It is casual Friday today! Some of you have mentioned before that Fridays were the day to go casually dressed. I work at a lumber company so any day could be casual for me. However, I know that places like the bank might only let you wear jeans on a Friday. I try to mix up my outfits and wear something for a wide variety of women. I do get emails occasionally telling me that they prefer casual clothing, office-appropriate clothing, dressier outfits, wear more vintage clothing, and only items that are currently in the stores. Lol! As you can guess, it is impossible to make “everyone” happy. But, just like I am an includer, I am also a people-pleaser. When I get an email requesting something then I try to jump through hoops to make it happen. Some of you have said that you would like to see Joe more on the blog but that one I can’t make happen. Lol! He just won’t take pictures on a regular basis and when he does they can’t always be used. Lol! I do want to continue to grow my blog so I am open to suggestions. I can’t believe I just said that because I am liable to get my feelings hurt. So, what would you like to see more of, what would you like to see me change, what type clothing would you like to see me style more, what interests you most about the blog, what stores do you like the best, and how long have you been reading? You know that I am going to have a give away for those who contribute. Lol! I will giveaway a Kate Spade bangle on Monday so be sure to contribute today and tomorrow and then check back on Monday to see who the winner is. BTW, saying “do more giveaways” is not a valid response. Hahaha!Today I am just trying to stay warm. When you wake up to 12-degree temperatures you might want to layer your clothing. I know a lot of you live in way colder places than me so you can feel free to weigh in on that. I added this navy and fuschia pink lightweight puffer vest from Crown & Ivy. I don’t normally wear the big puffer vests but will instead choose the lightweight versions because I don’t want the added bulk around my waistline. However, if I lived in a colder climate then I wouldn’t care if my waist was thicker, I would dress like a Polar Bear if it kept me warm. This vest is several years old but there are a lot of styles to choose from.
I love the Shaila earrings. These pearl studs are really large and show really well even with longer hair. I told you yesterday that you could wear pearls with jeans so I thought that I would style them that way. I have the Lottie necklace on again today and I love the versatility. I have even added a pendant to this necklace for a different look. The bracelet is the Valerie and it has tiny pearls attached to an elastic bracelet. It has some movement and it is really pretty. I ordered 500.00 in Plunder jewelry the other day! I have decided to up the ante. From the 15th of the month until the last day of January, when you order at least 75.00 (excluding taxes and shipping) you will get ONE additional piece of jewelry from me. But, if you order at least 125.00 (excluding taxes and shipping) then you will get TWO items from me! January is the month to make your purchases!!! Go to plunderdesign.com/taniastephens to place an order and be sure to pick a party with my name on it. I haven’t carried the Vera Bradley handbag for a while but I love this bag. The pop of color just brightens my day. This bag is the Ella and it is leather. I didn’t even know that Vera had leather bags. You don’t have to buy a Vera or even a bright pink purse but I do think that a colorful purse is fun to own. My suede ankle boots by Isaac Mizrahi have become my go-to shoes this fall. It is so funny how I had these shoes last years and probably only wore them once or twice. I believe I wear them once or twice a week now. Since the shoes stayed the same I can only surmise that my taste has changed. That is the reason that you should be open to trying new things. Just because you have always done something one way doesn’t mean that you always have to do it that way. I love my Diana jeans by Kut From The Kloth. I had never tried this brand until I got these in one of my Trunk Club shipments. Remember that I don’t have a lot of shopping opportunities where I live so I am not familiar with brands that you might see all the time. This pair fits me like a glove and they are my normal size of a 10. The link I added for the jeans takes you to where they are on sale right now for 50% off. GO NOW!!!I love sharing my love of Rodan + Fields with you. I love the emails that I get from ladies telling me how they have gotten comments and compliments on their face and how it has increased their confidence levels. I started the blog with the hope that I could help women who were struggling with their wardrobe and Rodan + Fields helps with their skin concerns. However, if you don’t like to read about this part of my life, I understand. That is why I put this at the very bottom of my post. For the rest of you, I appreciate all the positive comments, emails, and phone calls that I have received. This is my unique story. Actual earnings vary significantly: no income is guaranteed. I love your blog and have been following for about a year since I found you on Pinterest. My lifestyle is casual so I enjoy the casual outfits. As a Canadian snowbird in Phoenix I like to shop at T J Max, Nordstrom Rack, Dillard’s, Macy’s, Stein Mart and Marshals. Love the color and humor in your blog.
Hi Tania,
I have really enjoyed shopping at Cato since finding your blog about a year ago. They have really cute clothes and accessories at such affordable prices! I hope you will keep shopping there! However, I do like most everything you model! I look forward to reading your blog each day!
Happy Monday!
Hi Tania.
I have been reading your blog for about a year. I really like your down to earth style and love to read about the stories in your neck of the woods. I enjoy the fashion content of the blog and just take what ever fits my style from your style photos.I wouldn’t change a thing if it changes you and the way you tell your stories. I am fortunate that I can find what ever I am looking for since I live in a “big city” with tons of shopping. Keep up your authentic style content. What ever you share I enjoy.
Tania, I really like it how you really want your readers honest opinion. I know you put in a tremendous amount of work into your blog and I see how nicely it has really evolved since you got started. I am 1 month into finding your blog and I have to admit, I am kind of playing “hookie” from some of my other responsibilities just to catch up on all of the outfits you have worn since starting the blog. Having said that, as I have shared before, I am just not one to really like to shop for clothes, shoes and accessories. It is just not my thing. Now, you get me into the home decor section of a TJ Maxx, Marshalls, Pier 1 or a Home Goods and I have been known to be out for 8-10 hours straight shopping for house stuff. That I am good at! So, fashion is not my comfort zone…”YET”. While I am not overweight ( I could lose 15lbs) I have hit the over 50 mark and that makes for some extra weight I need to get off then tone up. I am 5’5″ and have always been an 8-10, now it is like a 12 (on the tight side) now that mother nature is messing with my hormones, my body is changing (and not for the better). So, a size 12-14 just does not look good on me. It was always easy to stay toned until the past few years. So, I guess, I am just not comfortable shopping for clothes, looking at all of the endless possibilities then the stress of trying on all of the different designers items and most of it not fitting! So to answer your question, I would just like to read every day when you wear a (top, scarf, jacket, pants, shoes or a handbag) you let your readers know first and foremost (the brand and possibly where you bought it). Like they do in the tablescaping blogs. I enjoyed seeing you turn a scarf into a jacket. I loved that! And if you know why certain styles go together, any extra fashion tips, tricks etc…. would be good. I know your blog is not to be “copied per se’, but I honestly hate to shop for clothes!! I own two online businesses, since my dad passed away last month, I help my mother with a lot of stuff and I am also a part Admin in Nursing. So, I am trying to venture out beyond a great lab coat. Now, I do know what I like, but I have no idea how to pull together a nice look!!!!!! So, for me, shopping endlessly for a certain top I have found that I like or a handbag, (well, I just do not have that kind of time). Hence, your fashion style. I seem to be VERY drawn to by the look, style of clothes, the jewelry, ….basically HOW YOU PULL IT ALL TOGETHER is what I love!! You are good at it, but it helps to be able to go buy the items you show. So, just knowing where I can get it would be the best thing for me!!! Thank you for asking us your opinion!! I appreciate it! I have decided to see what you post first (in case there is something that has caught my eye and is easly available to purchase)…then I will continue to catch up on your past 18 months of ideas…hahahaha. But really, I am really liking this “fashion thing”, It seems to be clicking slowly but surely and that in turn makes me feel more confident about myself!.
I really enjoy your blog. I would like for you to share more about your process of blogging. I love the pop of color you always seem to include in your outfits. I would like to see maybe a video demonstrating say ways to wear a scarf, or make techniques .
