SWEATSHIRT WITH UNIQUE DETAILS
I made it to Georgia all in one piece. It took me six hours to make the trip and I spent most of the time making phone calls so that I felt like I got something accomplished on my drive. I got to my sister’s house just as her husband came in and started telling us about his afternoon. He is a professional photographer and he had been hired to take pictures by a home builder of a new model home that they had just built.
The house was the only one in the subdivision and he was busy taking pictures. There is a “sweet spot” for photographers at twilight so he was trying to get the shots before the sun went down. About that time a police officer drove up and wanted to know what he was doing. He explained that he had been hired to take pictures and that he only had a few minutes to get the shot. So, he kept shooting. The police officer, however, wanted ID and then they wanted to call the builder to verify all the information. By the time he was finally satisfied that all he was doing was taking pictures the sun was starting to set. Let’s just say that my BIL was not a happy camper. Lol!
This is my favorite purchase out of my very first Trunk Club. Trunk Club is similar to Stitch Fix but it is a Nordstrom company. I wasn’t entirely satisfied with my Stitch Fix experience so I decided to try Trunk Club instead. I kept two items from my first Trunk and there were a couple other things that I would have kept but they were a little too big. The Halogen navy top is a nice heavyweight sweatshirt but it has some unique details that take it up a notch or two. The shirring down the sleeves and the navy and white pinstripe cuffs with a bow are really too cute.
Winnwood Retirement Community is an upscale Independent and Assisted Living facility off the square in Marietta. They host us each year and it is a BEAUTIFUL place to see the show. They have a ton of events for their residents each month but this one is also free and open to the public. I’d love to see you Gurls there!
Have you ever wondered why I would ask you to sign up for my email subscription? I know that you may access me from another way like FaceBook or Instagram but “brands” like to see a large email subscription list. So, I am asking you to sign up if you don’t mind, it would really help me. The comment section is at the end of the post, so keep scrolling. I look forward to reading all the comments, they make my day. Be sure to follow me on Pinterest, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, and Facebook.

Fabulous look! Love every single thing right down to the orange touch of the jewelry which goes great with navy! Tell your BIL that my husband is also a photographer and completely understand the frustration when you have limited time exposure to get the perfect shot! Wish I lived closer to go to the vintage event, darn!
Christina, I would tell my BIL BUT, that would mean that I would have to tell him that I put him on the blog. Lol! He might not be amused. Hahaha
Love this look, nice details on the sweatshirt make it look special. I’ve been using the lash boost and an really noticing a difference. I’ve noticed that your eyes look much more open and less hooded. Which product does that?
Stephanie, it is amazing what Lash Boost can do. My lashes look soooo much longer since I have started using this. I agree with you about my eyes looking less “hooded.” I think the Redefine Multi-Function Eye Cream has made the biggest difference in my wrinkle and eyelid appearance. I am starting to see a difference with the darkness under my eyes since I have been using the Active Hydration Bright Eye Complex.
love all your outfits.
Love your outfit. I have a question – How do you store your long necklaces? Do you box them or hang them up?
I hang all my necklaces, Mary Lou. Here is the link to what I use: http://rstyle.me/n/ctvx5xb6xt7
What a great jewelry organizer!
Love the shoes!
Tania so love your outfit today. You look so thin, whats your secret? Enjoy your blog every morning such an inspiration, keep up the good work!
Diane, I have just learned how to pose for the camera to make me look thinner. Also, if you notice I do a good job camouflaging my waist which is my biggest trouble spot.
Tania, I so enjoy reading your blog every day. Sometimes you make me think , sometimes you make me laugh. When your sister had the writing contest I told my sweet granddaughter. She entered and won a spot as a runner up. I was so proud of her. She wrote a story based on what we did this summer, making treats for residents at the assisted living where my mother lives. You being with your sister, and going to the assisted living reminded me to write to thank you. So, thank you for everything. Keep writing and God bless you.
Sharolyn, that is fantastic!!! That is certainly something to be proud of! I knew my sister had announced the winner but I didn’t know that any of them came from my blog. I will have to be sure to tell her.
My favorite parts of this look are the jeans and the blue open toed booties. Great shades of blue. I am such a jeans girl and I plan on wearing them waaaaaaay into the future no matter how many birthdays I celebrate.
Those boots are some that I have worn several times on the blog. They are by Marc Fisher and here is the link: http://rstyle.me/n/ctvyb2b6xt7
My mom (the 70+ model on my blog) just bought a fun sweatshirt when we were in Seattle!! I think it’s a perfect way to keep casual, yet not look so sloppy!!!
Love this Tania!
XOXO
