My posts this week might look a little different in fact they will probably look a lot different. I am going to share a little of my day which is filled with lots of laughter and a lot of wet footprints all through the house. The grandbabies think they need to have every float we have in the pool at the same time. Haha! There was one time where they had the peacock float with the chair on top of it and another styrofoam float on top of that. It was pretty funny looking. The poor peacock float has suffered a broken neck. Lol! It has a small pin hole in it that Joe said he will fix but they like dragging it around the pool by it’s neck.
Emersyn is styling her pink puddle jumper with a pink and green elephant. Just to make sure she stays afloat she decided to also add the blow-up donut float.
My Energizer Bunny Friend came by for a few hours. Her daughter and Matti B. had a blast playing together. They are about a year apart in age so they had a lot in common. Here you see them being stalked by a shark, aka as Huttson.Huttson is doing his Sir Lancelot impression here. Lol! This is a baby float that we have had since Emersyn was born and we kept for in case someone comes to the house with a small child.
Matti B. loves just floating around on an oversized pool noodle. Jett looks like Joe Cool with his sunglasses/goggles combination glasses. Jett can swim but he will wear himself out to the point of exhaustion. When he gets that tired they make him put on his blow up arm floats just in case. I thought it was very stylish of him to make sure his goggles and arm floats match. Lol!
The girls got comfortable in the pool with their Big Joe chairs. I just bought these this year at Sams Club and I love these chairs. They are very comfortable to sit in. I can lay back in this chair and have just my feet in the water. Perfect for a little sunning and still staying cool.Jett got very shy when he saw me coming with the camera. He told me that I was “blue” and I told him he was too.
Emersyn has to have her “gargoyles” when she is in the pool. She told me that she knew the name was goggles but she liked gargoyles better. She is like Jett, she matched her glasses with her floaties.
Jett is a rebel. He is 4 years old but he will turn 5 in October. He is the rambunctious one in the bunch, yes he is the baby. He has the cutest dimple in his chin and I can forsee him getting away with almost everything because he is so cute.
It took Emersyn a while before she would get it the chair and then she loved it. She would just float around with her little feet crossed and would just lay back and relax. I kept calling to her so that I could get her picture but the sun was so bright she couldn’t even open her eyes.
It is going to be a fun-filled week. But because it is the end of the month, because we just got a new computer system, and because I am leaving for Alaska on Sunday, I have to go in and work every day even if it is only about half a day. I only live 2 minutes away so I can run back out there if they have a problem. It might be a different story while I am in Alaska. Joe is already starting to fret about something going wrong while we are away. I am sure they will be fine.