Hi Tania, I have been following your blog for about a year I think. I love that you use clothes that you have had for awhile, in one of your recent posts you wore a sweater that you had for year and it looked great! I think I get rid of clothes I really like because I feel they are to out of style but you proved me wrong, lol! I would love to see your closet and how you keep it all organized!!!!
Thanks for writing your blog. I enjoy seeing and reading someone who’s as down to earth as you. I can tell home and family make you happy, as they do me. It’s also encouraging to see someone with a similar body type to mine. I love seeing fashions on an unretouched human being rather than a 20 year old, stick-thin model!
There are two things I would like for you to try:
1. I would love to see a view of your shoes from the side. The heel style really interests me, being a shoe-lover.
2. Some photos with a different backdrop. I understand having things set up the same way each time is more time efficient for you but as a reader, a little variety would be fun. I’ve loved seeing photos from other places you’ve visited (Alaska, Tennessee, even your little plane at the airport! Lol)
I’m a new reader of your blog, about a month. Love the name! Found you on Pinterest. I love your style and I’m looking forward to trying to copy it. I love your sense of humor too! Keep up the good work ?
I love that you style outfits that are comfortable and affordable. I also like how you mix them up–showing one piece in a few outfits. You have inspired me to try new things!
I love a lot of the styles that you wear. The only difference is I don’t wear much for accessories. I wear very little jewelry. But you’ve helped me to be more adventurous in that area. Ha. I’d like to see more pictures “in the life of Tania”. I love your blog and you’ve helped me out more than once. Glad I found you!
Tania,
I have been following you for about 6-8 months now & absolutely LOVE your blog!! I cannot remember how I came across you but, I look forward to your aspects on fashion, lifestyle, & well-being for ladies like us. I am 56(!), divorced(3+yrs.!), a proud Mom of 3 grown children, & Nana to 5 precious grandchildren, plus another one on the way!! I am also disabled due to a botched gallbladder surgery & have other health issues. Opening your email/blog is like a visit with my best friend. Let me know if you are ever in the Nashville, TN. area. I would be honored to meet you over coffee or a meal. Please keep up the great work you are doing.
Prayers & Blessings! ???❤️
Debra
Possible things I would like to see you do: Tips on “do’s & don’ts“ in fashion & maybe some tutorials on skin care, make up wear.
I really look forward to your blog each day. Most of what you wear, I would wear too. We are about the same size and age, so let’s share purses—-just kidding, lol! I like that you are not stuck in one style zone; you mix dressy, casual, trendy and vintage. I would like to see how you would wear more trendy/edgy clothes. You make a case for not dressing your age but your instinct!
Dear Tania I love your blogs! I just recently lost weight and enjoy shopping for new things to wear. I love your fashion ideas. You inspire me to stay healthy, happy and to look my very best. I’m actually enjoying my life after 50! I truly appreciate and enjoy reading your energetic and positive blogs.
I have been following you for almost a year. I enjoy your wit and sense of humour. I have a pattern phobia. Please can you show us how to wear and mix patterns? I have recently ventured into wearing striped t-shirts but would love the confidence to wear florals and geometric prints. Thanks.
I found your blog a year ago while I was going through breast cancer treatment. It was the lift I needed every day during the long winter months and I continue to start my day with you. Keep up the wonderful job of inspiring all of us to go beyond our comfort zone and bring some fashion into our lives.
Tania I believe I’ve been following you for a year and a half or more! I LOVE that you mix it up and shop at affordable places like Cato, TjMaxx, Old Navy, etc. We can replicate an outfit we like by shopping at these stores and not break the bank! You put in more expensive items often in your purses or shoes.
I am trying to think of a suggestion for a change and I’m having a hard time. Maybe a makeup tutorial on the blog? Trunk box reveal?
Thanks Tania for your inspirational blog!
❤️Patti
I am finally able to start following you again and time to comment on your posts now that life has gotten back to normal here. I love your style and it gives me lots of ideas!! I wold love to see clothing pieces that are still available to purchase.
What I like: everything! I love that you’re so real. I love that you style clothes that are so reasonably priced. I love that you style lots of Plunder. I love that our coloring is similar so I can gauge how color combos will look on me. I love that you have TN roots (I’ve lived in East TN my whole life!). I do have one suggestion: try the Spa at Dollywood resort. ..it will totally convert you to a massage-lover! 😉
I’ve been following about fifteen months now. I think you do such a great job writing things that are always inspiringly, interesting.Always keeps me coming back to see what’s going on in fashion! Keep it up!!!
I like your blog the way it is. I like that you don’t spend lots of money for your clothes and the ideas it gives me. Where I live and work people don’t have to buy $400 purses or shoes. I am a teacher. I would like to see more beauty posts.
Have I been reading your blog for about two years. I love it and read it first thing every morning. You make me laugh a lot with your stories & I love hearing about your family. Your Sunday posts are inspiring and as a follower of Jesus I appreciate them very much. I do miss seeing posts with your two BFF’s that you did at the beginning. Any chance of seeing those types of posts again ? Keep up the good work.
I enjoy your varied ideas and would like to see more variations of the same top, pants, jewelry, etc to gain ideas on how to stretch my clothing dollar by wearing a garment different ways.
Love the blog!
I love your blog Tania! You keep it real and share the ups and downs of your personal life. It is so relatable. Plus, you are funny and a godly woman who inspires me with your Sunday posts. Just in the last few years my kids have become adults. I like to hear about how you stay connected to Ashley (my son lives far from me) and the activities with your grandchildren. Of course your fashion is spot on. I like how you were color and pattern. Clothing we can wear everyday. I guess I’m not coming up with anything I’d change, lol!
I’ve been reading your blog for about a year and a half. Ha, I didn’t realize that Vera Bradley sold leather purses. Thanks for the link. Btw, I like your blog ‘as is’. But if pressed, I’d say that I hope to see more travel pictures, and perhaps hair mentions. On my wishlist I’d also like to see you with your energizer bunny friend, at least once in a while. LOL. But you have me as a faithful reader even if none of that happened because I love your fashion style —
and your entire persona.
To quote Billy Joel, “I love you just the way you are”. Please don’t change a thing! I’ve been following your blog for well over a year and in that time you’ve shown us how to dress for a formal event, day at the office, travel, shopping trip, concert, etc. You represent what many of us are…busy, working mothers/grandmothers who want to look our best every day. You’ve inspired me to wear more color, layer my jewelry and try new things outside my comfort zone! I must confess when I first read your blog, I thought your wardrobe was expensive and way beyond my budget. Then I noticed you wearing a scarf from Old Navy that I owned and I realized we can look like a million bucks on any budget!! I was hooked. Thanks for sharing your style, humor, faith and family with your loyal readers!
Tania, you come in every day like a bright light to myself and thousands of others! I remember how “i found this” and “you”… I was turning 50 and afraid and wanted to be and look relevant. I love, love your spiritual corner on Sundays as much as I love your fun, feisty and stylish fashion . When you compare yourself to the other coast’s blogs, you are far much better! why? You literally share with us who you are! I love, love the fashion. Makes me jealous I don’t have your courage…. I love that you reach so many from South West Virginia. Anything that you try, we are in it with you. I love that you make me feel like I can do anything because you did…
Your clothing style is amazing! I have tried so many more color combinations, tried Trunk club. I work with 18-24 year olds. they always say I have a feisty style. Our sister in arms!
It might be fun to do some “don’ts “ ? When I have seen some of these in the past, they have been aha moments when I saw myself in some of the things we should never do when styling ourselves. Could be fun and generate lots of connection by acknowledging not just what we could do with our fashion, but also what we need left in the rear view mirror.
I love that your perky energy shows in your blog. Your styling shows how to dress in your 50s without seeming that you’re trying to look 30. I like references to the national stores… Old Navy, Cato, Isaac Mizrahe brand name… That we can all find. Keep up the great work.
