NORTH TO ALASKA
What a LONG day I had yesterday. We set the alarm for 5:00 am so that we could hit the road to start our journey by 6:00 am. How many of you know what happened next? If you said that we overslept you would be wrong. Lol! Instead, the opposite happened and our eyes flew open at 4:15 am ready to start the day. We managed to get dressed, eat, and load the car all by the time 6:00 rolled around which has to be a first for us. Haha!
Joe drove for the first hour and a half before he decided that it was my turn. Translation: he was sleepy. Lol! He laid the seat back and nodded off for a good nap. Just after he closed his eyes I just happened to drift over to the edge of the road and hit that strip that is intended to wake you up. It could have been an accident, I am not saying for sure. Lol!!!
I actually wore this outfit a couple of weeks ago because I was chilly and I wanted a sweater. This is exactly the same type outfits that you will see me wearing for the next week while I am visiting my daughter. Most of the outfits will have a sweater or jacket over the top of a sleeveless top so if you are in a hot spot of the country just think about deleting that item. The overall look will probably be the same. I bought the sleeveless mustard colored LOGO top and the long cardigan by Lisa Rinna at the overstock store in town. I loved how they looked together and even though they are classic fall colors I still wanted to wear them in the summer. The asymmetrical hem top comes in a wide variety of colors, just click on the highlighted link of see all of them.
The long marbled duster cardigan is by Lisa Rinna and it comes in three colors. I had previously bought the blue one (here) and I loved it way more than I thought I would. When I saw this bronze one I grabbed it. I will get a lot of wear from this once fall rolls back around.
I want to remind you that Rodan and Fields still have the fantastic offer of 20% off the purchase of any Regimen and Lash Boost combo. I do not like distressed jeans. I think it is ridiculous and almost shows disrespect to those who did wear them because they had no choice. But to each his own! I just think clothing without holes looks so much nicer.
Judy, that is why you can make your own choice. There is no disrespect intended toward anyone, it is a fashion statement and nothing else.
LOVE your outfit! You look wonderful! We have a similar style, but you always punch it up a notch or two! Have a fun and safe trip!
Diana, that is what accessories do, they give everything a PUNCH!
I absolutely love this outfit! Fall colors have always been my favorite! It might be kind of hard to wear the whole outfit in Texas during the summer, but probably could around December! LOL! Hope you are having a great time! Happy Monday!
Haha, I don’t see you wearing this is Texas for a while. Lol!
best of travels!!!
Thanks, Donna!
Love this outfit Tania! I’m always hesitant to wear long tunics because they make me look pregnant (at 65, that’s not a good thing!) – I’m large busted so they fall away from my body a bit too much. But this, this is a great way to wear the shark bite long tunic!
I understand, my sister and daughter have the same issues. I love the duster though because it helps to camouflage some of the problems.
Love this outfit for fall!! Next time can you mention weather the size you purchase was true to size or you had to go up or down.
I shopped QVC a lot but some deaigners I am unsure if the size and sontvwant to mess with returns. Thanks
Vicki, when I buy from QVC I always size down. I normally buy a large but with their items, I can wear a small and medium.
Tania as I have said before I love your style and I have received great tips on how I can freshen my style up. Tania with all of that being said I am top heavy and cannot wear some of the styles of clothing that you wear, are they any bloggers that you know of that are top heavy that have a similar style as you. I could take tips from both of you. I am 53 years old and as you do I would still like like to dress ” youthful ” . I have a six year old grandson but I am not ready for the ” grannny look” yet. Lol!! Your style is just what I am looking for.
Gwendolyn, I don’t know any bloggers that are chesty. You might try Jo-Lynne Shane, she is in her 40’s.
These colors are some of my favorites. Great look Tania!!! ~Lisa~
I loved the color combination too, Lisa!
Love this look! Quick question, Did the Logo top run large or true to size?
Yes, I usually by a smaller size.
This is such a cool look Tania! I’m not a big fan of distressed jeans myself, but they look fab on you and I would happily wear everything else in this outfit with different jeans. I love the necklace and the little leopard pumps are just so cute!!
That is what I love about fashion, Tania. You take items and make them your own, it doesn’t matter what others like, this is about you and your style.
Love this outfit Tania – I have a pair of ballerinas just like that. They have a huge sentimental value to me as they are the last shoes my Dad bought me before he passed away – he was always super cute like that.
