Talbot’s In Home Try-On Haul For June You’re Gonna Want To See
You know I hate going to the stores to do try-on hauls. The dressing rooms are horribly lit, the rooms are tiny, and I feel pressured to hurry up. Plus, a few sales ladies make me feel like I’m committing a crime, so I prefer to do them in the comfort of my home. I hope you enjoy today’s Talbot’s In Home Try-On Haul.

This colorful outfit is beach-ready! I don’t have a vacation coming up, but I can still be ready. The Modern Classic Shirt in the beautiful pool blue has Lilly Pulitzer vibes. It looks great with the white Lined Pleated Linen Shorts, but could be worn with a lot of different bottoms.

Did you notice the bright pink accents? I love cute details on my clothing!

I tucked in the shirt so you could see the Pleated Linen Shorts better. These shorts are fully lined, and that is HUGE for me. I’m wearing my usual size 8, and they fit great. Pleats add more fabric, but these shorts don’t look bulky.

The great thing about white is that it can be worn with anything! Here, I added a simple Pine Organic Cotton Scoop Neck Tank, which completely changed the look of the outfit. The pine tank can be worn all year round and will look great layered in the fall. I was skeptical about wearing a medium, but I think it fits great without showing too many lumps or bumps.

I love a monochromatic outfit, so I added the Drapey Twill Cargo Culottes to the scoop neck tank.

These are not your normal clothes; they are chic and comfy! The culottes have a gorgeous drape to them and aren’t clingy.

They also feature cargo pockets, which are trending and popular. I’m wearing a medium, and they fit perfectly! I would wear a stretchy belt with this outfit, and probably throw on a denim jacket, and head out the door.

Olive isn’t normally a color I associate with summer, but this Olive Eyelet Embroidered Shell looks summery with its palm tree print.

The top is also lined, so you can’t see through it. I love the split neck which helps to elongate your neck. The shell has nice, wide straps, so you don’t have to worry about your bra straps showing.

Can you believe how different the shell looks when worn with the White Pintuck Flare Leg Jeans?!? The entire outfit looks brighter and lighter because the jeans brought out the white of the shell instead of the olive color.

I’m a huge fan of pintucked pants. They give the illusion of a crease without the need for an iron. Do any of you still use an iron? I use a steamer for all of my clothing, so that made me wonder. The slight flare at the bottom helps to balance out your hips. This is a universally flattering style of jeans that most women can wear.

Ooooh! This white Linen Halter Fit & Flare Dress is gorgeous! I’m busy trying to think of somewhere to wear this beautiful dress. I may have to talk Joe into a fancy date night so I can strut around in this dress. Lol!

It is as stunning from the back as it is from the front. I’m wearing a size 12, which is my usual size for dresses. It fits me great through the waist, but it is a tiny bit too big for me in the chest. I would need to do a small 1/2″ seam under each arm, but that’s an easy fix.

Of course, the dress is lined! Talbots does it right when it comes to white clothing.

There comes a time when most women over a certain age should not wear sleeveless tops and dresses. Regardless of how much they exercise. Sleeves are much more elegant appropriate.
I feel like you should be able to wear anything you like when it comes to sleeves. After all, you are just showing arms, there’s nothing horrible about that.