Hi Tania I found your blog after spotting you on Pinterest you came into my life when I was feeling old fat frumpy and I loved and still love getting your email everyday it has changed my attitude to style I had always loved fashion but lost my “mojo” and confidence getting older about what I could and should wear but you my dear changed that and showed me every day, new styles and new ideas along with lovely funny stories about you and your family so I think carry on doing what your doing change it up when YOU feel like it. Love today’s look Tania looking lovely as always ? ??
I like how friendly, funny and personable you are. I have been reading your blog for about 6 months. I enjoy learning about fashion and skincare.(one of these day Id like to get some) I look forward to reading your posts. Thank you for helping us.
Hi Tania. I’m 53 and work at a window company. Most days I wear jeans to work but I like to look stylish and put together. What you are wearing today is what I would like to see. You look great. I love the colors and the way you have styled your jeans to wear to work, it’s not just sweatshirts and tennis shoes.
Hi, I don’t write comments but I follow you every day. You are an inspiration for my wardrobe if not for my life I’m a 2X and working towards my goal of a size 12. I’m trying not to buy too many clothes and would like to see you do a 2 week wardrobe of a minimalist closet. Basic pants, jackets, etc. Jewelry, shoes and accessories can be bought at any weight s so I love changing outfits with that in mind. Thanks for the daily fashion dose for women of our generation!
I LOVE seeing your blog 1st thing in the AM.!
Tania, girlfriend, I am appalled at women telling you those rude and hateful things when you are the prettiest, hippest 50 something lady I know! Bless their hearts! In my opinion I look forward to your fun, fashion conscious, beautiful colors and sexy prints everyday and always done w sincerity and sharing your lovely family and Southern girl wisdom with us! Your outfits are always both glamorous and chic while also considering comfort and price which I SO appreciate! I’ve seen blogs where every item was above my price range and not nearly as stylish nor nearly as fun! I’ve been enjoying your blog for 3 years and wouldn’t miss it for anything. Keep up the great work dear!
I have been following your blog for at least 18 months. The thing that really made me feel connected to you is that you shop at so many of the same stores that I do. I live in a small town that has a Belk’s and a Cato. When I travel somewhere that offers more shopping, I tend to shop at a lot of the same stores that you favor. I also like it that you “shop” your own closet. It does not bother me when you style something that is older and not currently in stores. I have a lot of clothes that I’ve had for several years, and that often gives me fresh ideas on how to wear them.
Have been following for several months. I think I found you on Pinterest. I love that you shop at regular stores that are accessible to me. I had been slacking for awhile because my work wear consists of a polo type shirt and jeans most days because that’s what is required. So I had just started slacking all the time. But you encourage me to step it up a bit. I like your Sunday post also. I find them encouraging. I say just keep on with what ya got!
Tania — I messaged you regarding the fact that my daughter bought me “Tania Stephens” style for Christmas. She took one of your ‘styles’ and bought me the complete look. From shoes to jewelry to purse. I’ve been following you for about a year and was always mentioning your ideas to my daughter. I love your styling — I think its gutsy and fun and fashionable. I don’t think I’d change anything. BUT— did you ever show us how you styled your hair. I know you talked about it — but did you ever do it? I think your hair and smile and personality make the blog. The fashion is just icing on the cake!
I have only been reading your blog for a few weeks but you inspire me to make an effort and wear more jewelry! I really enjoy your stories and cute outfits. Because of you I recently make a big order at Old Navy. So I’m really happy with what you are sharing!
Hi Tania, I am a recent follower of your blog, maybe 4-5 months. First i’ll tell u what i like. I like to read the stories about your family and personal accounts of your daily life with your husband. I enjoy your sense of humor and never taking yourself too seriously. I’m not always on board with your fashion choices. They’re a bit too much for me. I’m petite, 5”0, and i wear only black and grey, u guessed it i live in New York. Most importantly i want to let u know that not all your readers are Christian or even believe in God or religion. So, the Sunday blogs i tend to delete even before I read them. I do not want my fashion blogger to preach to me. Don’t assume that everyone has the same beliefs as you. This world is diverse and different.
Carol
HI- Tania I have been reading your blog for a couple of years. And I enjoy it everyday you are a very down to earth person and I love it! I really enjoy your Sunday posts. I have saved a couple and go back and read them a lot! I don’t think you need to change a thing!!
Thanks for smiles you give me daily.
I love the way you “dress up” jeans. I love them & the way you add accessories, makes the outfit suitable for anywhere. Thanks so much for sharing about your life. I look forward to your emails each day. Great job!
I love your blog!! You do not need to change anything. However I am a big shoe person and would like to see more detail of your shoes and boots. I have been in a lot of the shops you buy from and I always mention your blog.I have been following you for a couple of years now and have purchased several of the outfits and handbags. Keep doing what you do!!!!!!!
Thank you. You have helped me so much with what I have in my closet. A question does the plunder jewellery ship to Canada? I would like to see some relaxed grocery store shopping outfits
Hi Tania….Sorry for the late response. I have not been receiving your posts for over a week now. Don’t know why. I tried a few things, nothing worked. I unsubscribed, waited a few min and then subscribed! So far so good!!! I’m trying to get my friend in work to purchase the lash boost. She commented on my lashes(and I have fairly long ones, but not full like they used to be) I love the product! She is very much interested! Tho I have to say, I’m not sure if I see such a big difference in the eye cream. Anyway, I love your outfit, especially the vest!! Super cute for a dress down Friday or weekend errands! I wish here in Boston, We could just run out in a vest!!
Have you ever ordered from the Loft or Nordstroms, or even Glamour Farms? I can see you in some of their outfits(glamour farms) I order from all of them often during the seasons. I have to tell you, I have ordered from Cato finally! I do like what they have to offer. Keep up your great posts! Always look forward to seeing you in the early morning!
Celeste
Hi
Have been reading your blog for almost a year now! Love your style and perky personality! I have moved out of my comfort zone and tried some different styles and color combinations thanks to you! I love that you incorporate dressy, casual, professional, etc. and that your links usually include a large size option! I really like the fact that you share your faith — that is so important, keep up the good work in all these areas– don’t think I’d really change a thing. Would love to know maybe a makeup tip once a week???!!! In addition to the R &F products — what kind of foundation do you use? Blush? Etc. any shortcuts you have with hair and makeup would be a great addition! Thanks
I think you do a very good job of having something for everyone. I have been following for about a year and a half, I think. I really did like when you showed an item several different ways. That helped me rethink the way I wear certain items of clothing. Keep up the good work, I don’t know how you get so much done in one day!
I have been reading your blog for 2 or 3 months. Seeing how you style the same pieces different ways has helped me see my wardrobe in a different light. I am a retired teacher, so I have never dressed really dressy on a daily basis. Even when I was working, my wardrobe was more about comfort. Your blog has inspired me to try to do better! I really enjoy reading your Sunday blog and appreciate you sharing your faith.
Tania, you don’t have to change a thing! Been following you almost 2 years now and I can honestly say that you do a little of everything from casual to dressy and take us through all the seasons! I might not say much…but I NEVER miss a day!
Love your blog! I like seeing the outfits you put together. I’m retired so I don’t need office attire but I do dress up a little more for church even though our church is very casual. I’m just from the era when we always wore dresses or skirts to church though now I mostly wear pant outfits.
Like many others, I found you on Pinterest and have become a faithful follower. I look forward to your email every morning and am never disappointed by how much new information you continue to share. I am awestruck by the amount of effort you put into your daily blog with completely different outfits and accessories that I never would have thought of myself, your charming tales of married life in a beautiful little mountain town and your down-to-earth personality that reaches out to all demographics. In my own little corner of the world, you have become a forever friend through your past and future posts, and I want to thank you for all you do.
