My Favorite Ankle Strap Sandals In Stores Now
Ankle strap sandals aren’t just pretty; they can also increase stability! No one wants to walk down the street and have their shoes fly off. Talk about a fashion misstep, Lol. Today, I’m sharing my favorite ankle strap sandals in stores now. Gurls, get your pedicures done. We’re stepping out in style!
I love these fabulous neutral Espadrille Wedge Sandals; they will go with everything. I can’t wait to wear them with shorts or dresses. The ankle buckle closure gives a secure fit that keeps the shoes from slipping around.
Okay, I have to confess that I dislike shoes with straps around the leg. They tend to pull when you walk UNLESS the strap is loose enough to move. This pair works because the strap isn’t tacked together in the back, so each strap can move as you walk. You might have an issue with this, but it bugs me. My sister, however, loves shoes with leg straps.

If you’re looking for a sandal that combines comfort with classic style, the Amazon Essentials Women’s Casual Thong Sandal might be your new go-to for the summer. With its adjustable ankle strap and plush memory foam insole, it promises ease and support through all your day’s activities—perfect for women of a certain age who cherish both comfort and chic style. The faux leather finish and subtle dip-dyed effect give it a sophisticated look that can transition effortlessly from a casual day out to an evening gathering. Plus, the slight heel and non-slip sole ensure stability as you’re walking.
Aren’t these pretty? I don’t think you can go wrong with a simple black sandal. The gold and black just look elegant, but they would be OK with jeans, too. The soft insole and durable non-slip rubber outsole offer a comfortable and secure step, making them ideal for everything from city strolls to beachside gatherings. With a variety of colors to choose from, these are a great deal.

You can’t go wrong with a crisp white sandal! Like the others, the straps are adjustable, and the sole includes memory foam. If you aren’t a fan of white, there are several others, including silver and gold. These have a great rating and are super affordable. That’s hard to beat!
I love the tie strap on these sandals. When I was little, I had a pair of sandals with ties that went all the way up to my knee in a crisis cross pattern. Did I think I was the stuff? YES, I DID! These don’t go to my knees, but it’s still a cute detail. They’re available in a gorgeous red and a fun leopard, too!
I’m a big fan of platform sandals. They provide height without putting pressure on the ball of the foot like heels. I love the espadrille sole and the snakeskin pattern! The link has ten options. Depending on the pattern you choose, these range slightly in price, but they are all very affordable.
I’ve bought many Madewell items over the years and I’ve always been pleased. Sporting a woven trim that adds a touch of earthiness to its platform sole, this sandal in the stylish Desert Camel color is perfect for those getaway vibes. Designed for comfort and versatility, this shoe features an adjustable ankle strap and a hidden elastic inset to ensure a great fit. VERY chic.

Step up your style game with the Ilsie Ankle Strap Sandal from Sam Edelman. This boho-inspired sandal features a distinctive signature logo appliqué on a beautifully woven upper. Available in chic shades like Sand/Rich Cognac and Modern Ivory/Dark Natural, it’s an ideal sandal for those who appreciate a blend of comfort and high-end fashion. These would look amazing with jeans or some white cropped pants.
If you don’t like straps that circle the ankle, perhaps a slingback sandal is more to your liking. This chic sandal features decorative disks, a classic center-toe post, and an adjustable slingback strap, making it as functional as it is fashionable. Offered in a lovely ivory, these sandals are crafted with a leather upper and lining, plus a rubber sole for comfort.
Oooh, I love the gold details on these sandals! They are available in several other colors, even gold, but this contrast is one of my favorite combinations. The gleaming gold GUESS logo stands out nicely. That part of the shoe is called the “vamp.” FYI, I also like the gold around the heel. You know I like getting my money’s worth so having a shoe that can be dressed up or down in a big plus!

I don’t need more shoes. I don’t need more shoes. I don’t need more shoes. AAAGHHHH!!! The struggle!
You can NEVER have enough shoes! Lol. Throw out an old pair and try something new.
I’m really digging the black and gold! 🤗
The platforms are my favorites!
Casual supportive sandals please
Cute sandals. I see one of them comes in a beautiful aquamarine shade.
Had a pedicure and ready for summer weather.
Cute sandals, but could you show a collection with some arch support. Unfortunately, as I age I need function over style. 😕
Those are coming up soon.
I love a sandal with an ankle strap. Apparently, the only thing about me that is skinny are my heels. I just cannot keep a slingback sandal on my foot.
It never fails. The ones I like the most are the most $$$
Welcome to my world too! Lol!
Great sandals again!
