream shadows and added a little more depth. Since I already had on the Dramatic Lash® Mascara from the Trish McEvoy set, I didn’t try this one.
I’m sure all of you are familiar with MAC products. I ordered this small set because it has the colors I use all the time, and it would be easy to slip in my bag when I’m out and about.
Aren’t these colors gorgeous?!? They look fabulous with blue eyes! If you look at the photo of my eyes above, you’ll see where I added the “if it ain’t baroque” gold shimmer to my look.
Beauty Products I Love And Use All The Time
I use this all the time, so I took advantage of the sale to stock up on it. This is my favorite brow-setting gel, and it holds my brows in place all day.
I’ve been using Lancome’s mascara primer for years. It really makes a difference in how your mascara looks, and this is an awesome price for this duo.
Another product I use all the time!!!
I love the MAC Fix It multitasking setting spray, but I’ve not tried the Stay Over version. It is supposed to be a long-lasting version, so I’m anxious to try it out!
This is the best faux tanner that I’ve ever used! It gives me the most realistic color, and this is the express version, so it dries quickly. I bought this last year when it was part of the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, and I grabbed it again this year.
You can’t tell from the stock photo above, but look at the size of this bottle! It will last you all year and maybe even longer. I’m giving the to-go bottle to my granddaughter, who uses this all the time, too.
Beauty Products I Love, But Have Never Used…Till Now
I’ve been eyeing this Mediterranean Glow Set, but refused to buy it until it went on sale. I’m so happy with the “glow” from the lightweight bronzing liquid and the blush. I use it in the spots I want to have a sunkissed glow, like my cheeks, forehead, and chest.
Have you heard about La Mer? This is a favorite of some celebrities I follow, and that’s probably because they can afford the hefty price tag. This is a “mini” version of some of their favorites, so I had to order it so I could try the products. I’m expecting HUGE results since the regular cost of the moisturizing soft cream 8.5 oz jar is $1583! It is also on sale, and it can be yours for a whopping $1375. I think I’ll stick with this mini set for now.
I love an exfoliating, scrubbing soap bar. My extremely dry skin needs it to get rid of dead, flaky skin. I’ve been using a pumice stone, but I’m pretty sure I’ll like this much better. My friends swear by the Kielhl’s brand, so I can’t wait to give this a try.
I’m a HUGE fan of OSEA products. I’ve been using the Algae Body Oil and Algae Body Butter, so I thought I would give this anti-aging body balm a try. If you put the term “anti-aging” in your title, I will try it!!!
OSEA has lots of other OSEA products, and you can find a list of them here.
Because I use the St. Tropez Self Tan Express Bronzing Mousse for my body, I decided to order the Glow Drops for my face. I plan on putting them in my moisturizer each morning to see if I can get a nice glow tan. I recommend using a small amount to begin with and increasing the amount as needed.
I have pale, easy-to-burn skin, so I always use good sunscreen when I’m outside. I’ve been using Supergoop Unseen Sunscreen for the past two years, so I ordered this jumbo set, which included a stick version. I love a sunscreen stick because I can put it in my car and have it handy any time I am out and need sunscreen.
I have a hard time with perfumes and fragrances since they can give me a headache. I’m reluctant to even try them since one sniff will bring on the headache. But I have seen so many people talk about NEST, and I decided to try out the Grapefruit & Bamboo duo.
For some reason, my husband hates candles, but he loved this! I have one of the diffusers on our main living level and one downstairs. He likes it so much that he asked me what other versions they have. Lol!
I can’t thank Nordstrom enough for including all these wonderful beauty and skincare items in their annual Anniversary Sale. There are LOTS more items to choose from, so don’t just check out what I ordered; look for yourself.
Nordstrom is known for its excellent customer service, and they offer free shipping and free returns; it is super convenient. I love trying on clothing in the privacy of my home, but I hate paying for shipping and returns. That is one reason I love shopping at Nordstrom; trying new clothing styles never costs me anything. Nordstrom offers BOPUS (Buy Online Pick Up in Store) and contactless curbside pickup options.
Nordstrom sponsors this post, and I will receive compensation, but the opinions expressed are my own.
Great post. You need to try the OSea Body Serum. It is amazing.
I love their products!
I have been trying to do less makeup. I enjoy your post with tips on products. Thx!
Wow love the reviews on these products. I’m always looking for new mascaras.
How fun that your daughter spent another night. Lucky you!
