PINK IS ONE OF MY FAVORITE COLORS
I always sing Aerosmith, “Pink is my favorite color”, when I wear an outfit like this. You have to love Steven Tyler, that man looks good even today, and he is 67. Wow, he really would think 50 is not old. Hahaha Maybe that is why pink is one of my favorite colors.
Do you have a FaceBook account? I started mine years ago as a way to keep up with my grandchildren in Tennessee. That would work really well except for one thing. My son hardly ever puts pictures on Facebook. But, even though I don’t get to see those babies a lot, I do get to see a lot of relatives and friends.
A customer was in the store today, and the conversation turned to someone we all knew that had passed away. I saw on FaceBook, is how the conversation started. Has FaceBook replaced the local newspaper for community information? It is much easier to go check out my FaceBook account, than wait on the newspaper to come out, which is only published on Wednesday.
Another conversation in the store today was actually more like a fuss. Bertha was yelling on the radio for one of the guys on the lot. When they didn’t answer, she yelled again. Still no answer so, she yelled, “outside, outside, outside.” I told her to stop, I would go see if their radios were messed up. I was afraid the boss, was going to hear her yelling, and get mad at the boys. A few other words were exchanged, and she threatened to kick my butt! And, I told her to go ahead, I had a blog and was not afraid to use it. Hahaha. Needless to say I did not get my butt kicked. I don’t think she can kick that high. Lol!!!I wanted to show these earrings up close. They were part of the Chloe & Isabel startup kit I received a couple weeks ago. I like that they have little pearls, but what I like the most, is the length. They fall to the perfect spot to show up, even through my hair, and that is not easy. Since this is such a close look, you might as well have a gander at the necklace as well. It is the Aventine Convertible necklace, this is the long look for this necklace. You can see the little bar through the ring, you can take that bar and pull it through the ring and hook it through the ring on the other side. That would make the necklace a choker for a different look.
Here is a nice look at my pale pink ankle pants. They are from Old Navy, and I bought them last year. Here is a pair that is similar, and here (misses) and here (plus size) are pairs from Talbots that look about the same. In fact I bought a pair from Talbots last year, and I thought that was the pair I had on, till I looked at the tag. Here is a pair from Target that come in several colors, including a pink that is GORGEOUS! I need those pants. Haha
So here is a look from the side. And, yes I am trying to suck in. Haha At least you can see my bracelets really well. The one is the matching wrap bracelet to my necklace, and the other one is called the Retro Glam Square-Cut Crystal bracelet. I can’t believe how much this bling bracelet is growing on me. It was not something I would have picked out, but then again, what do I know.
This is a look from the back. I told you I never looked at the back of my hair. I guess if I am going to do “from the back” poses, I am going to have to start fixing the back of my hair. Good grief! And I just saw my cell phone hanging out of my purse. Can’t miss that bright blue case! You will be happy to know that I finally looked in my shoes to see where they came from. I can tell you, I was shocked! They are from Maurices. I did not think I had ever bought any shoes from there. Here is a pair that is more a kelly green, and here is a pair of Merrell’s that look extremely comfortable. Please over look my nasty porch. The water hoses are still unhooked from winter. I told you I lived beside the railroad track. This is the by product:(
I love this pretty pink print top. It is by Violet + Claire, and I have no idea when I bought this, or where. Here and here are two pretty plus size pink blouses, and here and here are two misses blouses. The cardigan I have on is a pretty dark rose color. I bought it at the QVC outlet, and it does not have a label. I don’t know if it is an Isaac Mizrahi, or maybe a Joan Rivers. Here is a similar one, but the color is a brighter color. It would actually work better for summer.
By the way, I went over to the counter, before I left, and measured how high my rear would be. Then I told Bertha to try to kick that spot. Let’s just say, my hiney is going to be safe for a while Lol!

Cute outfit, but I look forward to your stories more than anything. You don’t fail to make me laugh!
Just re-read my post and half of it is missing letters, lol. Promise I only had one glass of wine this evening, lol.
You are such a hoot, love it! My friend and I tease each other all the time, we get a kick out of it. We’ve known each other for 20 years, more like sisters.
