Need a little mustard?
Mustard is one of the “hot” colors this fall. It is in all the stores, and I couldn’t be happier. I love this color! It works so well with most shades of blue and looks great with black. Here I decided to wear it with a new pair of pants I bought Saturday.
The print looks black in this photo, but it is navy. I bought these at the street festival I went to on Saturday at a little online boutique. They are cute and very soft and silky. Also, they are extremely long. I had a really hard time trying to show the shoes I was wearing. The shoes are my favorite Michael Kors espadrilles. They are several years old, but I still love them. The mustard colored ruched turtleneck is from Versona and comes in several colors. It is really soft and feels wonderful while you are wearing it. If it washes well, I am going to buy one in nutmeg.
I chose to wear a nautical theme large scarf that I picked up last year at Old Navy. I have never mastered the whole mixing of patterns trend. The purse is an older B. Makowsky that I dug out of the closet this morning.
I just noticed there is a stain on the corner. Shoot, I bet that won’t come out. I’m going to top it with baking soda and see if it will come out. I’ll let you know if that works.
Maybe I should order the ketchup shirt too. I could have a whole condiment section of shirts. Anybody hungry?
Love the way you brought the attention back to your face with the scarf! Now this is how to wear patterned pants! So many try and just look like they forgot to change out of their pajamas.
Lol!!!
I really like this outfit! You look stunning.
Thanks SC 🙂
you look lovely, I really like the shoes too. Thank you for sharing at the Thursday Favorite Things blog hop. Watch for your feature on Monday. Hugs!
P.S. I couldn’t get your social icons to work 🙁
Thanks Katherine for hosting Thursday Favorite Things. I enjoy looking at the different items. The social icon problem looks like another item to tackle on the blog newbie scale:(
I just love this look! Thank you so much for joining in the fun at Thursday Favorite Things Blog Hop!
I love these collaboration challenges. It gives you soooo many different sites to look at, that you might never have come across. I really like your site, it might even inspire me to do a little cooking.
I really like the way you paired the mustard top with the blue and white. Really pretty and honestly, I’m not a big fan of mustard but I really like this outfit.
Thanks On Hayden Lane! I love mustard, but was afraid it would clash with my hair, so that is the reason for the scarf. I felt like it needed a little something to break up the colors.
