50 IS NOT OLD | STYLISH TRAVELING OUTFITAfter the stressful week at work, I am sure glad to see Friday roll around. Normally, I don’t pay much attention to what the day is but this week has really been a killer. I am not sure if you remember me telling you about my internet being out for about 2 weeks and I had to work by a hotspot of my phone. I am just thankful that I knew how to turn on a hotspot so that I could work. Anyway, we finally got that fixed even though it took two different technicians coming out to the house and replacing my modem and router. Here’s the thing, once all that got fixed my printer wouldn’t work.50 IS NOT OLD | STYLISH TRAVELING OUTFITI just didn’t feel like dealing with the printer so if I wanted something printed I would just email it to myself and then open up the email when I was at work. I could print it there with no issues. That worked for me but Joe is not quite as patient, like not at all. Lol! So, when I came home last night I decided to fix the printer problem. I hooked it up to my laptop computer and after about 10 minutes of reconfiguring I finally got it to work. Then I moved on to my laptop but it wasn’t connecting. That is when Joe came home and saw what I was doing. I don’t know if your husband makes you nervous when you are trying to do things but mine will drive me batty. After a few words being exchanged, he decided to go down the road for a drive and let me go back to what I was doing. It didn’t take me another 10 minutes until I had the printer, my laptop, and his desktop all up and going. All it really took was me going in and updating the wifi on the printer. When he came back about an hour later and asked me if I got it done I said, “yes, whew. It took me forever.” LOL!!! This can be our little secret.50 IS NOT OLD | STYLISH TRAVELING OUTFITThis is actually what I wore on my trip to Georgia last week. When I got in the car my Energizer Bunny Friend looked at me and said, “you call that casual?” I told her it was casual, after all, I just have a pair of pants and a sweatshirt on. She just looked at me like I had grown three heads. This black sweatshirt is one of my favorites because it is longer. This is one that I bought at Old Navy probably 3 years ago and I will still wear it every winter because it is so comfortable and warm. This is something that I wear around the house to lounge in but I will normally wear it with a pair of leggings then.

50 IS NOT OLD | STYLISH TRAVELING OUTFITI am not wearing a ton of jewelry today. I don’t have a necklace on because of the fringed scarf so I chose the Nika earrings which make a statement all by themselves. These are so striking with the silver hammered look. They are made of leather so they are really lightweight. I also have the Ezra bracelet and the Gwen bracelet on today. Since I was going to a R+F event you know I had on all of my Alex and Ani bracelets that they sent me. Lol! When you order at least 75.00 (excluding taxes and shipping) you will get ONE additional piece of jewelry from me. But, if you order at least 125.00 (excluding taxes and shipping) then you will get TWO items from me! Several of you have asked about buying more jewelry so for every additional 50.00 you spend after 125.00 I will add another piece of jewelry. January is the month to make your purchases!!! Go to plunderdesign.com/taniastephens to place an order and be sure to pick a party with my name on it.
50 IS NOT OLD | STYLISH TRAVELING OUTFITMy pants are also from Old Navy. I must have Old Navy on the brain today. This is a pair of the Rockstar Mid-Rise jeans in the color rubber band. These are a super skinny pair so be sure to size up if you order them. Anytime I buy the skinny jeans, especially the ones with stretch fabric, I will size up. This is a great neutral color that you can wear with most items. I love wearing beige and black together, it is a favorite combination on mine. I think it makes the black show up so much better. 50 IS NOT OLD | STYLISH TRAVELING OUTFITYou have got to love this black knit fringe infinity scarf. Whew, that was a mouthful. Lol! I call this my lion’s mane scarf and I always think of Scar the lion when I wear it. If you have small children or grandchildren then you know what I am talking about. This scarf also comes in Ivory if black is not your color. 50 IS NOT OLD | STYLISH TRAVELING OUTFITSo what do you think about my traveling outfit? Is this something that you could see yourself wearing or do you agree with my EBF and this that I am overdressed? Curious minds want to know.50 IS NOT OLD | STYLISH TRAVELING OUTFITI talked to a really nice real estate lady in California yesterday about becoming a business partner with me in my R+F business. She told me what kit she was going to join with and it made me start to think about how incredibly reasonable it is to become a consultant and start a business. You buy a kit, and if you already have a cell phone or a computer that is on the internet then you are pretty well set. That made me think about our lumber business and what it would take to start that business. The inventory, the building, land, office equipment and computers, the delivery truck and forklift, not to mention the employees, taxes, insurance, goodness the list goes on forever. Starting your own business for under a 1,000.00 is unheard of, especially since you will receive twice that amount in actual products. The 60-day money back guarantee also applies to becoming a consultant. Try telling the banks that you want a 60-day money back guarantee on any new business adventure you are undertaking. Lol!!! Go to www.tstephens5.myrandf.biz to check out the kits and then message me for details. Join me before the end of the month with a 695.00 or 995.00 kit and get a $100.00 back from me.

  1. Wpold totally wear! You look ?

  2. Clever how the fringed scarf becomes like a part of the top and looks like it is connected, great idea!

  3. I think your outfit is fine for traveling. I get that “dressed up” comment too. I blame it on the fact that I always wear jewelry. I think many people see that as dressing up. I just figure that since it’s there, I need to wear it and not wait for a special occasion. I’m not talking about diamond tiaras and fancy schmancy, but I do wear a load of bangles, earrings and often a necklace. You look beautiful.

I agree w Shirley – its tge boots that take this outfit from casual to dressy! Most people wear flats or some cute tennis shoes for casual, so you are always a cut above and look like tge “rock star” you are!

I agree with everyone, this is a great casual outfit, but looks so much dressier with the scarf and boots. I love how you elevate your outfits!! Thanks for the tips!