I found your blog on Pinterest last summer, just by luck. Love your stories, and your clothes. I prefer the casual look more, but also like to get dressed up,once in a while. Love the Crown and Ivy vest, bet if you looked in Belk today you could find something very similar.
Tania, don’t change a thing ! You’ve inspired me to wear more colors and use my jewelry! I also appreciate that you wear clothes that are affordable! I first saw you on Pinterest and love your blog. You’re part of my morning routine!
I love Kut from the Kloth jeans, they are comfortable and don’t stretch out in the bum by the end of the day. I love your blog, and seeing the different ways you style things, it gives me fresh ideas to try. I would love to see some springy outfit ideas. Some spring dresses and cute outfits with shorts would be great. Thank you for being so open and real, I really look forward to your daily posts.
I found your blog thru Pintrest when I was looking for fun over 50 clothing. I would like to see more work wear for women our age that is “age” appropriate yet fun. Also maybe some smaller jewelry on occasion as I do not feel comfortable wearing larger pieces as I am petite. Thanks.
Love it just the way it is – humor, fashion, bling! Would love to see you do a week of the same base items & chage accessories to make different looking items also a Packing for a trip one week. Keep up the good work, girlfriend!

I more enjoy your sense of faith, family & “regular old life”- the clothes are bonus & fun- makes me smile. Regarding cold, so true- my husband said the other day, “what are you wearing- a full afghan?” when I wear a knee length sweater. And my ankle boots wait for 30 degrees because I’m not about to go bare ankles when it’s 3 degrees. Weather certainly does affect fashion up in the north! Thanks-
I enjoy your humor and your style. You put things together in unexpected ways and combine colors that are unusual and fresh. You try lots of styles and are very bold in your choices. I would like to see you show off some of your vintage jewellery and clothing. Just for fun you could have Joe and Emerson each shop an outfit for you to see what they would come up with. I think your blog is perfect as it is, my suggestions are in response to your request for ideas. I have no problem with info about RF or Plunder. I appreciate the testimonials and advice.
Hello! I have been reading for about 4 months or so. I really enjoy reading your blog. I consider you my down to earth, funny, sassy friend that I have never met! 🙂 I like seeing all of your casual outfits. For those of us that are on the other side of 50, you prove that we can still rock it! I also really enjoy hearing about your family and the area of the country that you live in. Keep on keepin’ on!
Tania I love your style and you always look polished! I found you on Pinterest and have followed you daily for around six months. I thank you for the inspirational Sunday messages. I appreciate how you show us affordable ways to style an outfit and help us look put together and comfortable or even a dressy occasion and it don’t have to cost a fortune! You are a beautiful lady inside and out and I love your humor! God Bless. Carla
Tania, I have been following you about a year.
I enjoy each blog.
Have you ever thought about doing a live video, showing us how you can put different pieces together to make up different outfits?
And it would be nice to see your daughter, family, home, and plane! If you didn’t mind getting a little more personal. I know you do talk about them and have seen pics. of your precious grands.
Just throwing some different things out there.
If you stay where you are, i’ll still look at your post and admire what you do!!!
I do appreciate your Down To Earth personality!❤️
I think you need to continue what you do best, be you. I shop garage sales, thrift stores, stein mart, Marshall’s and TJM. You teach us how to combine interesting pieces to complete an outfit. Keep up the good work!
What I love about your blog is that you have remained true to who you are! The clothes you share the products you promote are attainable to a very wide range of your readers. It means alot that God is a part of what you write about as well. It’s so nice to get advice from someone who puts others ahead of themself. You are an amazing woman and thank you for all you do.
I appreciate all your outfit choices. How cute is this vest and the suede ankle boots! Cute sweaters, vests, jackets, long sleeved tops, and boots make me want cool year round weather no matter how much I shiver. You look cute as a button.
Tania, I have been reading your blog for about 18 months. It is so hard to step out of your comfort zone ( mine is bottom down shirts and jeans). I have been a fan of the Kut for the kloth jeans for about 3 years. I found them in my one and only stitch fix purchase. I like your tips on accessorizing! Would like to see some other brands of jewelry than just plunder
I’m from Washington state….we’re lucky to experience all four seasons with no extreme weather…usually. Saw you more than a year ago on Pinterest…the rest is history. You’re a daily read! I would love to see some “sporty” outfits! I play golf and like to see cute outfits for cool and warm weather… Not the typical “uniforms” you see in golf shops. Any ideas on that? Thanks for all you do!
I’ve been reading your blog a long time. I think maybe I found you through Jo-Lynne’s fashion linkup? I would love it if when I open the email I could see the whole outfit without having to click over. I also would love to see less Plunder and R+F advertising. Not all of us are interested in being bombarded by that so often. You’re a beautiful lady and I am so glad to see your success.
Hi Tania. I love this outfit! I am not one to wear vests at all, but this one looks so good I am tempted to go out and find one for myself! Keep on doing what you are doing. It’s easy to make an outfit more casual or more dressy just by swapping pants to jeans or vice versa
Hi! I love you blog. I have been reading it for about 6 months now I guess. I have gotten some great style ideas from reading your blog. I’m really not good at styling my clothes, I think I seriously have clothes still in my closet from the past 10 years, that’s a little embarrassing to admit. But I have gotten better with my style since reading your blog. You asked if you should change anything, I think the blog is great the way it is. Like I said it has helped me already. I love the jewelry that you wear and display. I have always been afraid to wear it, but I’m working up the courage. We shall see. Anyway, keep up the good work.
I have been following your blog for over a year and a half. I would not change a thing. I like your variety of outfit combinations with accessories. I really appreciate your choice of stores that are affordable as we all have our financial situations. With paying for college and helping my aging parents, I do not have the finances (or time) to spend all on myself. You make me laugh with your humorous stories and definitely brighten my day. I enjoy reading about your family and business adventures including the pics. I look forward to your Sunday posts because you share your faith and you acknowledge God. You give positive, encouragement and joy to the negative in this world. ~Lisa~
Hey, Tania! I love your blog and don’t know anything I’d want to change. You model dressy and casual clothing… which I think gives a good balance. Love it! ? And, I like the way you share your personal life with us…even though we’ve never met, we feel like friends! Keep on doing just what you’re doing! You go, girl! ??????
Love that purse! I like the jeans and boot look without the rolled cuff. When to cuff and when not to? I feel the cuff, on me, I’m trying to look too young.
I really like this outfit except for the boots. This is the thing I think you should change. You frequently wear a contrasting shoe or boot with pants. This cuts off your leg. To elongate your legs you should continue the same or similar color on your feet. With these jeans a navy boot or even a black boot whould have been better. Love the vest and white top with the jeans. Very nice.
Keep doing what you’re doing – I pretty much love everything you style! The clothes you style are pretty affordable for the average woman, so that’s huge in my book! I’ve learned so much from you since following your blog! You are a rock star!!!
I have been following you for over a year. You have really influenced the way I dress now and I Am way past 50. Love your blog. Have you ever bought clothes from Christopher Banks/CJ Banks? That is my favorite store. Good quality clothes and stylish. I would like to see you style some of their clothes if you can. Keep up the good work. I look forward to your blog every morning.
My request is that YOU keeping doing YOU Tania. I like the variety, the practicality, the personality in your blog! You are what keeps me reading every day. To see your sunny but real self. It’s a fun part of my daily routine, and inspires me to adapt trends to what works for me. Thank you!
I have been with you from the start. I enjoy reading your blog to keep up with your daily life, family, work etc. I especially like that you are a Christian and post something inspirational on Sunday.
I have mixed things up in my closet since reading your blog and love the task that you suggested of creating an outfit from an accessory. Your blog has increased my knowledge base since I have never seen a Cato’s store (had never even heard of it or Plunder Jewelry) and had never shopped at Old Navy for adult female clothing.
