SIMPLE AND ELEGANT
Today is National Leave A Comment On My Blog day!!! Woohoo! I have been waiting for this day all year. This is the day when whoever is reading this needs to leave a comment and they will be entered into a drawing for a giveaway. Okay, there is no National Leave A Comment On My Blog day, but this is the
6th 8th so that means it is time for a giveaway as I celebrate my blogaversary date. I started blogging on September 6th of 2015. That seems so very long ago, or as my son tells me, “It feels like 5 minutes underwater.” Blogging has been challenging and rewarding in so many ways. I am starting to feel like an oldtimer even though I am still such a newbie. There are all kinds of new words in my vocabulary like widgets, plugins, SEO, linkups, and analytics. I remember the first comment I ever got, I remember my first email subscriber, I remember my first email from a follower, and I still love reading EVERY comment that is left. I have shared my life with you and I hope you have enjoyed the journey so far. And since I started the blog, I have gained many new friends and quite a few business partners.
It is weird to take pictures without a purse because you don’t know what to do with your hands. Lol! You might notice that they are awkwardly placed in these photos. Also, it is about 11 degrees outside, so I am not dallying in taking the pictures. I was just crossing my fingers that there would be a couple I could use.
My earrings are called the Denise, which just happens to be my middle name Haha! I, of course, had to have them before I even knew what they looked like. They are quite sparkly, so I only wear them it I am feeling “dressy.” Joe and I don’t go to very many places where I need to “put on the dog” but I want to have some items to pick from when the chance arises.
This Lindsay necklace has plenty of bling too. It doesn’t show how flashy it is in the pictures, but there are crystals and rhinestones along with pearls. I wear this all the time, even with jeans. It is fun to mix in a little glam in an otherwise casual outfit.
Both of these bracelets are “wowzer!” There are 5 rows of pearls and the round face is encrusted with rhinestones. I like how this Donita bracelet adjusts. It has three links in the back and you just take out what you don’t need. The bracelet on the right is the Georgia. I didn’t order this bracelet for a long time because I thought it was just too over the top. I had to close my last party and open a new one in January. To place an order go to www.plunderdesign.com/party/havefaith As always, I offer a 10% discount on all orders over $50.00 (excluding shipping and taxes.)
I thought I would show you the surprise element. I bought these fun pantyhose at a Halloween store years ago. They remind me of a time gone by. My booties are black Marc Fisher and they are a couple years old. I like the silver buckle accent and the pointy toe.
Now for this sweater dress. I bought this last spring at Belk. They were having a huge clearance sale and I left with several bags of goodies. I thought this was so elegant when I saw the dress and poncho. This dress set is by Nina Leonard and was originally a $100.00. It had been marked down to 24.99 and was on the 75% off rack. They almost gave me this dress. Lol! It is a sweater knit material and the dress has a crew neckline and long sleeves. The poncho is out of the same material and has the fuzziest, softest, pompoms attached. I really like that the dress can be worn by itself, under a jacket or cardigan, and with the poncho. You can also wear the poncho with another look. I think it would look really adorable with blue jeans and a white button-up shirt. What do you think?
If you look close in the photos you can see little snow flurries flying around. I was FREEZING! Now, for the giveaway. You are probably aware that I am trying to grow my Plunder Design and Rodan and Fields business. Some of you are interested and might have some questions but are afraid to ask. Today I am giving everyone the opportunity to ask questions about either company. Wonder if there are minimums, what the commissions are, return policies, etc, just ask. I will answer all the questions and even if you are not interested in either business, those that are will have a wonderful opportunity to read all about the businesses. Siri will pick the winner and the winner gets a $75.00 shopping spree with Plunder. Yes, I use Siri. I tell Siri to pick a random number between 1 and however many comments I have. She picks a number and I count backward till I come to her number. Lol! I will announce the winner on Friday.
Since this is NATIONAL LEAVE A COMMENT DAY I know that I am going to have lots and lots of entries!!! Start asking………
Joining Plunder is 99.00. That is not a huge amount of money for starting your own business but I want to make it even easier. If you join Plunder with me, I will offer to pay half of your kit back to you. If you are interested, then email me for the details at fiftyisnotold@gmail.com.
Joining Rodan and Fields has three levels you can join at. If you join me in my business with at least the 395.00 kit, I will also offer to reimburse you half of your kit back to you. You could start a business and only have 200.00 invested, email me for the details at fiftyisnotold@gmail.com Since Plunder decided to give an incentive to those signing up this month, I will give one for R & F too. If you signup with the 395.00 kit then I will refund you 50.00, the 695.00 kit will get you a 75.00 refund, and the 995.00 kit will get you a 100.00 refund. I have a goal of signing up one new consultant a month and I hope that is you.
Part of my 2017 goals is to grow my subscriber list on the blog. If you are not a subscriber PLEASE take the time to sign. How do you order the Plunder jewelry? I love some of the pieces..Do you have to join or can just order thru you?
Hi Tania; I just found your blog a few weeks ago through Pinterest and started following you, you are the first blogger i have ever followed, but saw so much relatable info that I had to start. I love the way you pull outfits together and you always look great!
I am not 50 yet, but not far from it. Love reading your blog and copying your cute outfits!!
I recently started receiving your emails & won’t go to bed until midnight, when I receive & read yours! I really enjoy you & all you write about. Your personality comes through! Happy Blogaversary.
Enjoy your blog and find it very helpful for inspiratIon, not only fashion but also spiritual.
Keep up the good work!
So, I’m actually a little confused on your R&F Reimbursement. It says you are reimbursing half of the $395 kit so we could start a business with $200 investment. But then the next part says you are giving an incentive of $50 refund on the $395 kit. I’ve actually been debating about whether I want to join or not.
Hi Tania! Love the elegant outfit you have on today. Fancy shmancy! I haven’t commented in quite awhile, but I read your post every day! Do you have home parties to sell Plunder jewelry in order to stay with them or can you sell at your own leisure or not at all? I didn’t know if a minimum is required each month for you to have to sell in order to keep your discount. On another note, congratulations on becoming a NeNe once again! Please keep us all informed along the way. I’m very excited for all of you and maybe Emersyn will become excited too once the baby gets here! ha Have a great week!
This is one of my favorite outfits that you’ve posted. The black dress is so elegant but the pom poms bring our your fun side. You are doing a great job with the blog!
Love the outfit! Does Plunder REQUIRE parties?
Cute poncho!
