NAVY AND BLACK
I can feel summer in the air or maybe it is just wishful thinking on my part. I started thinking the other day about summer and how if sure does differ as an adult versus when you were a child. I remember one year that we moved to Kentucky over the summer. My father was a supervisor for some company that was building a hospital and it was going to take all summer long to get it built. He had been staying in Kentucky through the week and coming home on the weekends. When school was out for the summer we decided to rent a trailer and move to Kentucky so that we could be wth him through the week and he wouldn’t have to travel.
I think I was going to be going into the 6th grade that year and my sister was going to be in the 1st. We lived in a little trailer park and there were lots of other children for us to play with. I can remember riding my bicycle, the kind with a wicker basket on the front and a banana seat, all around the cul de sac. When it would start to get dark you would have bats start swooping down and that scared me to death. That meant it was time to go in the house. When it was really hot we would play under the trailer. It must not have had underpinning, at least it didn’t in the back. We built dirt roads and played with our dolls and cars for hours. Do kids still do things like this or do they now build roads on computers?
This was the outfit I wore the day I was traveling to Florida. I always try to pick something that I know will be comfortable because it is bad enough having to travel, you sure don’t want to be uncomfortable too. This tunic/dress is one that I bought at Old Navy a couple weeks ago. It is the swing dress style but this is the first one that I have bought that has the ribbed material. I thought the dress was black and was surprised when I went outside to take my pictures and could then tell it was dark navy. Lol! Even when I was in the store I thought it was black. ?

I know you might be getting tired of seeing me tell you about the incentive that R+F is offering this month. Actually, there are two incentives, one is they are offering 40 Free Mini Facials to anyone who signs up with a business kit by Friday. I want to make sure that you don’t miss this date if you are interested at all. That is a 200.00 value and 40 conversation starters. Secondly, everyone who purchases a regimen this month will get a free 3-day sample of the new Hydration Serum. WooHoo!!! Two incentives and I am not the one having to offer them. Lol! I received my Chalana necklace today and it is prettier than the pictures!!!!! I highly recommend it!
I think that navy and black actually look great together! You look darling!
You look cute; love the dress. You always keep it real and yes, we do appreciate that about you.
I love this outfit. I ordered this one, and the one from yesterday! When I try to click on the Chalana, it takes me to the Old Navy site. I would like to order that necklace. Can you give me the link so that you will get credit for it? Thanks!
Lol…omg I did this just the other day…shirt had a few colors….thought it had black in it, wore black pants…got to work walking in and realized it was navy!!
I am going to go to Old Navy today and check out this cute dress! I LOVE the “Hustle” necklace! Is that a Plunder too? Prob retired….just my luck. I have ordered several Plunder items in the past. Need to check out the new stuff. Have a great weekend!
lol…Tania I sometimes do the same, have a hard time distinguishing navy and black. Isn’t that top comfortable? I have the same one, only mine isn’t the ribbed version. Love that this swing dress can be also worn as a top. Very flattering! Have a wonderful weekend!