Living in a state with the wind chill this week of minus 37 below I would appreciate more layering looks and Ugg boot styles/ coats/ winter scarves/ boiled wool jackets etc. (winter outfits). But perhaps those aren’t items you even have a need for in your closet.
The only thing I don’t like about your blog and would like to see changed is ……the daily advertisement for Rodan and Fields that is the final paragraph at the end of every one of your posts. I skip the last paragraph daily. I know that you sell it and i know that I can contact you or an consultant if I am interested in purchasing the products, and don’t care to read about it daily.
Otherwise keep up the good work, I enjoy your blog. God bless you for all the enjoyment you bring to your faithful readers.
I have been reading your blog now for about 6 months. I love it! My husband always says that I dress too frumpy (I didn’t think I was!!!) so I was looking for inspiration and ideas and have found it on your site. I am 50+ years old but still have a teenage son at home. So I was looking for age appropriate clothing. I don’t want to dress like a teeny bopper but don’t want to look matronly either. I want to set a good example for my boys in how a mom should dress while still dressing with my husband in mind. (That’s hard to balance sometimes. LOL!!!) I look forward to your e-mails every morning and have found many wonderful ideas. I have even shared your site with a few friends. I love your fun attitude and generous spirit. Keep doing exactly what you are doing. It is perfect. Thank you for your encouraging words and your hard work and efforts.
I think I subscribed about 6 months after you started your blog. I found you on Pinterest as I was checking into Plunder (my daughter had just become a stylist). I absolutely loved your style! My favorite is when you style things that are easily put together from any brand and also from inexpensive stores such as Cato. My “style” Pinterest board is about 95% Tania! LOL! Keep up the good work!
Tania, part of what makes this blog so special is it’s your style. You’ve inspired many outfits for me personally. The great thing is I have a lot of the same things in my closet already. I love that you use high end and less expensive brands to incorporate your style. It is always fun to read about what goes on in your daily life. I especially love your posts on Sundays. I wouldn’t change a thing!
I love the way you accessorize and let us know where we can purchase the same items! I also like that you combine fashion, skin care and jewelry AND you Sunday blog which is always thoughtful. I wouldn’t change a thing.
I think that I’ve been following your blog since the beginning! I enjoy your sunny attitude and use of “everyday” clothing. A lot of bloggers are a little high end for me, even though I like seeing the outfits. Keep up the good work!
I love your posts!! Can’t wait till retirement when I can style my casual clothes. I actually work in a bank in Canada 38 years, wow has the dress code changed! I love that I can use your ideas for work, just changing the jeans to pants. Thanks for all your inspiration!!
Ive been following your blog for about 6 months now, I love everything about it. I might not have the same jewelery or color of top but I do try to style like you. I just can’t do it on my own, ive tried and I’m a hot mess. Lol. But with your help, I seem to be able to bring it all together and I actually get a few compliments. Lol.
I LOVE your blog. I follow it daily. I truly appreciate your honesty and love for the Lord.
I only wish i was able to purchase the outfits you wear. Maybe you should get your own cloths line. Lol
Thank you so much for sharing.
God bless!
Can’t remember when I found your blog , but I feel like I have known you forever!! Love ? your blog and you inspire me daily and I am thankful for that and for YOU? Everything about the blog is perfect but because I am nosey should say inquisitive I want to know more…..LIKE
I tend to want to wear my favorite outfits over and over instead of mixing it up, how do you not do that?
? I find myself buying styles that are in or I like on someone else and they don’t necessarily look good on me. Do you do that? How do you stay true to your style?
?How do you pack when you have to have jewelry and shoes and purses that all match.I dread packing I get so stressed. I now fly southwest , you can have lots of baggage or I drive so I can take it all.?
?Storing tips for all our accessories.
Thank you for what you do for all of us.
Still think you need to do a trunk club …..Stephan’s Styles ? Tania’s Trends?
Thank you for what ALL you do!!!!!!!!!!
Absolutely perfect! Love the splashes of color added. I just bought a long-sleeved white tee and have a vest that I never even thought of wearing it like this. Thank you for the great ideas!
Hi Tania. I’ve been reading your blog (the only one I’ve ever followed) for a year or so. Found you on Pinterest & your clothes caught my eye. I’m just over 50 and want clothes that look current but not like I’m 18 and you’ve shown me how to do that. My tastes are little different than yours but the ideas you give me are a big help. I really enjoy your Sunday posts. They usually touch me in some way and give me good food for thought. I wouldn’t change a thing. And like most of other readers you’re the first thing I go to in the mornings and it’s a fun way to start the day.
Hey Tania. I have been following your blog for over a year and a half..and then went back and read the ones I missed. I love that you show a variety of styles, and really like it when you show how to wear the same key pieces in different ways. Enjoy the stories of you family and work. You’re my first coffee email in the mornings. ??
Tania, I enjoy your blog because I never leave the house without being “pulled together”, even if only going to my Pilates classes, and I suspect you are the same. Sometimes I feel like the lone ranger because I find so few others put much, if any, effort into their appearance; that I should just “get with the program” and make a grocery store run in sweats like everyone else (haha, that’ll never happen!). So, one reason I enjoy your blog is a “comfort in numbers” thing; I like to know there are others like myself who enjoy putting a little effort into their appearance regardless of the “occasion”.
As for my favorite store….Chico’s and occasionally Soft Surroundings. I actually don’t enjoy clothes shopping so hitting the mall is out of the question for me. Chico’s has fun, colorful and current styles and they turn over their inventory often. I’m BFF’s with all their salespeople at our two stores, lol!!
I’ve sometimes wondered if there might be interest in readers submitting to you an item of clothing they own which they loved when they bought but now that it’s home, they aren’t quite sure what to put it with. Perhaps you could then offer suggestions as to how to put it to good use rather than languish in their closet unworn.
Re Rodan and Fields, may I just say to those who might be on the fence about giving it a try…..do it, it works!
Hi Tania, I think I began following your blog last Fall. I always look forward to receiving your emails, I love how open and honest you are. I actually just purchased the jeans you linked to, it’s very helpful to have a “real woman” styling articles of clothing instead of size 2 young models who are not the reality of everyday woman. I live in Vermont and we are in another world, fashion is slightly behind here as is lots of things but I wouldn’t want to live anywhere else. Reading your blog has given me the courage to purchase on trend items which I am fortunate to find at TJMax. My preference of clothing is casual and enjoy those post the most. Linking more clothing that you wear for us to purchase would be my only suggestion. Have a great weekend!
I recently started receiving your daily emails and I love checking out your daily outfits! You always look so fresh and beautiful- wish I had your talent for coordinating outfits. I think the mix of casual, business and dressy clothes is perfect. Keep up the good work.
Barbara
I follow several blogs but yours is my favorite! I think it is because you style clothing from price ranges that are attainable by most people. You always brighten my day!
I enjoy reading your posts every morning. It’s funny how you feel you know someone you have never met! I have a question for you. Since you use a different bag most days what do you do to make the transfer of items go quickly?
A friend introduced me to your blog last year and I have been following you ever since. It has helped me get out of my “beige and black” stage – so thank you. I appreciate that you include links to where we can find the items you wear. EX: just went and looked at the jeans that you are wearing – 🙂
I enjoy reading your posts every morning, from the beach of Southern California. I sometimes really envy those who have an opportunity to wear wintery clothes. Our idea of wintery clothes is getting to wear a sweater occasionally! Anyway, instead of casual Friday I think it was be awesome to have Formal Friday. Just think of everyone walking around in their formal wear….prom dresses, evening gowns, etc…etc… That would be hilarious!
Your blog is perfect just the way it is.
