50 IS NOT OLD | HOW TO STYLE OVER THE KNEE BOOTSMy get up and go has got up and gone. I feel blah today. I can’t seem to muster up the energy, or even the desire, to do anything and there is plenty that needs to be done. Piles of laundry are waiting, the cupboards are bare, and I can barely walk through the house without stepping on a toy. If any of you want to come over and help me, just email me and I will send you my address. Lol!50 IS NOT OLD | HOW TO STYLE OVER THE KNEE BOOTSI hope I am not getting sick. Joseph (my son) and Kayla (DIL) have both been down sick with the flu. Thankfully, Emersyn has not gotten the flu but she hasn’t felt good either. I woke up Sunday with a headache and an upset stomach that stayed with me the whole day. I ended up just laying around and sleeping for the most part of the day. Not that I felt terrible, I just felt useless, blah, and not quite right. Don’t get me wrong, I am not a ball of energy on my good days but Sunday was really bad. Haha50 IS NOT OLD | HOW TO STYLE OVER THE KNEE BOOTSWhen I was on my way to Glamour Days the other day, my Energizer Bunny friend and I stopped at a little boutique on the way. I left with only this stripped dress and it was on the clearance rack. I only spent around 30.00 so it was a good deal. This is a sleeveless dress so I added a cardigan to keep me warm. The dress is by LoveRiche, a brand I had never heard of, but that I found on Nordstrom Rack and Amazon.50 IS NOT OLD | HOW TO STYLE OVER THE KNEE BOOTSI love my necklace c/o of Kay and Star that they sent me earlier in the year. They are a mother and daughter team who make amazing, well-made jewelry on Etsy. My silver bracelets are by Plunder, they are the Raelynn and the Abela. The leather cuff I have on, (you can’t see it in this photo) is called the Pippa. Plunder has had a really, really bad weekend. They created some Black Friday Sales that were so good, we all crashed their website trying to buy items. They tried again for Small Business Saturday, and the same thing happened again. So, they are going to try again today. They announced that they would make it up to everyone, I assume that means with extra savings, but I don’t know. The products will probably be available for sale again today at 11:00 EST. Go to www.plunderdesign.com/party/tania and look under the specials tab for items. Cross your fingers, I know this has been very frustrating for the company. Don’t forget, I will be mailing everyone a check for 10% off your purchase (excluding tax and shipping) for every order placed over 50.00.50 IS NOT OLD | HOW TO STYLE OVER THE KNEE BOOTSThis is the first time this fall and winter that I have worn my over the knee boots. I have such long legs that mine are more like “to the knee” boots, they don’t go “over the knee.” Haha These are a pair that I bought myself last year at Belk for Christmas and they are by Tommy Hilfiger

50 IS NOT OLD | HOW TO STYLE OVER THE KNEE BOOTSI love this cardigan. It is soft and the perfect length for wearing with jeans or dresses. This is an open cardigan, it has no buttons, and it swings open. You can wear it like this, which is the way I wear it over 90% of the time, or you can belt it for a different look. I guess I will wear it like that the next time.
50 IS NOT OLD CYBER MONDAYThis is my Cyber Monday special for Rodan and Fields. 50 IS NOT OLD | HOW TO STYLE OVER THE KNEE BOOTSJust another manic Monday for me. Haha! I sure hope my day is better than Sunday. I did the unthinkable on Sunday, no makeup at all, but I did at least get out of my pj’s. Lol!

  1. Love the outfit. Very cute! Hope you feel better. It’s been through our house, too. No fun. Hopefully it won’t last long.

  2. Not seeing any “specials” on the Plunder page?

  3. Sorry you’re not feeling well. I hope you feel better soon. There is not time to be down with something this time of year! LOL

I love this little dress. And I probably would’ve passed it up. Sometimes you’ve just gotta try on something to really see it. Such a cute outfit and I love the boots!

My daughter is challenging me to 15 days of Christmas shirts/sweaters. We are both teachers and we have 15 school days until the break. Yikes! today I’m wearing a Christmas kitties long sleeve tshirt. We’ll see if I can keep it up!

Love your style, and love the cardigan, where did you get it? Check me out when you have a minute. I’m new to this blogging thing. 🙂 aservingofgratitude.com

  5. You might feel blah but “you look mah-ve-lous!” By the way I really like the longer version of your hair in this shot. I am a fan of full hair and it looks good on you, gurl!

  6. Love the outfit especially the cardigan.I’m short so guess the boots would come up to my armpits.!!

I think OTK boots are the cat’s meow! Although I have the opposite problem– because I’m so short, they are usually half way up my thigh—ha ha!!
My mom (the 70’s model on my blog) still thinks these boots are not super appropriate for women her age—-but maybe with a little perserverance, I’ll change her mind!
Sorry you are feeling so blah—hopefully you’ll feel like your normal self soon!!
    You look fantastic!

Love the outfit! I too short for over the knee boots. I look like I am wearing waders for fishing! Love the dress and necklace. You deserve credit for getting up and putting it all together when you don’t feel well. You look great and no one can tell you aren’t yourself. Take care and get better.

  9. I can t tell you are not feeling well! This is a beautiful outfit! I love the dress cardigan and the boots! Love the colors too. Take care of yourself Tania, relax a bit if you can.??

  10. You may feel blah Tania but you look super in this outfit! There isn’t a thing I don’t like ? Prayers sent your way that you don’t develop a horrible virus.
