STRIPES AND LACE

This was a crazy week for me. I was out of town for a couple of days and I have been trying to play catch up at work. My son has been making videos for our lumber store and it has been hilarious watching them. He is really funny and can come up with some of the craziest things to say. I am not sure it will sell more product but it will at least be entertaining for everyone. If you need a good laugh you can look up Vansant Lumber on Facebook. Warning: You may spew coffee on your computer and we are not responsible for that. Lol!My granddaughter, Emersyn, came over to spend the afternoon with me. She wanted to play with the colored chalk on the driveway and porch. Joe HATES colored chalk. I don’t mean just a little, I mean he despises chalk on the driveway. Yes, he knows that it washes off but he can’t stand it until it finally goes away. This is the same man that brought a paint gun into my kitchen and shot my garbage can. Haha! Anyway, Em got out the chalk and wrote all over my front porch. I knew Joe would freak out if he saw it so instead Em and I decided to wash the porch. I got us both some brooms, hers was tiny, and then I got out the water hose. I bet you can imagine what happened next. We had the best time playing in the water, my porch is clean, no chalk to be found, and I got sprayed right in the face!!!I bought this cream/beige overlay top last year when I went to Florida. I knew this type top would be super cute under blazers and cardigans and because it is sleeveless it can be worn in the summer all by itself. A top like this is something that can be worn all year long. I really like the lace design, it gives the top an interesting detail that will catch your eye. I found a list of stores that are having sales this weekend. I tried to link to items that are similar to mine in those stores because everyone loves a sale.

This closeup is so that you can see my earrings. I had taken these pictures about three or four weeks ago and forgot about them. I can’t afford to lose pictures when I post daily so I knew I had better use them before summer hit full force. The problem is that all my jewelry has been retired. This is a first for me since I am still new to Plunder jewelry but I am learning. What I am going to do is tell you that the Jess Mo earrings are exactly the same as the ones I have on but they are clear.
Since the short necklace is adios you can look at the Evelyn Nicole instead which matches the Jess Mo earrings. Lol! And the long necklace was a Plunder Posse necklace. When I first saw the necklace I thought it was an Owl but I figured out later that it was pineapples. The matching earrings were the tiny little pineapples like what is on the top on this necklace. Each month the Posse changes and it is between 1 to 3 items. The Posse is $25.00 a month and you can cancel at any time. The new items are announced at the first of the month so you can cancel if you don’t like that month’s item. I use the one’s that I don’t like for birthday and Christmas presents. Who am I kidding, I never see jewelry I don’t like. Lol!The watch bracelet is currently unavailable, HOWEVER, I have one that I am going to give away. This is a new pair of shoes that I bought at the overstock store in town. These are by Halston and they are super cute. I wasn’t sure I would like the design because of the shoes not having a strap. I tried them on and walked around the store for a bit. To my surprise, the shoes stayed on my feet really well. I love the nude color since they will go with anything. The only drawback was that the heel is a tiny bit higher than I normally wear. I wouldn’t want to wear these all day but for a date night or something like that, they would be fine.

I love these striped palazzo pants. Navy, white, and tan are a great color combination. It may just be me but I think they look classy. I knew I had worn this pair of pants on the blog before so I went in search for the post. I wore them very similar but I look so different. The post was exactly one year ago. I don’t know if it the hair color, the shape, or the R+F glow. I am sure you think I am crazy but you look at the picture and tell me you don’t see the difference.
