HOW TO STYLE A DRESS SERIES, PART 3
This day was one of those that made you want to pull your hair out. Nothing major was going on, it was just a whole lot of little things that seemed to be happening all day long. I needed to have been cloned because I was being pulled at in several different directions. Spring is starting to hit and we have been very busy at work. I am very thankful to see our little town doing better. It has been a rough couple of years for those in the coal industry.
My Plunder and Rodan and Fields businesses have also been exploding. I am now considered a 1 star peep in Plunder which means I have gone into a leadership role. That is different for me but I am enjoying spreading my wings in this area. I have recently added two new ladies to my Rodan and Fields business and I spent several hours on a ZOOM call Sunday night with two of my Australian ladies. That was so cool! Here I am sitting in my kitchen and I am talking with people in Australia. ZOOM allows you to have video and audio so we can see each other. This just blows my mind. It is completely free and each call can last for 30 minutes. As soon as one call ended we would just call right back and talk for another 30 minutes. One of the ladies is going to fly down and meet me and my energizer bunny friend in a couple weeks. We are going to Rosemary Beach, Florida for an R + F event and party. We will be helping one of the ladies in our group celebrate her getting her new Lexus!!! I can’t imagine how excited she has to be. I would be on cloud nine. Lol!
I bet you didn’t expect this look today. Yes, this is the same dress as I wore here and here. However, in today’s look, the dress has now become a top. Tucking the dress inside of a skirt was fairly easy but I don’t think it would work as well if I had tried tucking it inside of a pair of pants. I would have probably looked like I was going roller skating and I had added some extra padding to my rear. Lol!
I added some cute jewelry, I just happen to have a lot to choose from, and a wide belt. The jewelry I have on has all been retired now so I am not linking to it. I can’t wait for my new stuff to show up. The suspense is killing me! I am the person who would open up my Christmas presents and then retape them so no one would know. I do not like surprises. Lol! The belt is an old one that I bought years ago. I like it because it is stretchy and it expands and contracts with my waistline. Haha
This canvas satchel has been a favorite from the first day I purchased it. The Michael Kors bag was one that I found one day while I was shopping at TJ Maxx. It was almost fall and I had doubts about buying it because I was afraid it was not a purse that I would carry in the fall season. I have found that I carry this bag every season. I think it somehow looks good no matter what season it is. That makes me feel better about buying a purse that is more expensive.
I love these cute little sandals. I am so thrilled to see sandal weather coming! I even broke down and had a pedicure done so Joe doesn’t have to look at my ugly piggies. ? These shoes were c/o Nina Shoes back last summer. They were called the Virginia, I can always remember that. Lol! I also liked this pair that was similar but they have a flower on the top.
I love this tiered skirt. I bought this at Belk last year for Easter. I didn’t end up wearing it for Easter but I have worn it before at least once. This skirt is a t-shirt material so it is VERY comfortable. I think the skirt gives a boho or beachy look. I pulled the skirt up over the swing dress and a whole new outfit was made.

I have that same skirt. I wear a lot of long skirts with belts. That is a very pretty look !!
Love the skirt! But can’t understand why you would cover up such a cute dress. I have several of the same dress in different colors, stripes and patterns, I love it so much. I know the dress is very flare, to me that would add just to much bulk under a skirt……. can’t wait to see tomorrow!

Love this look! I have the same skirt in black. It is so comfortable. You have inspired me to wear it over a short black and white striped dress. I think i will wear it with a bright pink belt and sandals. Rosemary Beach is beautiful, have fun!
