Let’s face it; the holidays can be stressful for everyone. There are so many gifts to buy, family coming in, foods to cook, and some might be missing loved ones which makes it even worse. So, I’m going to try and help you make your holidays a little less stressful this year. The first thing you need to do is take some time for yourself.

A long soak in the tub has been my getaway spot since the kids were young. I would run a large tub of water, throw in a bath bomb, light a candle, and then read a book or listen to music. Most of the time, I had little eyes staring at me or heard banging on the door, wanting me to get them something.

Those days are long gone, and the only little eyes staring up at me now are from Lucy Lu, and she doesn’t want anything to do with a bath. Lol! I always wanted a bath caddy to hold all of my goodies, so I ordered this bamboo bath caddy tray that expands to fit my tub. I loved that it had a slot for my drink, and I envision sipping on a glass of wine or champagne while I soak. Instead, this is Ginger Ale, and my grandson snagged it and loved that he was drinking in a big boy glass.

The stemmed wine glass in the photo is actual glass (just for a picture), but I use this shatterproof version instead when I am in the tub. The shatterproof stemmed wine glass looks just as lovely, and it won’t break if you drop it in the tub.

This bath caddy tray also has a prop for a book or tablet. A tablet is fun, but you don’t want to drop that in the water, so a book might be the smartest way to go. I’m using Joe’s tablet today since I didn’t have water in the tub, and I didn’t think he would mind.

Another way to save yourself some stress is by making your Christmas decorations SIMPLE and EASY! I have gone overboard on the decorations in the past, so trust me when I say that scaling back is not a bad thing. I still love a festive look, and I enjoy putting out all of my holiday decorations. But, if you’ve followed me for very long, then you know that putting away the decorations is not my strong point.

I love the look of Christmas decorations, and the lights on the tree give a room a beautiful glow. So, I have left mine up for months after Christmas. That seemed to work out fine, so I decided to leave my tree up all year round…for THREE years. Lol!

I’ve decided only to put out the decorations that I will put back up after the first of the year. I like waiting until January before I put everything away. This SIMPLE and EASY wreath decoration for a table took me about 2 minutes to put together, and it is something you can do too.

I had this 20″ wreath leftover from my outside decorations, and I wanted to use it in the house. It had a beautiful deep red bow attached, but I removed that for this centerpiece. I took my wooden cake stand and flipped it upside down so that the smaller pedestal was on top. I then added a Country Holiday 2-wick scented candle to the small pedestal, and voila, I was all finished. The candle even came with the cute decorations attached, so I didn’t even have to worry about finding decorations for it.

The bath caddy tray is for helping you to relax, the simple and easy wreath centerpiece is for making your decorations beautiful and less time-consuming, and this following product is for helping you to breathe easier.

The Miko Home Air Purifier has multiple fan speeds and a true HEPA filter to safely remove dust, pollen, allergens, and odors. There is even an option for dispensing essential oils, which is a wonderful added bonus. I don’t have a lot of allergies, but my grandchildren have some. So, this smaller version would be great for putting in their room where they sleep.

The reviews on this Miko Home Air Purifier were great, and it has 4.6 out of 5 stars. If you know someone with allergies, smokes, has a lot of dust, or just wants to breathe better, then you might want to have them try this purifier.

Next, I wanted to show you a few practical stocking stuffers. Most of us have e a few “last minute” gifts that we need to grab, and I like giving practical and useful gifts. I don’t mind spending money on gifts, but I want them to be something someone can use and like. One of the stocking stuffers that I am getting my granddaughter; the UNO Premium 50Th Anniversary Edition Matching Card Game.

My granddaughter loves to play card games, so I know that she will love this 50th Anniversary Edition of UNO. The Solo Pro Noise Cancelling headphones are a gift to Joe and me. I bought myself the white pair and him the black pair. These wireless headphones work great since I don’t have to listen to his shows, and he doesn’t have to listen to the kids screaming when they come over to visit. Lol!

The following two stocking stuffers are from me…from Joe. Joe never knows what he is gifting me for Christmas, birthdays, or anniversaries. Lol! It is always a surprise for him when he sees me open my gifts.

I’m not usually a perfume wearer, but I decided to give the Burberry London Eau de Parfum, Perfume for Women a chance.

I have to admit that part of the reason I decided to try this perfume was the plaid bottle cover. Lol! I figured that if I didn’t like the smell, it would look good on my dresser. Haha! The scent was light and soft, which was fantastic for me. I don’t like overpowering smells, and this one was perfect.

The last practical stocking stuffer for me is the Gleem rechargeable vibrating toothbrush. I’ve had a rechargeable toothbrush for years, and I love how well vibrating toothbrushes clean your teeth. But, the one that I had is starting to have issues, so I thought a new one was a great and practical gift.

I picked the Gleem since it had great reviews and a money-back guarantee. This soft coral was the color that I chose, and there is a black one that I might get for Joe if I like this one like I think I will.

There is also a battery-powered vibrating toothbrush in lavender if you would rather not have cords sitting out on your counter. The Gleem battery-powered electric toothbrush takes a AAA battery, and one comes pre-installed with purchase.

I am going to order a Gleem battery operated toothbrush for Larry and me. Another fantastic card game for the family is Quiddler. We were introduced to it while visiting family in IL, and I just had to order it while we were still away. The gest of it is creating words out of the cards you have in your hand. All of your tips are great! I’m with you on decorating more simply and not liking to put the decorations away.
