SOAR IN 2017
NO RED!!! I may be cured but don’t count on it. Lol! I thought you might be suffering from RED overload so I decided to give you a break, at least for a day or two. I was really liking the red but then I look at this more subtle, toned down look, and I like it too. I guess there is a time and a place for everything. I just thought to myself about when I was in school and you would get a note passed to you. Do you like me? Check the box below, and of course, you had a yes box and a no box. Do you like me better in red? Check yes or no. Lol!
When I sit down at night I never know where my crazy brain will take me. Lol! From childhood romance to who knows what. I am feeling a little down in the dumps tonight. A friend of mine passed away suddenly and it was such a shock. Brad went with Joe and me to the New Year’s Eve party we went to and we had a blast. It is just so sad when someone who was so full of life and such a wonderful soul passes away. Brad was very stylish and he had to have a “shoe” picture with me at the party. I think he just wanted to show off his Gucci shoes. Lol!
Let’s talk about today’s outfit. It’s funny how an outfit comes together for me. I wanted to wear this sweater and that’s where it all started. From there I picked out the pants and then the top. The cashmere sweater is one by Isaac Mizrahi that I bought at the ————–. Did everyone one say, “overstock store?” Hahaha! Yes, I got it at the overstock store. I call it that because they purchase returns and overstock from QVC but when I called it the QVC outlet store it caused confusion. Some thought that it was an actual QVC sanctioned store which it is not. So the overstock store is as close as I could come to figuring out what to call it.
My pants are the Harper by Old Navy. I bought these last year when they were on the clearance rack. Since they are the Harper line I sized down and they fit great. I really liked the way I wore these pants the last time and I worried about re-styling them again but I think this turned out alright. Which outfit do you like best? I know I like my tan better in the last one. Lol! I am going to start my tan right now!!!
I think I have covered everything except for my crinkle camisole which I bought at Maurices. I love their cami’s and I try to pick up one or two every time I go there.
I have had lots and lots of messages about joining Plunder and Rodan and Fields this month. January is the perfect time to join and get your year off to a good start. Plunder is hosting an incentive this month which ends on the 31st. They are giving you an additional 3 pieces of jewelry, just because. If you want to sign up go to www.plunderdesign.com/taniastephens and hit the Become A Stylist button. If you need some more information then just message or email me.
Rodan and Fields is a company that is going places. It is a HUGE opportunity for someone looking to have a business from their home. The doctors have already paved the way with Proactive and it is pretty much a household name. You do not have to try to get them to understand that the products WORK! I am super excited to be building a team here in the US and I even have some ladies in Australia that are hopping on board. I would love to have a consultant in every state plus Canada. Ask yourself if you know anyone who has skin. That is pretty much the big picture. Everyone can use R & F so put the doubts aside and actually BELIEVE. Go to www.tstephens5.myrandf.biz and go down until you see the Be You Own CEO button. Email me with any questions at fiftyisnotold@gmail.com

Hi Tania – I’m so sorry to hear about your friend! Saying good bye is never easy, less so when it’s unexpected, but the best thing about being close to someone is that you can pull up a memory when ever you like!
I stumbled upon your blog looking on Pinterest for some inspiration with my wardrobe and to build my confidence wearing things that make me feel beautiful at 54. 10 days ago I bought 3 of the old Navy Pin Tuck Swing Dresses (like the plumb colored one you had in a post recently) and am in love with all 3! I’m really enjoying your posts and the outfits, they’ve inspired me to look at my outfits differently. Now I’m thinking that I need to empty my closet and dresser of the clothes that don’t make me feel beautiful & go shopping! Thank you!
#soarin2017!
Oh hugs Tania! So hard to lose a friend. Thanks for sharing his spunk and shoe love. ?
Tania,
I am so very sorry for your loss. As always, you are in my prayers. Friends are the family we get to choose, so losing them hits just as hard. Hugging you all the way from Texas.
Blessings,
Brandye
((Hugs)) to you, Tania! Your friend had a great smile, and style, by the picture of the shoes. I’m very sorry for your loss! Please accept my condolences.
You look beautiful in every outfit, but it’s hard to top the beautiful red you had on in yesterday’s post.
You all looked SO happy in the New Year’s picture! I’m so sorry for your loss & his families’. I love this outfit – very sedate & warm looking. Your pants always fit so perfectly & mine tend to bunch up around my knees when I wear my knee high boots! I have short legs! I SO wish we had that store in our town!
Oh Tania, I am so sorry for your loss. He will soar high!
Tania, So sorry for the loss of Brad. He looks like such a vibrant person, and yes, I’m sure his soul has soared upward and on. I will say a prayer for all.
And you look great, as always in your outfit! 😉
I love Maurices cami but I feel sorta naked when I wear them like that. Do you wear anything under them??
I’m so sorry for your loss. Unexpected deaths are so difficult to process. My heart goes out to you.
So sorry for your loss! It’s so nice that you have a picture. Very nice choice today, I wear those colors often and it all started because of a camel and grey plaid scarf I have…..lol…..I love your cardigan!
