Inexpensive Life Changing Products Worth Buying
Every now and then, I come across a product that’s so practical, so helpful, I wonder how I ever lived without it. And when it’s affordable? Even better. These aren’t luxury splurges or trendy fads—just good, sensible finds that make everyday life a little easier, prettier, or more comfortable. If you love little life upgrades that actually work, you’re going to want to bookmark this list of products worth buying!
Life Changing Fashion Products Worth Buying
This is one of my most frequently used fashion products, yet you never see it. I’ve had an invisible belt for YEARS, and I mostly use it to help with a muffin top. Yes, the pooch that appears when the waistband of your pants is a little too tight. I position the belt to help hide the pooch, and then cover it with my shirt. You’re welcome!
If you’re like me and wear a lot of dresses in the warmer months, you’ll love these. These soft, stretchy slip shorts keep everything smooth and comfortable underneath without adding bulk. They help prevent chafing, and they’re a lifesaver when the wind decides to blow at the worst possible moment or you’re bending down to grab something! If you prefer cotton ones, go for these.
This little pink-and-white gadget is one of those things you don’t realize you need until you need it. Whether you’ve got a loose hem, a collar that won’t stay put, or you’re labeling things for a sale, this stitch gun makes quick fixes so easy. I keep mine in my laundry room and have used it more times than I can count.
Wardrobe malfunctions, be gone! These double-sided strips are perfect for keeping wrap dresses in place, securing necklines, or even keeping straps from slipping. They’re perfect for slipping into your handbag or stashing in your suitcase!
Beauty Products Worth Buying
These microfiber towels are the MVP of hair wash days. They’re super absorbent without being heavy, and they stay put without needing to be readjusted. They’re especially great if you have shoulder or neck pain and don’t want a big, bulky towel weighing you down.
If you’re still using a regular towel on your face, you might want to reconsider. These disposable towels are soft, hygienic, and perfect for sensitive or acne-prone skin. I love using them after cleansing or removing makeup—they’re gentle but effective and don’t harbor bacteria like traditional towels.
This brush glides through wet or dry hair without tugging, and I’ve noticed way less breakage since I started using it. Plus, it’s lightweight and easy to travel with!
This body scrub is a game changer if you deal with those pesky little bumps on your arms or legs that are caused by Ketosis Pelaris. The mix of glycolic and lactic acids helps exfoliate gently, but effectively. It’s safe for sensitive skin, and it leaves your skin feeling soft and smooth after just a few uses!
Inexpensive Wellness Products to Try
I know we all probably have a ton of water bottles in our cabinets, but this one is my favorite. It’s leak-proof, so I can throw it in my tote bag. It’s insulated, easy to clean, and the built-in straw and sip spout combo is genius. Plus, the colors are just plain fun and make me smile every time I see one!
This sleep mask is weighted like a tiny pillow for your eyes, and the gentle pressure is incredibly calming. If you struggle with falling asleep or staying asleep, this might be the thing that helps you drift off faster.
This vest is great if you’re looking to level up your walks or strength training without doing a full workout overhaul! Put it on for short walks or housework when you want to get a little extra calorie burn. It’s adjustable, well-made, and even has reflective strips for safety.
Home Products Worth Buying
Summer is right around the corner, and you ladies who stay hot are going to want this item. It is a cooling comforter, and it really works. The comforter is not thick or heavy and is cool to the touch. I only use a fitted sheet on the bed and the comforter. The comforter will warm up from your body heat, but when I stretched out my foot during the night, I was shocked at how cold it was.
This is something Joe and I can’t live without! Lol! I bought an extra one and took it to my mom’s so that I’ll have one when I go there each month. I also have another one stocked away for if one of us is traveling.
I bought this Oil-Rubbed Bronze Soap Dispenser in a 2-pack. It’s an inexpensive way to make your bathroom look fancy. Lol! I filled the dispenser with Mrs. Meyer’s Clean Day Liquid Hand Soap.
I would never, ever, ever have thought that a laundry hamper would be on my “favorites” list. Laundry is a chore, and I’m not a fan of it. However, this hamper has made my life soooo much easier! I need to put a label above each bin, though, because Joe can’t seem to remember which one is colors, darks, etc.
I bought this personal safety alarm for myself. My neighborhood seems safe, but you never know who is driving through. However, when my daughter came to visit, she tried it out, and I gave it to her. I worry more about her than myself since she is out more often. I’m ordering myself another one, but I’m glad she carries this with her everywhere.
I can’t tell you how many times I used to try to fill a zip-top bag with soup or sauce only to end up with a mess. These little rack holders are like an extra pair of hands in the kitchen. They hold your bag upright so you can pour or scoop without spills. Genius for meal prepping!
This silicone strainer clips right onto the side of your pot which means no more fumbling with a full-size colander. I use mine for pasta, steamed veggies, or even rinsing fruits or veggies. It’s compact, easy to store, and saves space in the dishwasher too.