I discovered it just about a year ago now and we’ve had morning coffee together every day since. I love your stories, the opening up about real life stuff. I love your humour and have learned to drink my coffee with caution so I don’t spew it when you crack me up. I love your style gurl. This blog is an extension of you and I say….contine to be true to yourself.❤
Tania, I have been reading for almost a year. I am from very northern Atlanta area. We have excellent shopping here but the traffic makes it painful to go. Your info helps me narrow down to useable outfits. I get ideas from you and am ready to try Trunk Club! I so appreciate you presenting so many varied options and mixed with your fun sense of humor makes your blog both helpful and enjoyable! Agree with other comments – I followed 2 other 40 plus blogs and the bloggers have morphed into “living ads” and sadly just completely sold out to the commercial entities. Thanks for asking! Julie
I love your blog and today i felt like you were really talking to me! I am a banker and we are allowed to wear jeans on Friday, you have so many outfit variations that i try to put together for Fridays and then just change the fabric for pants during the week. Your blog is great and doesnt need any changes great job!
I have only been reading your blog about 3 months, but I think I have read all the old entries also. I look forward to it first thing in the morning. Love hearing about your family and seeing the outfit of the day. I wouldn’t change a thing. I like the Plunder jewelry but usually when I’m looking I only like one item so I won’t buy because of the shipping cost. I will probably order Rodan + Fields one day but still getting over sticker shock….. Thanks for brightening my day!
Hi Tania….I have been following you for about 8 months and await your email every morning. You are so “true to the heart” and love following life with you and your family. I like to shop at Target, TJ Max, Marshalls and Old Navy ( also consignment shops ). I do like to buy a couple items that are “trendy) for that season but try to shop on a less expensive budget. I would like if you would share with us your hair products, maybe taking “outdoor” photos (to change your scenery), share your decorating ideas for your home and where you might purchase those items.
Thank you for sharing your time and doing so much work with your blog (we all enjoy it)!
All the best,
Holly
I have been reading your blog for about 9 months. I love the jewelry ideas and really enjoy when you do a “series” like styling a jean jacket. I would also enjoy seeing pics of all your trunk club pieces.
My favorite daily read. Love to hear the why of what you put with what. Yesterday and today love the pearls with the casual! I am learning to try new things and new places. Last fall you wore a ruffelly vest from Cato I had to go directly t o the store to buy it! Cato! Who knew ? I had never been in there . Love the way you mix items from different sources!
I have been reading your bog for several months and I love your style. You start my days off just right! Would not have shopped at Old Navy but one of my go to stores now after seeing the cute outfits you put together. I have no suggestions for changes — it’s right on!
I’ve been a subscriber for about 6 months. I am a teacher and I enjoy your colorful, yet pulled together outfits. Working in an elementary school means I need to keep things colorful and washable. Thanks for all of your time and effort!
I really appreciate that you shop at “normal” stores that the majority of us probably do – and then you show us what we can do with the clothes from those “normal” stores that makes us look and feel a step or two above “normal”!
I can’t think of anyone that would hurt your feelings, reading the comments so far you must feel the love! You have managed to attracted all backgrounds and geographical locations and does is no small accomplishment. Whether we live in the country or city your style resonates with all of us and not because we love every single item (although we love most of them) but because you are genuine, funny and the girlfriend we all want to have lunch and go shopping with! Now for some ideas since you asked and you do this but maybe structuring differently. How about shopping your closet once a month or a quarter so one week you would take a basic outfit and show how scarves, vests, shawls, jewelry, purses, etc. May change the look. You do this now b pointing us to an item on a prior blog. Example, we all like to travel or have to so have an all-black outfit and go to town changing it from business to casual to dressy just with accessories. You are right, can’t please everyone but you don’t really have to – we love seeing and hearing about your after all that’s what friends are all about ?
I’ve been following your blog for over a year. I am 63 and would love for you to style mother of the groom dresses and some dressier ideas for a rehearsal dinner and other weddings. Most of the styles I find look dowdy and heavy. Can you help?
I love your blog, style, and sense of humor. I do love shopping and like Nordstrom, Gap, JCrew, Athleta. I do use Stitch Fix, Trendsend occasionally, and Wantable every now and then. I am probably not your average reader, other than age wise!?. I have an 8 year old daughter, so I am always in the go with her schedule. I tend to wear a lot of athleisure clothes, as I am always hoping to have an hour to get a workout in!?. When not in athleisure, I love casual clothes from the stores above, with premium denim and boots being my weakness. My wants outweigh my budget.?. Don’t change too much. You are awesome now. I have seen other bloggers change so much, after a couple years they look like someone else. Stay true to yourself. That’s why we all love your blog.?
I love Crown and Ivy. I am a stay at home Mimi and I have got really bad to wear sweat pants and an T-shirt. I have a closet full of nice clothes but I have got very lazy. Lol
I have been following your styling on Pinterest for a long time. I just love the looks you put together. I think my taste is very similar to yours. I had weight loss surgery 7 months ago and have lost 70 lbs so far. I am really having fun starting a new wardrobe and immediately thought of you for inspiration. Last week I went to Pinterest to view your looks and started going further into your pages. I was thrilled to find that you had a blog. I joined immediately! Just keep doing what you are doing!!!
Oh Tania, where to begin….I found your post on Pinterest as I was looking for fashion inspiration. I have been working in healthcare for 30+ years(yikes!) and have worn scrubs daily.
My fashion wardrobe tended to follow that same path, such as pants, plain tee shirt, sweater, very little jewelry. I needed HELP! I found that help with you. I am accessorizing, popping some color, and really paying attention to my clothing selections now. Your humor and inspirational words speak to me just as loudly as your fashion advice. Your blog is the first thing I read everyday. Please continue just as you are, and know that you are helping so many of us fashion challenged women? health and happiness to you and your family
My beautiful (inside and out) friend told me about your blog. She is soooooo good at putting together outfits! I tend to rush out the door and give only a little thought to my “look”. I’m now putting more effort into what I wear. I’ve recently purchased a few pairs of slimmer jeans and some jewelry off of Plunder (unfortunately not during your prize time frame). I never thought I’d be following a blog! Have a great day…….
Good Morning, Tania! After reading everything everyone else wrote, I can’t add a thing! We love your posts, the fashion photos, Sunday lessons, family photos, your sense of style and humor. The ability to not let fear stop you, your energy, you are shining the light on a dark corner and we all benefit from you. Thank you for sharing!
Hey, my first comment! I bought the tannish jeans from Old Navy that were on your blog last week, I think. Also, bought a blouse from Talbots similar to your plaid. You give me fresh insight into what is already in my closet. I spent 5 hours of our recent snow day going through my closet and tried EVERYTHING on since I’ve lost 25 pounds last year. Now, I have room for more!
I can’t even remember how long I have been following you. I like the casual or semi-casual outfits since I am a stay at home wife and when we go out it’s usually casual. I like when you tell us where you get the pieces of your outfit but am always so disappointed when it’s a boutique item and then we can’t order or pick it up as so many are so cute! Boutiques are getting really popular in my area and are even starting to mail pieces but I usually have to try on before I buy. I have to drive to shop and then it’s usually Cato, Dressbarn, Gordman, Target or Penny’s. I like wearing vest like you have on today. I wish I could get into the more colorful booties for myself as they always look so nice with your outfits and my hubby does tell me that I need to wear more colorful things sometimes…and he’s right! I’m not a a shopper so it helps me get ideas when I see what you put together. I always say that I wish malls had personal shoppers that would just take you and help you pick out an outfit…LOL
I enjoy watching you style Tania. I’d like to see some more ways you layer things. Especially because we are fixing to transition into spring. I pretty much have the fall thing down. I wear lots of leggings and enjoy layering especially my Logo. I love hearing your stories about your family. You keep it real and it makes it fun to read along with styling. Keep on keeping on.
I do look over this look, I have said it before , you have helped me to up my game, people notice. I love those boots , but have found ANY heel throws my hip out now !24 years of working on concrete did me in! So it’s time to go shopping.
