LEATHER CUFF BRACELET THAT IS FEMININE

Do the words leather and feminine go together? I have to admit when I think of leather, the first things that come to mind are usually belts, shoes, or purses. I have a few leather bracelets, but they are the masculine type that you wear with jeans and a plaid shirt. I even have one that is made from an old belt.So, when Cheryl from Jewels of the Vineyard contacted me, I was interested but not over the top thrilled. My first thought was, “Sure, I could use another leather cuff bracelet.” The email sat in my box for a day or two before I got around to looking at her site. My mouth gaped open at the beautiful creations she hand made. I am not kidding you, when you visit her site you better have a little time to spend, because you will want to look at EVERYTHING!

I love it when narrowing down your choice is hard. I kept going from one bracelet to the other. She has so many colors and styles to choose from, and they all scream feminine. She uses leathers from Spain, Greece, and Italy, and beads from all over the world. Cheryl is a true artist! It is just hard for me to wrap my mind around the fact that she actually hand made my bracelet, it is that good.

I finally narrowed my choices down to two. I am styling one of them today, and the other one will soon follow. She didn’t ask me to post so soon, I was just anxious to wear them. This one is from the Oakville Collection and is called the Large Leather Cuff Bracelet. It is comprised of 4 different leathers, in a couple different sizes. The two wider straps are solid colors of light blue and white, while the two smaller straps are quite a bit more decorative. One strap is white and covered in tiny white pearl looking beads and the other is a strap that looks like it has scales. Three of the stone slides have a pearlescent look, while the fourth one is comprised of tiny faceted crystals. 

The topping on the cake is it has a magnetic closure. If you are like me, that is BIG! I hate trying to put on bracelets, especially with my fingernails, that don’t have a magnetic closure. Each bracelet comes with its on polishing cloth and drawstring pouch for storing. These are high quality bracelets. The website does not do them justice, they are waaaaay more beautiful in person. That code will be good till May4th!I couldn’t wait to wear this bracelet so I picked out a top that I thought would go with it. This light turquoise front tie top is by New Dimension, and I picked it up a month or so ago at Belks. They have the best sales, you just have to wait for them. This was already marked down half-price, and then you take another 25% off of that. I hate it when they twist my arm. Lol! Here is a similar one in misses, and one is plus size. The pants are very old. They have a linen feel and look, but not the wrinkles of real 100% linen. Here is a pair of dress pants that come in several colors and sizes. Sorry, I could’t find a pair like mine. The Marc Fisher shoes are a pair I have worn several times already this year. (Here and here) I really like the wedge style, the gold rings, and the color. They go with everything, and look so casual and still dressy at the same time.I am carrying my caramel brown Dooney & Bourke purse. I haven’t carried it in a while, and it looked sad. I just hate a sad purse. Even though the browns are not the same in the shoe and the purse, they still “go” together. There is even a little brown in my Chloe & Isabel necklace if you look close.
