SILK AND CHIFFON

I am just going to tell you right now that this is my favorite top that I have ever gotten courtesy of the  Purple Poppy. I have actually had this top for almost a month. When I got it in, I opened it up at work and all the girls there went nuts over this top. I thought I would take it with me to Tennessee when I went for the eclipse party. I intended to have my sister do some real photographs of the top instead of just me posing on my porch. This top is special and I thought it needed some special treatment.
While I was in Tennessee however they experienced a heatwave with temperatures in the high 90’s and I didn’t think that sweat stains under the arms would look very nice. So, I decided I would take the top with me to Flordia instead and do some beautiful photos on the beach. Then, my camera broke and wouldn’t take any photos. It looks like it was just meant to be for me to be on my front porch showing you this beautiful top. This is the Tempo Paris Sequin Top from Purple Poppy. It is made of 100% Seta-Silk, I have no idea what that is but I can tell you that it feels ah-mazing!!! It is so lightweight and super soft against your skin that you will want to sleep in this top. You can see that there is an under layer, and top layer, and then you have the long chiffon layer. I am wearing a size large which fits fine but I probably could have even gone down a size. If in doubt though I always size up. I can take something large in, but if it fits too tight I would have to lose weight and we know how hard that is! I am trying to show you the workmanship of this embroidery and also let you see the clear sequins that are sewn on it. Since they are clear I don’t think that is going to happen. The top does have a sparkle to it though when you walk, a unique detail. When I first saw this top I couldn’t get out of my mind that I wanted it to be dressy/casual. I have been to several events and functions where it called for something dressy but everyone would be wearing jeans. Normally I’d wear an all over sequin top for those type occasions but this is so much nicer. I think that exact scenario will happen when I travel to Charleston for the mini-convention I am going to in October. Guess what is coming along with me. Lol!When you get this top, and I know you will, let me know how you intend to wear it. Date night? Christmas party? New Years Eve? Anniversary??? Where could you see yourself wearing this? And even though it feels soft enough, please don’t tell me that you will not be wearing it to bed. Lol!!!
