50 IS NOT OLD | OFF THE SHOULDER STYLEHi, everyone!!! Are you getting sick of seeing my San Diego pictures? I actually thought I had more of them but I can’t find much more. It seems like you are taking lots of pictures when people are walking by staring at you. But, when it is time to put them on the blog there are not enough to choose from. I only have one more day of pictures from SD and then it is back to the boring porch. After seeing all the beautiful scenery and lush green it makes the porch look kind of blah. 50 IS NOT OLD | OFF THE SHOULDER STYLEI bought this top while I was in San Diego last week. This one is “very” similar and much cheaper. I loved the blue and white striped print. It reminded me of the seersucker outfits that I used to dress my kids in when they were young. I thought I would love the extra string at the shoulder so that you didn’t have to worry about the top pulling or falling down. Turns out that I hated the string! Every time I moved my arms and the top ended up raising up on the shoulders the strings would “pooch” up. I think I will probably end up cutting them off. 50 IS NOT OLD | OFF THE SHOULDER STYLEI didn’t wear much jewelry with this outfit. I only wore my Ashton earrings and a few bracelets. The Dixie bracelet is new to me, I only got it last week. It looks like a bunch of arrows and the really cool thing is that it is a matte finish and it is elastic. That makes it easy to put on and take off. The only problem I had with this bracelet is that I would occasionally get one of the arrows out of place and would have to re-straighten the bracelet. Not exactly a big problem. The other two bangles are some I wear often, the Aisha (My Faith Is Bigger Than My Fears) and the Shasta (Pray). This is the last week to take advantage of a 15% off discount check from me for every over $50.00 (excluding tax and shipping). New party ALERT!!! I closed my last party and opened a new one. I bet you can guess what the name is….www.plunderdesign.com/party/tania550 IS NOT OLD | OFF THE SHOULDER STYLEHere is the dreaded behind shot. You gurls better appreciate this shot. I really hate showing this angle, it is not my best side. This top was bad to billow and look like I was pregnant. I had a picture where it was all sticking out but I couldn’t find it. I really wanted to show you that picture, it was hilarious!

Found it! Now you can see why it was in my “trash” folder. Ha!

50 IS NOT OLD | OFF THE SHOULDER STYLEI love white jeans. I never used to wear white at all but once I started wearing white I can’t wear it enough. I swear I could wear white almost now every day. If you are like I was, break over right now and go buy a pair. White will go with anything and you can now wear white all year around.

I warned you that I would look like crap in these pictures. My makeup is virtually gone and my hair is horribly flat.

No I am not tired I love your style you inspired me . You look wonderful .

  2. What type of bra did you wear with this top?

You look great! thanks for the tip about white jeans. I have never owned a pair in my life but I read somewhere that every woman should have a pair in her wardrobe and you just reinforced that, so next time I go shopping I’m going get myself a pair. They will go with so many different tops!

  4. Your trip looked so fun. And you look adorable, yes, including the behind shot, too! 😉 (You’re far too tough on yourself. You truly look good.)

Tania! I have thoroughly enjoyed your San Diego photos and outfits! I don’t see the off the shoulder look to last, as everyone I have talked with has had trouble with the positioning of the elastic and it staying put. I have purchased two such tops and that will be my limit because of that – I don’t like wearing things that constantly need adjusting.
    BTW, Welcome home!

  6. I have to apologize…I am seeing you DO say the brands and where you buy from. Sorry for the other reply.

  7. I love this pretty top on you, Tania! The bell sleeves with the lace and fringe details are gorgeous! I love how you paired it with white jeans. You look beautiful!

  8. Well first of all, you do not look like crap. Your hair still has some fluff and your skin looks amazing!!! The outfit you have on today is super cute! Love the top, especially the sleeves. It is kind of funny how the top has a “pregnant” shape to it… be sure to wear it around Grundy to get people talking! hahaha Like that Bonnie Raitt song “Let’s Give Them Somethin’ To Talk About”. lol Seriously though, I’m so glad you had a safe trip and a great time with your sister. Blessings!

I have a question for you about the off the shoulder blouse, they are everywhere and I think they are a super cute spring look, but I HATE strapless bras any ideas for what to wear underneath instead?
