MY ONE YEAR RODANNIVERSARY

This has been one crazy ride. This is a day I never expected to celebrate or even acknowledge. I simply wanted to look the best that I could and that is why I started a blog. Clothing and fashion have a tremendous effect on your attitude and I noticed that women in their 40’s, 50’s, and older struggled in this area. Women tend to put their family’s needs before their own and so they lose their identity. We become someone’s wife and mother, and we are no longer an individual.At some point, we have our families raised and we take a look in the mirror and don’t recognize the person staring back. What happened to the cute girl that dressed to impress, wore makeup, and got her hair and nails done? Styles have changed though and it is not always easy to look nice and not look frumpy, sloppy, or like a teeny-bopper. My sister encouraged me to start a blog to help women with their fashion choices and I did that one Saturday even though I never expected anyone to ever read it. I figured it would be a great “lookbook” for me to see what looked good and what were misses. This is me in October 2015 when I first started blogging.

The funny thing about having your picture taken daily is that you really start to notice all the spots and lines. I had been seeing a lot of posts on Facebook about Rodan and Fields and I looked into the products but I didn’t order because I worried that I wouldn’t “use” the products. That had actually been a pattern for me in the past. I signed up with another company in the past because of the cosmetics. I bought all their skincare products and tried to get in the habit of using them nightly. That lasted about 2 or 3 months but I couldn’t see any changes at all and soon quit. My friend sold another product and offered to let me buy the products at cost so I bought all of their nightly products but the very same thing happened. No visible results! Maybe you see my dilemma. A friend of mine posted on facebook one day that she had been using Rodan and Fields for 3 months and she posted her results. She wasn’t selling the products, she was just thrilled with the results. I called my Energizer Bunny Friend and told her to order me the Reverse Regimen. After two weeks I was seeing results and after a month I was hooked. That was May 23, 2016! She asked me if I was going to sell the products and I said, “no way!” I only wanted the discount and that was it, period! Then the comments started coming in June. This was the first comment that I got:

Tania, in the last week or so you have appeared to “glow” in your photo! Did you change makeup or change the lighting for your photos?

I had no idea what they were talking about. I said, “thanks” and simply forgot about the comment. Then came these:

Girl, you look AMAZING! Lately, you’ve been glowing ?

You look positively glowing today! I have to say that looking at older photos of you and comparing (for lack of a better word) them to more current photos, your skin, especially around your eyes, looks fantastic! Perhaps that potion of lotion that you are selling really does work !! Anyway, it sure is working for you, as you seem to be getting younger!

Tania, you’re looking amazing. I’ve noticed in recent posts that your skin is glowing, luminous, just beautiful. i hope you won’t take this the wrong way but I checked out 2015 October post and you look younger today. I think I’m going to check out that line of beauty products you’ve mentioned. Can’t hurt, might help ?
