50 IS NOT OLD | SHOPPING IN COMFORTOh my, Christmas is almost here! Can you believe it was just the other day that it was Thanksgiving? I’m NOT ready!!! I have not wrapped a package, I have not finished shopping, heck I haven’t even finished making out my list. I know it seems like I am procrastinating, but it has just been so dang hectic that I haven’t gotten anything done. Today is the day. There, I’ve drawn a line in the sand. Today I am finishing my shopping. 50 IS NOT OLD | SHOPPING IN COMFORTI guess the first thing I should do is to finish making out my list and seeing who I am missing gifts for. I have the grandbabies taken care of, so that is a relief. Did you guys see the letter I put on my Facebook page yesterday? My oldest granddaughter, she is 8, had to write her favorite Christmas memory for a school project. Her mother found it in her backpack this morning and sent me a picture.mattiShe is really the sweetest child with the biggest heart. Big tears welled up in my eyes when I read this. She is right, I barely get to visit with them but Matti will always come and spend the night with me when I am in town. The boys could care less the “Nana” is in town, but Matti is always thrilled. The last time I went to Tennessee she didn’t know I was coming to town. I got there in time to go to her gymnastic practice and I spotted her across the gym. I was walking with her other Nana going up the stairs to the upper level and I started waving at her. You could see her looking confused and trying to see who was with her Nana Teresa. The minute she figured it out you could “see” it all over her face. As soon as the practice was over she came running. This may have been the surprise she was talking about in the school paper.50 IS NOT OLD | SHOPPING IN COMFORTMy daughter-in-law, Kayla and I went shopping on Tuesday. We took Emersyn with us who is 3 so I dressed to be on the run. This cowl neck sweater tunic from Susan Graver just fit the bill. It is light and not too bulky, but it kept me warm enough without having to wear a coat. Emersyn had a coat on and we had to take it off every time she got back in the car.

50 IS NOT OLD | SHOPPING IN COMFORTI have on one of my very first Plunder items. It is the Jane necklace and I added the Allison pendant. I love pearls but what I like about this necklace is that it also adds the chain. It doesn’t look to “dressy.” For bracelets, I added the Edith (another one of my first purchases) and the magnetic Hugo bracelet. I have been running some Plunder specials for the ladies who signed up by email and I decided that for the last two days I would let everyone in on the specials. For Saturday and Sunday, any order that is placed over $50.00 (excluding shipping and taxes) I will refund you 15%!!! Go to www.plunderdesign.com/party/50isnotold to shop. 50 IS NOT OLD | SHOPPING IN COMFORTChristmas is not too far away so I needed to wear these leggings while I still could. Lol! Come on gurls, who doesn’t love these bright Santa Claus leggings? Between the long tunic and the high over the knee boots, you can’t see very much of the leggings, but take my word for it, they are cute. Haha50 IS NOT OLD | SHOPPING IN COMFORTThe over the knee boots is by Tommy Hilfiger. I bought them last year, see here, and they have become one of my favorite pair of boots. I think it is the color, I just love this shade of brown. I truthfully worried a little about wearing the otk boots when I first bought them, but now I can’t imagine NOT wearing them. I am so glad I stepped outside my comfort zone. I knew I would be running after Miss Emersyn, so no high heels today. We took her to see Santa Claus, this was her very first time, and she did pretty good. She talked to him and even sat on his lap for about 45 seconds before the tears started. Lol santa

50 IS NOT OLD | SHOPPING IN COMFORTI think I about fell in this picture. I don’t think that little tree was going to hold me up, haha. You can even see my necklace swinging as I was falling. Since I offered by Plunder specials for everyone, I am doing the same for Rodan and Fields. Purchase any combination of items over 80.00 (must be a PC order) and receive an additional 15% off. You will receive 10% off from R & F, and I will refund you an additional 15% for today and tomorrow only!!! Go to www.tstephens5.myrandf.com to use the solution tool or to make a purchase.

What a sweet letter!. There is nothing better than grandchildren. ? Love the outfit – especially the white sweater. It lights your face so pretty.

  2. Oh you must be the cutest Nanna out Tania!

Have a lovely pre Christmas time – I think we are all stressed right now 😉

    xx Yvonne

  3. I love those special moments with my grandkids, too. More precious than any gift.
Your outfit is so cute and festive. Perfect for the day you had.

  4. Tania, I am a Nana to 5, ages 2 to 20, and this to me is always the best. The one that is almost 20 he has grown up so much that Nana dos matter like I use to. But he is my first grandchild and there is a special place in my heart for him, even though I don’t make a difference in them at all. Just remember to enjoy them when they are small because they grow up to fast.
You look so pretty in your shopping outfit. Love your blog.

    1. I know, Dianne. It is hard to believe that Matti is already 8. Time goes by so fast. I think I am going to have this letter put in one of the Atlas necklaces so that I can have it to wear as a keepsake.

  5. I know how you feel about grandbabies. Mine all live so far away. I see them at the most twice a year and miss them all. I love the top you are wearing. Looks cozy. Have a great and productive Saturday!

    Isn’t being a grandmother, Grand?
Love your outfits I get so many ideas from your posts.

  7. Great outfit!! Susan Graver doesn’t disappoint! I usually have problems with finding boots that fit right. Any tips? I finally found a pair by Tommy Hilfiger that were wide calf and fit well. But the search is never ending!!!!

    1. I think boots are right there with jeans. You just have to try them on till you find a pair. I have some that I ordered from the same company and one pair fit and the other didn’t.

  8. What a lovely letter, I hope you get the chance to get together soon ☺️ I did buy some patterned leggings but mine were nowhere near as nice as yours, I’ve ended up wearing them as pyjamas! Love the outfit, especially the boots.

    1. I have a couple Caroline that I wear as pajamas also. Also, I like coming home and changing into a pair of soft leggings and a long sweatshirt to just lounge around in.
