50 IS NOT OLD | PEEK A BOOThis past Sunday my blog post was on letting fear control your life. I soon found out that I was not alone in the worrying and fearing category. I got a huge response from a lot of you gurls telling me that fear has held you back from doing one thing or another. When I got up Sunday morning Joe was already up and playing on the computer. I walked into the kitchen and he asked me, “what are you afraid of?”50 IS NOT OLD | PEEK A BOOIt took me a minute or two to know what he was talking about. He had seen my post on FaceBook and saw that I was talking about fear. After we went to church he went and played golf while I worked on my blog. When he came home he asked me if I wanted to go flying. It was on the tip of my tongue to say no when I remembered my post. He was a little shocked when I said, “sure.” We went to the airport and flew to the next town over and landed. It wasn’t a long flight, just about 10-12 minutes. Then we got back in the plane and flew back home. I was telling Emersyn about going flying and she said she wanted to go too. Then I showed her a couple pictures that I took while we were flying. She said, “Wow, that looks really high. I don’t think I want to go now.” Lol! 50 IS NOT OLD | PEEK A BOO Look at how pretty the mountains are. 50 IS NOT OLD | PEEK A BOO Look at how cute my husband is. Lol!50 IS NOT OLD | PEEK A BOOThis is one of the tops that I bought in Alaska. This is not one that I even picked out for me, this was supposed to have been Ashleighs. After she tried it on she decided it didn’t look good on her and that I could have it. Since I was the one who bought it I thought that was “BIG” of her. Lol!!! This was on the 50% clearance rack, I love a good sale. It is by Karen Kane and I am sure it was last years line. Ask me if I care. Really, did you even have to ask? I keep my clothing for years normally so I don’t care when it came out. Haha!

50 IS NOT OLD | PEEK A BOOLook at the surprise detail in the back. Kind of like a “peek a boo.”
50 IS NOT OLD | PEEK A BOO The Fern earrings are bright cobalt blue. These are super cute and I have been dying to wear them. They are a long rectangle, different than any of the other styles that Plunder has. The short dainty necklace is the Jefra. This is a necklace that I really didn’t think I would like because I don’t normally wear dainty jewelry. However, it is great for layering and for v-neck clothing. Since I had a short necklace on I needed a longer necklace to go with it. The Bella Rose is perfect at 44″ long with gold, silver, and pearls. You could easily double this necklace. The Bella Rose has a matching bracelet called GailPlunder doesn’t say they match, but I say they do. Lol! The Gail has a large gold plate that says HOPE and two strands of dangling pearls and crystals. Go to www.plunderdesign.com/taniastephens to shop and choose any party that has my name in it. 50 IS NOT OLD | PEEK A BOO The other bracelet I have on is called the Stephanie. I love how the gold and the pearls are mixed. On some of the pearls, the gold is up around the sides, this is very pretty and it is adjustable. 50 IS NOT OLD | PEEK A BOO I thought a neutral pair of shoes would be best with this outfit. The bright colors and the print in the blouse is enough to draw the attention so these ivory espadrilles got called into action. This is a cute little pair with a tiny bow (unique detail) on the top. They are by Isaac Mizrahi and I bought them last year at the overstock store in town.

50 IS NOT OLD | PEEK A BOOIf I was going to wear bright blue earrings I needed to wear some bright blue pants. Does everybody have a pair of cobalt blue pants in their closet? Good gurls. Lol! This pair is by Van Heusen and I have another pair almost identical from Old Navy. A gurl can never have too many bright blue pants. Lol!

I just bought a shirt in cobalt blue with the peekaboo back it is so “cool”!! lol On fear, I always give everyone else the quote I was told a long time ago,( I just need to follow it) “FACE YOUR FEAR AND IT WILL DISAPPEAR”! Now I have to go about trying it myself!! LOL Thanks for sharing.

  6. Sadly, I do not own bright blue pants. I’ve always shyed away from bright bottoms. (speaking of fears…)