I think you cover such a variety of styles and such, you’re doing great! I have been encouraged by my kids to “branch out, mom” and you’re helping with that. So much clothing looks great on-line or on a mannequin but not on a real person. Love that reality with your blog. Keep up the great work and thanks!!
I have been reading your blog for about a year. I love your style! I followed another blogger for a short while and then I found you. I look forward to reading your blog every morning with my coffee. It’s a great way to start my day. I wouldn’t change anything about your blog. I love your “classy and sassy” style, your funny stories and your Sunday blogs. I do have a question for you. I don’t have slender legs. Can you (or maybe some of your followers) suggest a brand of jeans? I can’t wear skinny jeans.
I love to read your blog and hear what you are up to. The only suggestion i would have is to push yourself out of your comfort zone. I did that myself several months ago and now I wear ankle pants. And that’s something I wouldn’t even look at before. I’m tall and one of my no no’s was pants that were too short. I finally gave in and tried on a pair and now I have 4 or 5 pair, I don’t even know how many. Even if you fail, you’ve tried and showing that to everyone will help too. It won’t do permanent damage to try, but it will educate and I think that’s what you are trying to do. Have a fabulous day!
I am relatively a “newbie’ to your blog as I have been enjoying your blog for only a few months. I happened upon it when I was looking for fashion help on Pinterest. We have similar taste and I have a lot of similar pieces in my closet. You give me direction that I wouldn’t normally have on my own. I battle trying not to dress like my 25 yr old daughter or my 83 yr old Mom. You help me walk the fine line between. I recently quit working to stay home with 4 grandchildren (actually this is MORE work lol) so I forget to accessorize occasionally and you are my morning nudge to not become that frumpy housewife I prosmised myself i would never be.
I’ve been following your blog for a little over a year now, I think. It’s the first thing I go to on Facebook each day. I enjoy seeing what you put together. I’m a teacher; we can’t wear jeans often, and I was tired of everything I was putting together and needed new ideas. I don’t mind some photos with jeans, but I’d like more business casual pictures. I enjoy them all though, so don’t change anything for me!
I enjoy your blog because it shows new ways of putting clothing together and not just the styles of the minute but the things that we may already have in our closets. Since I started following you I have started wearing color, a big step for someone who only wore black! I love it! Keep on doing what you do!
I love waking up and reading about your day as if we were friends! I like hearing about your life and family and think you do a great job styling outfits that I would wear and not too trendy. I like when you show a piece of clothing and then lots of ways to wear it.
I’ve been following your blog for about 2 years and love it the way it is. I’m always anxious to see what you are going to wear each day and how you styled it. Enjoy reading the funny things that happen in your everyday life.
I have been reading your blog about four months now after realizing that when on Pinterest I was drawn to your photos. Imagine my delight to find you also had a blog! Our coloring is very similar so it helps me vision how I might look in different shades. I enjoy the whole outfit being commented on from head to toe as well as links on where items like those shown can be found. Thank you and keep up the good work!
I’ve been following you for over a year. I love that you wear a wide variety of clothing styles and always seem to have a fun story to tell. Reading your blog every morning and seeing how you’ve put together something that never would have occured to me has helped to give me the confidence to step outside of my comfort zone. Thank you!
I have been reading for almost a year. I enjoy all of your posts. I looked back over the year and saw the “style a …..” 4 ways type posts. Perhaps you could do another “series” like that? Maybe even with scarves or the like?
I’ve been reading your blog for almost 2 years. It’s my favorite blog because I love how you share your life and family, you’re funny but also because I LOVE the mix of clothes that you wear!!! Outfits definitely don’t look the same everyday. Thank you.
Tania,
I have read your blog daily for about two years. I love your daily stories and sense of humour. Your style is much like mine but most importantly you have showed me how to wear combinations I would never have thought of and not to be afraid to try new things. Keep doing what you do but please continue with colour! I need strong colour to feel alive, well and confident and you do it so well!
Hi Tania! I have been following your blog for about a year and a half. I truly enjoy your down-to-earth personality! I love the variety of casual and dressy outfits that you show — and I like how you present the same piece in different ways. It’s so fun to stop here every day! Thank you!
I have reading your blog for a little over one year. Keep on doing a good job of staying stylish and age appropriate and your pop of color. Also like reading about your adventures with EBF and your sister. Keep up the interesting read.
Hi Tania, I agree with the lady who said some of the other blogs are too commercial. I like that yours is not, keep doing the fun stories, Sunday blessings and being relatable and down to earth. You are helping me with the idea that I want to not dread becoming older amd on a shelf, but instead to be as fabulous an older lady as I can be!
I think you have just the perfect mix of fashion, humor, and inspiration. You are the first blog I read every morning. What a great way to start my day! Keep it up!
I have been reading for about a year. I really enjoy the series when you wear an item different ways so maybe more of those? I love that vest! I think I might need to pull out my pink fushia purse out, love that pop of color!
I love that you style outfits that are always different types – not just casual, or just dressy, etc. Seeing the different types is nice because I think it makes me think outside the box.
One thing that I would like to see is the back of the outfits more often. I know that may sound weird, but I think that view is a problem area for many women. I am petite, but I will get that “back fat” in the bra back area with some clothing. I wear camisoles under things in winter, but that’s not an option in summer – especially since I live in Georgia!
I stumbled across you on Pinterest several months ago and have been a fan ever since. You are so down to earth and I look forward to reading your blog every morning.
I’ve been following your blog for almost a year, my fashionista friend introduced me to you. I am 50+, a Realtor for the last 3 yrs. I have had to really step up my wardrobe. You continually inspire me. My greatest compliment was from a 22 yr old gal in my Young Adult class that my husband & I teach, she told me I was hip!!
I hope I win, I LOVE bangles, you can never have to many!!
I love what you do with your blog. You are you uniquely YOU!!! That’s what makes it good. I follow some others, but they aren’t comfortable just being themselves. You also use lots of affordable, fashionable pieces. You have given me so many ideas about putting things you already have together in new and creative ways. Just keep being uniquely you and I’ll keep looking at your post first thing each morning! ❤️ ❤️ ❤️
Hi Tanya’s, I have been following your blog for a little over a year now. I love how you are always so funny and tell such great stories. I also love your style and am eager to see what you have on each day. You are such a hard worker and that comes through! The only thing that I would change is that I would like to see your outfits in different views. It seems that you’ve been showing the back and side view a little more recently and I love that! Keep up the good work!
I have been reading you since the beginning of the blog. I was desperate to see outfits for women in their 50/60’s that were modern but not revealing and age inappropriate. I felt like I was in a style rut. I had lost my way. I like seeing staple items styled different ways. I don’t think you need a huge wardrobe but you have to make the pieces work together. Quality items are important…and are the building blocks of your closet. I love your sense of humor and honesty. I agree you can’t please everyone and trying to do that can make you get style confused… just be yourself. People will respond or not. There is usually something in each post for almost everybody. Best…kathy
Hi Tania,I have been reading for about 6 months and you have really helped me dress better and have a better outlook. I love to see what is in your trunk club, but also everything else! The jewelry is so fun and I like that I can just go and buy it if something really catches my eye! Please keep your stories coming, we love to hear everything. No changes necessary, part of what made me a daily follower is that you are so normal and I feel like you are definitely someone I would be friends with.
I would not change a thing on your blog. I’ve followed you for about 18 months & I look forward to reading it daily. I agree with the other ladies..I like it when you take one item and style it different ways. I have a nice wardrobe, but it’s small, and restyling items is very helpful. I work in Finance and the dress code is a bit too conservative for me. Your blog has taught me to push those boundaries just enough so that I’m dressed professionally, but not frumpy. I’m a crazy fan of Rodan and Fields and Plunder. Carry on, Miss Tania!
