50 Is Not Old | That Song Is Stuck In My HeadDo you hate it when a song is stuck in your head? The other day we started singing “Where is Thumbkin” and now that song is stuck in my head. Don’t ask why I was singing that song in the first place. Haha Get ready to have a bunch of songs swirling in your brain, I am going to name my favorite songs.50 Is Not Old | That Song Is Stuck In My HeadWho Let theDogsOout? Who, who? Lol! I sing this almost every time I take the pooches out for a potty break.

Jeramiah was a Bullfrog. Such a good friend of mine. Ribit Ribit! This was a favorite of my sister and mine when we would be on the way to the lake.

Macarena. Oh goodness, that song drove me crazy. About as bad as Gangnam stye. Lol!

Fergie and the black-eyed peas song, My Humps, my humps, My lovely lady humps.

And one of the worst, Mickey! Oh Mickey your so fine, your so fine you blow my mind. Hey Mickey50 Is Not Old | That Song Is Stuck In My Head

Today’s outfit is one that I would put in the classic category. It is basically monochromatic, all in grays, navy, and white. My sister will LOVE this outfit. I really like the top. It is one that I bought at Cato’s a couple months ago. It is gray and white stripe, but it is the twist at the hem that separates it from an ordinary top. Here is a similar top that is now on sale. Here is the best I could do for a plus version, but hey, it is only $6.00. You better hurry before they sell out. Lol!50 Is Not Old | That Song Is Stuck In My Head

My dark navy jacket is from Izod and I think I bought it at JC Penny several years ago. I have a jacket in black by Worthington, and they look so much alike that I couldn’t decide which one to wear. In the end the navy won out. You need a navy blazer! Everyone needs a navy blazer, they go with almost anything. There are thousands to choose from, but here is one that is similar to what I have on in a misses and plus size.50 Is Not Old | That Song Is Stuck In My HeadI am carrying an Aimee Kestenberg gray satchel with gold hardware. I love this purse, even though it is quite a bit smaller than some of my other purses. The shoes are by Marc Fisher, and they are black (wasn’t sure if it showed up black or navy) with gold hardware. 50 Is Not Old | That Song Is Stuck In My HeadThe dreaded hiney shot. Haha I have tried, and there is basically no way to look slim from this angle. Might as well tell you about the pants. They are a nice thick stretchy material, with no pockets. They are by Jules and Leopold. Here is a similar pair under 15.00, and this pair goes up to a 24W.50 Is Not Old | That Song Is Stuck In My HeadI can’t believe I made another top blogger over 50 list. This time Jo-Lynne included me in a list of some fantastic bloggers over 50. It may be just me, but do you think it is coincidental that I started the Draw The Circle devotional Last Monday, and I have made TWO blogger lists this week? Me neither!!!

You’ll be singing that all day now. Hahahahahahahahaha

Okay gurls, I need some input from you. I started a youtube channel to upload a video of my outfits daily. For those of you who have asked for a back-side shot, etc., you can see the outfit in all directions. Look it over and tell me honestly whether to continue, or just quit while I am ahead.

Love your blog. You are the first and only fashion blog that I follow as of right now. You always look so nice. I can’t wait to try out some of your looks. You look great from all angles. Have a blessed day Tania. The video was nice but I love the written word and pictures better.

  3. Love your outfit today, and the You Tube video is cute! The song I love to hate is Julie, do you love me, by Bobby Sherman. Pahhleaaase, lol!!!! (and yes, I’m not Lisa, my name is Julie!!)

  4. Well, girl, you are a natural at modeling!!! I figured it from your photos. I agree with Alison, it would be good to hear you speak, too. You always look beautiful. I appreciate you sharing your Christian faith, as I am a Christian, too.
Thanks for your for real blog!!!

    Loved the video.

  8. Look forward to checking out the You Tube Channel. I am petite and plus size, 12 usually (barely) with rolls and a muffin top. You wear so many elastic waist pants. I want to try some but all of my tops are fitted so I will have to regroup. Living near Knoxville where would you suggest I shop and try on these pants? You are an inspiration with your faith, your fashion tips and your wit! Look forward to your blog each morning with my coffee. Like a friend chat! BTW I check out many of the fashion blogs and have for some time. Biggest difference IMO you are REAL! I do not look at your prices and think REALLY! 🙂

  9. A++ for outfit and video! But, why not say a few words on the video? It would be fun to actually hear that southern twang! (Yes, I’m a Yankee..haha!) I read your blog daily, and am always wondering why you comment on the “behind”shot. I was one of the suggesters of that view, and you really do look just fine?

    1. Alison, I did a couple videos where I talked about the outfit, but you could hear so much road noise it was distracting. If I can ever figure out a quite place to record, I might try again. I don’t think I have a southern drawl, but I bet you would. Hahaha
