LIGHTWEIGHT IS THE KEY
I was just talking to a friend the other night about FaceBook. She had mentioned that she was private and protective of the information that she put on there. I understand where she was coming from since you never know who is looking at your content. I laughed though and told her that she should try being a blogger. My life is pretty much an open book and I have people all over the world looking at me.
I tend to think that everyone is like me. That means that you would rather play on the computer then clean house. That means that whatever you tell me is the truth with no ulterior motive. That means that shopping is in your blood. Yep, we are all sisters here on the blog. My mother used to tell me and my sister that if she just kept quiet long enough that we would tell her everything that we knew. Who knew that we were in training? She is a writer and I am a blogger. It would appear that we both picked the perfect outlet for our gift of gab. Lol!
Lightweight is the key to wearing kimonos, jackets, or cardigans at this time of the year. It is cooler in the mornings and evenings but it can get pretty hot during the day. I like to wear a tank top or sleeveless tops during this time and then add something lightweight as a topper to help keep me warm but not make me HOT. I bought this cardigan/kimono at Trendy Threads, the local boutique that I frequent way too often. I am a sucker for gray and mustard so this was a no-brainer. I even bought some leggings in the same green color to wear with this later on. I don’t think I have ever worn green pants so that will be interesting. As it gets cooler outside I can wear this over a long sleeved shirt and it will look just as
cute.
I am just loving the fall line of jewelry from Plunder. I have gotten 2 orders in already and I have one more of the way. I love gold jewelry anyway and I think it looks fabulous with all the fall colors. I have on the Davina necklace and the Jaycee earrings. The mustard yellow sleeveless tank crepe shirt if from Van Heusen that I bought a couple of years ago. I am a fan of this mustard color, it is not like wearing a bright yellow. I find it a little easier to wear close to my face. I went with a black pair of jeans today. This pair is from Karen Kane. I love the clothing items that I have from Karen Kane, they seem to last forever. And the last items I have on is my dark gray studded gladiator sandals. This pair has a very pointy toe which helps to elongate your leg. If you wear a round-toed shoe it makes your legs appear shorter.
What happens on the last day of the month??? Lots of exciting things when it comes to Rodan + Fields. I have had 5 ladies join my team this month, over 30 PC orders placed, and 2 ladies hit a promotion. I truly love this company and all it stands for. I feel like it helps women feel better about themselves with a new found confidence in the way they look and it has given so many women an income and allowed them to stay at home. Susan, you don’t have to do anything special. You just go to http://www.plunderdesign.com/taniastephens and then hit the Plunder Opportunity tab. Don’t login if you have an account already. It will walk you through the steps. As far as the Posse goes, unless they have sold out of this month’s Posse, I have no idea what would be that issue.
