Poncho Series, 5 of 5
It’s a wrap! Not the top, but the series. This is 5 of 5, and we have made it to the end. Are you sick of ponchos yet? I hope you will enjoy this last one.
I love the cable knitting on this poncho. It is the prettiest one that I have worn, at least in my opinion. This poncho is by Inis Crafts and is 100% merino wool. I can’t remember if I bought this at Marshall’s or T J Maxx, but I found it on ebay here. This is a “true” poncho, so you have to wear a shirt or tank top under it. It was warm here, in the high 60’s, so I only have a tank top on.
I pinned a huge pearl brooch to it that I bought at a vintage fashion show. And added a pair of gold Stella & Dot leaf earrings. These earrings have a cute row of rhinestones that run down the center.
I decided to stay with the Stella & Dot theme, and added a leaf gold cuff bracelet. The purse is also Stella & Dot, and is one of my favorites. I carried it almost everyday last year, and I still like it. That is unusual for me, since I get tired of items fast. Most of the time, when I quit carrying a purse, it never comes out of retirement.
The large pearl bracelet is one that I got at Cato’s earlier this fall. I thought it helped to “tie” in the brooch. The leopard print shoes are also from Cato, a last years purchase. Here is a similar paid from Express. These pants are corduroy boot cut, and came from Old Navy.
I hope this post made a little sense. I have just driven for 9 hours, and I might be just a little loopey. I know the trip only takes 6 hours, but a girl has to shop along the way. The sacrifices I make, for you, my readers. Lol!
Today makes two months that I have been blogging. So, you know what that means, a giveaway! I will be giving away a signed copy of my sister’s book, “Last in a Long Line of Rebels”.
