TAKING ADVANTAGE OF THE HALF YEARLY SALE

Yes, this is a current blog post. Since shopping and blogging is my full-time job, you would think that I would be aware of when one of the BIGGEST shopping events of the year is happening. But, I was completely taken off guard yesterday when I saw that Nordstrom’s Half Yearly sale had started. This is HUGE, and you can save up to 50% off sooo many items, and I am here to help you navigate the number of items on sale since it can be overwhelming.

 

I’ll start this sale by saying that if there are any items that you’ve been wanting, but waiting until they go on sale, now is the time to shop. You want to stop what you are doing and shop NOW because the sizes will sell out very quickly. I try to put my choices in categories such as luxury items, jeans, beauty, tops, shoes, and handbags.

This Barefoot Dreams cardigan is one of the luxury items that I am encouraging you to check out. I bought mine during the anniversary sale last year, and I wear it all of the time. It is so soft and cozy, and I will even use it as a robe to keep me warm. I am wearing a medium, and it fits me great.

 

Here is another Barefoot Dreams Cardigan that is on sale. I love this Ash color, but it also comes in black.

I know that it isn’t boot wearing weather for most of us, but these Vince Camuto Gradina ankle boots are on sale NOW. When you get the chance to buy leather boots at 60% off, you better grab them while you can. These also come in a nubuck color, but the sizes are getting limited already. I ordered my regular size, and they fit great.

 

Oooh, this blue and white striped boatneck sweater is 40% off! I love the color of the sweater, and I think that it is perfect for this summer, especially for a cool night. I am wearing a medium in the sweater.

 

My favorite sweatshirt is 40% off!!! I love this sweatshirt, and I’ve worn it a ton since I bought it. I ordered a large in the shirt since I wanted it to be oversized and comfy. This black version is limited in sizes, but there is a light blush color also available.

I didn’t show the entire outfit, but the jeans I was wearing in this photo are Joe’s Jeans. I have fallen in love with this brand, but they can be on the expensive side. So, now is when you need to check them out since there are many of them on sale. Here is the link that shows all of the jeans on sale, including the Lara straight-leg pair I was wearing.

 

 

The Marilyn Straight-Leg jean has become a favorite of mine. I bought these during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, and I am still reaching for them all of the time. These are by NYDJ, and I love this brand because of the fit. I sized down one size in these jeans, and they fit me perfectly. They are 40% off!

 

 

Alert, alert, alert!!! My Blanknyc suede moto jacket is 46% off, and that is the perfect time to get this awesome jacket! I am wearing a large jacket which is the perfect size for me. I am crossing my fingers that your size will be available, but not dilly-dally; it won’t last long.

 

This watercolor floral print top was a BEST SELLER in April, and now it is on sale for under $30.00. Unfortunately, it is only available in small, XS, and XXS, and only a few are left in plus sizes.

 

 

These black suede boots by Vince Camuto are at a huge savings! They are up to 60% off, and this fall, you will be so happy that you bought them now. I sized up a 1/2 size, and they fit great.

Shoes

I must have been in a shoe kind of mood because I sure found a lot on sale for you. Many of these are fall and winter shoes, but when you can find them on sale, you need to take advantage of the savings.

Handbags

Neutrals and black handbags are what I chose for you, but most of these bags have other colors available besides the color shown. So, if you like the style, click on the photo to see if there is another color you might like better.

Pants and Jeans

I only linked to items that had multiple sizes. However, there are a lot more jeans on sale. I suggest that you search by your favorite brand to see if your size is available.

Nordstrom isn’t the only one having a big sale. Talbots has a 30% off sitewide sale, and I’ve been asked to round up a few things that I would order. Here are just a few of the items. There are plenty more, but my computer is acting up, so I’ll have to do the rest later.
