LOOKING EFFORTLESSLY STYLISH DURING THE HEAT OF SUMMER

Who has time to put a lot of effort into getting dressed each day? Most of you would think that I put a lot of thought and effort into my daily outfits, but you would be wrong. The time and effort go into the purchases, the outfits are just a by-product.

Ways to Look Effortlessly Stylish
Looking effortlessly stylish comes easily if you buy items in the same color family. Also, if you have a lot of neutrals, then it becomes easier to put outfits together. Some neutrals that I style all of the time are white, black, navy, gray, camel, and ivory. You can branch out from those neutrals with charcoal, olive, dusty pink, and chocolate. Those colors will go with almost anything, so you can play with prints that contain at least one of those shades.

My sleeveless linen top is a great example of making a wise choice. The predominant color of the top is white, so it obviously will look great with white. But, it also contains navy and camel, so it will look great with those colors also. Jeans are neutrals in a category all by themselves because any color or print looks great with them.

The seam above the hemline has on-seam front pockets for a fun, casual touch, and who doesn’t love the cute elephant print??? The top is 100% linen, so it will be cool in the summer. You can easily add a cardigan or jacket to the look to transition it into fall. I think the top runs true to size, and I am wearing a medium. However, if you are between sizes, then I would suggest sizing up instead of down.

I styled these jeans in an Inside the Dressing Room post, and you gurls loved them so much that I ended up buying them. The cute fringe detail was what everyone loved, and I have to agree with you. I had originally left them in the store, so I ordered them online instead. Lol! Hey, I am supposed to be the influencer here. Hahaha
I did size down in this pair of cropped jeans because they have a lot of stretch to the material. They might get loose after you’ve worn them for a while, so sizing down works for that reason. I am wearing an 8 instead of my usual size 10.

Adding the camel crossbody to my look really pulls the outfit together. This leather crossbody is so cute and the perfect color for now and later. It is big enough to carry my essentials, and I can keep it close to my body by wearing it in the crossbody style. Notice how the camel color in the crossbody plays nicely with the camel in the print of the top!

An outfit is not complete without accessories. The accessory that is the most noticeable would be my Ray-Ban sunglasses. These are a nice medium size for me, and they are 54mm in size. The pair that I am wearing is the Havana/Polarized Brown Gradient. These have become my everyday glasses, and I love the protection they offer. These have built-in nose prongs which I prefer since I am terrible to use my sunglasses as a headband. I don’t recommend doing that since it can stretch them out.
My jewelry is the AVI large hoop earrings and the Rebecca Multi-strand necklace in white howlite. A multi-strand necklace is another way to have an effortless style. The necklace has done the hard work for you when it comes to layering jewelry. Buying multi-strand necklaces make you look like a pro at layering.
The last part of my outfit is my neutral espadrille shoes. These espadrilles look great with so many things, and I have worn them so much this summer! Even though these have a 3 3/4″ heel, I find them very comfortable to wear for a long period of time. They run true to size, and they are also available in navy, black, and a two-tone color.
Speaking of accessories, I did a new YouTube video on Thursday, and I would love it if you watched it and shared it if you found it to be helpful.

I hope you have enjoyed this effortlessly stylish outfit. Be sure to let me know your thoughts.

I didn’t know you had a youtube channel! I just subscribed. I liked the recent Talbots haul post.
Love the outfit!
Hi Tania, thanks for sharing. You look great!
Can you tell me about the rise on the white fringed jeans from today’s post? I normally prefer a higher rise
Totally Love the Outfit, that’s my style. Also, love the Country Scenery background!
That is at Foxberry Farms in Georgia. It was a gorgeous place to take photos.
Super cute outfit! Just my style!
I thought it was a cute outfit!
I am new to your site and love it! Thanks for posting the sizes that you wear. It is so helpful. I appreciate the scriptures. 😊
I got used to posting about my height and size quickly when I started blogging. Lol!
Does anyone else have trouble reading your posts? The menu part extends down so far on my computer and the ad at the bottom comes so far up that I only have about 3″ to read and at my age (72) find it difficult sometimes. What am I doing wrong?
Love this outfit especially love the fringed jeans. Ordered the crossbody bag too. Love that it can be used year round.
Judy, the crossbody is such a great size also!
This is very cute. I did notice the color of the bag was picked up from the top. Can’t wear the shoes but I have a cute pair of sandals.
Take inspiration from the outfit, and make it work for you.
Great outfit…and I am loving that necklace.
Thanks, Dee! I love this outfit also.
