LACE AND PLAID PANTS
I am loving my visit in Tennessee. I have already been to watch sweet Matti B in her tumbling class. I was impressed with her perfect cartwheel and round off. But I was blown away by her ease of doing a split. She is crazy flexible and is so elegant, I can’t believe she is only going to be 8 years old.
I also went to my cousin’s house who wanted me to bring my Plunder jewelry and show her. She is having a party and they wanted to see some of the jewelry in person. I warned her that I had a huge amount of jewelry, but I don’t think she was prepared for the amount I brought. She had a tiny little table set out for me to put the jewelry on. I filled that, another small table, a countertop, and part of the dining room table. Hahaha!
I took these pictures last week and I am sitting here trying to remember where I bought this top. I think I may have gotten it at the outlet store earlier this year. I have started to wear it several times, but it never seemed to go with anything I wanted to wear. This is not a color that I would normally wear but I liked all the lace detail. In looking at these photos, I love the color of the top against my skin.
Here are two bracelets from Plunder that I wear pretty often. The Cecelia bracelet is on the left and the Edith bracelet is on the right.
These pants are really heavy. I bought them this spring when they were on the clearance rack at Old Navy. I loved the way these pants fit, which is a little surprising because they are the Harper line which normally doesn’t fit me that well. I always recommend sizing down when buying this line.
Okay, gurls. I am now off to watch the boys play in a soccer game. This was a short and sweet post because I am off having fun with the babes. I hate that I didn’t get to take more time with this outfit, it is actually one of my favorites.

This is lovely. And, you’re correct…it looks great on you.
Skipping church this morning to see our gran-nephew’s lacrosse game. The weather is glorious here! We don’t get much fall color but it’s still just perfect. God is good, all the time.
Oh! I’m getting a Maurice’s closer to me. Yea! You get such cute pieces there. Safe travels on your way home.
Love the top. It’s a great color on you, but you have many. You also look great in orange, gold and some blues and black. I don’t know why but I just could not do a plaid pant. I enjoy you daily and you are helping me be a little bolder in my fashion choices. Thanks Tania and enjoy your visit.
Beautiful top.
You look beautiful as usual. Love this outfit.
Generally you hit it outta’ the park most of the time. I love mixing colors and textures and the lace DOES work with plaid but that color beige isn’t good for your skin tone. Maybe it’s the way it photographs but it isn’t flattering. Not going to lie . . .
Your outfit is pretty awesome! But I would probable change the bag 😉
Have a nice weekend!
I would normally carry a different bag, I am just carrying this one for Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
Love this outfit! The color is stunning on you! I want to copy this look?
Good morning!
This outfit is gorgeous!! So elegant.
Question, my college Alma-Ata colors are navy and gold. Any suggestions for outfits for the homecoming game and dinner next weekend?
Have a wonderful weekend.
I note that you buy a fair amount form Old Navy. Do you buy from the store or online? I have bought very little from the store and wonder if their online selection is better? I am not a big online shopper as i like to feel the fabric and try on first.
I usually buy in the store. I am like you, I want to feel the fabric and see how thick it is. Old Navy’s quality is descent for the price. The items I buy from there are things I only plan on wearing for a couple of years. If it is an item that can be worn for a long time, I will buy from a better quality store.
I’ve been seeing patterned pants abound this year, and I absolutely love the trend!
