Rain Jackets for Women Over 60 That Look Stylish
Who’s ready for some great outerwear?! Rainy weather will be here before we know it, and let’s face it, finding a rain jacket past 60 isn’t just about staying dry. It’s about looking polished, covering what you want, having useful features, and still feeling like yourself! These picks bring together waterproof fabrics, flattering cuts, hoods that actually work, and some modern style, so you’re not just “weather prepared,” you’re stylish too.
Modern Rain Jackets That Look Stylish and Keep You Dry

I love this classic navy blue color, and please tell me you see that striped lining!? How cute is that? It also has an adjustable waist, and the hood is detachable, so if you want to wear it as a windbreaker, that works, too.
Nordstrom Long Rain Coat
Here’s a modern take on the traditional raincoat. This Long Rain Coat version gives serious protection without overwhelming your frame. The length helps keep more of your outfit dry, especially if you wear dresses or longer skirts. I love that it likely has structured shoulders or a trim silhouette to prevent the coat from looking too shapeless.
- Full-length coverage for better protection
- Clean, structured design that flatters mature body shapes
- Works well over dresses or pants alike
- Makes rainy days feel less like a style compromise
Nordstrom Reversible A-Line Raincoat

- Hooded or structured collar for rain protection

Columbia’s Arcadia line is known for getting the basics right: waterproofing, breathability, hood, you know – things that matter, lol. I’m not sure where the color “Alpenglow” comes from, but it’s lovely. If you want sporty + stylish, this is one to check out.

Here’s a name that is synonymous with good outerwear! North Face always delivers on performance, and this parka would work in serious rain. Adjustable hood, sealed seams, roomy pockets, these matter, especially as we get older and want things that do double duty. Available in several other colors, including a beautiful periwinkle.

I think I need a new jacket. 😊
😀. Love the reversible raincoat. What a great idea!
I have the Amazon coat you show in the first picture and love it. I bought it in a vibrant green (they aren’t showing that one anymore) and get compliments every time. It looks far more expensive than it is and the color choices are great.
🙂 The reversible raincoat is so stylish. I also love the navy with striped hood.
🙂 I like the Lands’ End Squall packable blue rain coat. Lots of great choices.
😀 The Nordstrom beige long coat was my favorite! lots of nice coats to choose from, though.
😊 I like that first navy blue. It’s perfect.
I bought that first raincoat on Amazon in bright blue and I love it! It’s well-made, keeps me dry. and was a reasonable price. I love the striped lining!