I love that you style a variety of pieces. I say keep doing what you are doing. You are blessing many people along the way by being real and we can all relate. I live in the north so do wear puffer vests to stay warm but I love clothes in general. If there would be something I’d like to see more of it would be an inspirational quote or scripture of the day just to give us something to ponder. Blessing to you and keep up the wonderful work.
I love your different looks. Maybe a feature you could add to the blog from time to time is how to style from a capsule wardrobe. I could see that as being useful to someone who wants to buy a few key pieces and build from there. Or for someone who is packing for a trip and needs to stick with a few outfits that can be mixed around to make new looks for a few days and nights.
Meanwhile, you have a great sense of style. Keep being you!
Found your blog this summer….love it. You have a great variety of styles that can be easily adapted . I really enjoy you Sunday posts as well. Keep on doing what you do!!
Please don’t change. I know in this world of comparison it’s hard not to think I need to be more like this or that. You are very stylish and knowledgeable about fashion for women of all ages. Two other blogs I follow have become so commercial I have dropped them. When you show different ways of wearing a repeat item that is realistic for me. I like that you have used all price points and not afraid to include stores of all kind just not high end. I have followed you for years. As I told you before your the first thing I read with coffee. I relate to your thoughts and I am a mother and grandmother. Be who you are. Thank you for asking but I wouldn’t change a thing but your outfits. I also enjoy your devotions on Sunday. They are very relatable and always thought provoking. Thank you for sharing a part of you with me.
I’ve been following you for almost a year, and first found you on Pinterest. Your style is fun, and easy to incorporate. One day I almost jumped out of my seat when you styled the green “army” style vest from Cato, because I had just purchased the same vest at Cato! That’s what makes you so relatable! I don’t have any fashion suggestions, because you provide a great variety. Love hearing about your family and friends, and even your work calamities…ugh, computer problems!! I’ve also shared your blog with my friend, who has the same energy output as your EBF. Tania, thanks for a great way to start the day!
I’ve been reading your blog for about 6 months & find it refreshing. It wasn’t easy to find a down to earth Christian Lady with a casual vibe (but can dress it up when necessary). You are a fashion forward lady with good taste in clothes not dowdy, not flashy, just right. Like most women I want nice clothes that fit me in colors & styles that look great. Since much of the fashion I like is out of my ballpark financially I sew them myself. When I’m fabric shopping I can easily pull up your posts & grab a yard or 2 of fabric
( love your pink & navy chain print vest btw) even if it’s an item you’ve had for a while I can usually find similar fabric.
This way I get fashion forward clothes, in colors & prints I like & that are tailored to fit me all at a great price point.
I think your doing a great job with your blog. You’ve got good fashion sense & are true to yourself & your style. I also enjoy the more personal looks into your world as well as the Christian point of view. I think it balances well.
I found you on Pinterest, & felt i was stuck in a style rut. I now take greater care & put different things together. I love the plunder jewellery but unfortunately they don’t ship to uk.. so ebay for me! ? i look forward to your email every day. I agree you carnt please everyone.. i have to try & emulate the clothes you wear In British stores .. your posts are varied & full of life & always positive. It gives me confidence to try new looks & dont feel that its too young. X??
I like your blog just the way it is. I think you have a nice mix of styles for all occasions. I enjoy seeing the different looks you come up with, and reading about your family. Keep up the good work!
Hi….ive just bought red patterned ankle boots…some if my friends laugh cuz they look like curtains then others love them…gora be brave enough to wear them…love yr blog….im from the UK ?
Hi Tanya, I have been reading your posts for several months having only discovered it recently. I had been looking for some ideas on how to dress an older woman in colour as most older bloggers tend to wear blacks, greys and whites with maybe just a pop of colour so when I saw your blog I was really drawn to it. I love your sense of which colours go well with other colours and your not afraid to even go bold. Then you jazz up the styles with beautiful stylish jewelry, bags and shoes. You have a great sense of humour and a lovely family. As a professional woman I look forward to more dressier styles, business like styles and take me out to dinner styles. At the same time I do appreciate the casual down to earth styles you portray as we all need to relax from time to time….lol. So I continue to look forward to your daily posting. Your doing an amazing job!
I have been reading your blog for about 2 years. A friend of mine told me to check it out and I’m hooked! The first email I have to read every day! Lots of humor and always makes me smile. I love that it is like a friend telling us about their day and showing us a new style or way to wear something we already have in our closet. I really like it when you show us how you style a piece of your wardrobe several ways. Keep up the good work!
Hi Tania, I have been following your post since last spring. I love what you are doing and I feel like we are friends, although we have never met. I am a conservative dresser in my 60’s but I need to break out of my comfort zone and try some new things. You are helping me do just that. I have this same vest but never thought of wearing pink boots or pearls with it. Looks great! My Mom is in her 80’s and has always been a “girly girl”. She stills dresses “young” and looks better than me at times!
I really love all your outfits. ?. I find myself looking for your same clothes when I shop!
I like seeing your different looks. You are more adventurous than I am, so it’s good seeing your styles. I honestly can’t think of a thing to change!
Love your style! I struggle with “casual business” look. Help!
Where did you get the purple short sleeved short sweater
Carol
Really enjoy reading you every day. You have a nice variety of looks. Love hearing about your family & your Sunday musings. Keep up the good work.
I would like to see different articles of clothing go from casual to dressy. Love your blog.
I would love to see business casual. I work in a dental office and can wear most anything except jeans.
Thanks!!
I love your blog. I like the mix of styles and that you aren’t afraid of color. Maybe include a date night outfit sometimes.
I love your style! I especially like posts like today when you mix casual clothes with dressy jewelry. Very pretty.
Such a cute outfit! Love the pink! You are always so cute and such a fun personality! Thank you for inspiring me to dress better! ❤️

I like you blog. You are honest, genuine and a little goofy. Just my recipe. ❤️
Like your outfit today. Such a pretty pop of color to wear in the winter!
Love your blog. I had trouble coming up with work outfits everyday until I found you.
Brenda
Love your blog!
Shared it with sisters and friends!
You are very real and fun to follow!
Have a great weekend, Tania!
I enjoy your blog and your personality!! You are a friend that you see often. You make it easier to put things together!!
I love that you do different clothing choices. I would say you are right on the money. Love the variery
I have been reading your bog for several months and I love your style. You start my days off just right! Would not have shopped at Old Navy but one of my go to stores now after seeing the cute outfits you put together. I have no suggestions for changes — it’s right on!
I really enjoy how you will show us more than one way to wear an item! Thank you
I’ve been a subscriber for about 6 months.
Keep being YOU!
I love your blog. I would like to see more of the links that show us where to find the clothes, shoes and bags. Thanks.
Loved the vest look, I guess the look I like to see more of is “business casual”……
Thanks and every success!
Keep it up!
I love your look. I have to wear dress pants to work, I just replace the jeans with dress pants. I really get inspiration from your color choices.
Love the pops of color throughout this outfit. Stay warm!
Cute jacket!
Tania,
I love that you style a variety of pieces.
Hi Tania
I subscribed to your blog several months after you started it. I enjoy it so much and I wouldn’t change a thing!?
Supercute outfit and the pearls add glamour!! I love leather purses. They wear so well. You have helped me be better about accessorizing!
Great pop of colour. Just visited Berlin Fashion Week this week and see that the trends for this coming Spring are super nice and colourful – please do tell me what you think:

Hi….ive just bought red patterned ankle boots…some if my friends laugh cuz they look like curtains then others love them…gora be brave enough to wear them…love yr blog….im from the UK ?
Love, love, love this casual look Tania. As usual, you look great.
Tania, I sooo love the hot pink boots. I just love colour, also just love how you always thoughtfully add some ‘bling’ to every outfit. Keep going.