I’ve used all kinds of cleaning cloths, but these are my favorite for quick wipe-downs, dusting, and even car detailing. They come on a roll, like paper towels, but they’re reusable, washable, and super absorbent. I tear one off when I need it and toss it in the wash when I’m done.
Miscellaneous Items to Try
This sleek little wallet snaps right onto the back of your phone to hold your license and cards. Perfect for running errands or walking the dog when you don’t want to carry a full purse. It’s both stylish and functional!
Let’s be honest, car clutter is real!! These small trash bins fit perfectly in your cup holder and come with extra liners. Keep one in the front seat and one in the back for tissues, snack wrappers, or receipts. They’re simple but will make your car stay neat and tidy!

Verse Of The Day
Ephesians 3:18 (NIV)
18 may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ,
😊great gift ideas
I love the anti chafing shorts. I normally wear bicycle shorts (the ones without the added seat pad). The ones you suggested look lighter weight than what I normally wear. Clicked buy it now and they’ll be here Wednesday! Can’t wait. Haha
Oh! Found it 😁
I love their fast delivery.
Suggestion for Joe: I use good old-fashioned Vicks Vapo-rub under my nose at night and can breathe all night. I had almost forgotten this product existed.
I gave him that, and he refused to use it. Men are so stubborn.
☺️
Turbi Twists rule! Also love the belt trick!
I am wondering how wide that tummy belt is. Does it stay in place?
It is a couple of inches wide, and it stays in place for me.
Found it!😀
Love straw bags for the one with a gold chain!
My go-to when I come down with a cold is Thera-Flu. That seems to help me more anything. Hope Joe feels better soon!
🙂 Found it!
😊 some great ideas.
🙂 Some great ideas here, especially when looking for a gift for someone who has everything!
🙂Love the elastic belt for the muffin top. You find all the best accessories and gadgets 🤣
😊that invisible belt looks ingenious!
😁I love my hamper that I ordered after your original post! And the clip on strainer is amazing.
😃 I hope that Joe feels better soon! You shared some great items.
Love the sales. Get a Navage. It has helped me so much. I use it all the time. I hope you feel better
🙂 I have had the she’s birdie for awhile now. I travel a lot be car from Illinois to Florida, just me and the dogs. My husband is always worried. I attach her to my belt loop so she is always with me and easily accessible. I’ve added the invisible belt and the stitch gun to my cart and my husband just walked in and asked if Tania was costing him money again :):)
lol! Be sure to tell him I said, hello 👋🏻
Thank you for your transparency, and vulnerability with the waist belt. I appreciate you being so authentic.
The car trash cans would be great to give to my friend ..she has grandkids .. ☺ Found it
🙂 love all of the Meyer’s cleaning products
Hey Tania! I love all these ideas, especially the invisible belt. I actually have similar belts to keep my pants up. Do they really help muffin top? They seem like they wouldn’t be wide enough.
I guess it would depend on how wide you muffin bulge is. I position the belt in a way that it takes away the worst of it. You might also have to play with how tight the belt is. You don’t want it creating more mini muffins. Lol!
Great ideas!
Never heard of invisible belt!
Where do u place the buckle?
You play around with the belt to see the best placement. Plus, you want to make sure the belt isn’t too tight and creating more issues than it is solving
🙂 Such clever and useful items. I already use a few of them. My favorite is the Turbie Twistie Towel. Too bad I didn’t discover them sooner.
🙂 found it
I’ve had several of these items for years. You really have done a good job of rounding up a wide range of “necessities.” I have been considering the weighted vest but trying to decide if it is another gimmick I really don’t need. Had to laugh at the laundry basket labeling. I have two baskets – a light and a dark. Made it simple.teehee
😊Found it. love the car trash cans.
😊 Fun stuff to try. Thank you!
Great collection of things we can really use. I especially like the slip shorts, and the Birdie Personal alarm. I was the 70 year old victim of an attack in South Beach, Florida in February. I now have the Birdie Personal Alarm and start a short self defense course later this month. Going to order the slip shorts and another alarm for my daughter!
😊. I have debated getting a weighted vest
😊 lots of neat ideas
Is the link for the invisible belt correct? The link goes to a regular belt??
It is a regular belt, but it lays flat and is stretchy. Plus, the latch isn’t large and bulky, so it is invisible under a shirt. I usually turn the latch to the back to make sure it doesn’t show.
😊 Such interesting items. The look on your face with belt is so funny. I’m like you in having to have noise to go to sleep. In warm weather I use a fan but in winter I use a noise machine. I have tinittus. I don’t know how I got it because I have never listened to real loud music or put anything in my ears. I’m going to have to check out some of those items.
😀 Just might have to try some of these items out. Thanks for all the great tips!
🙂 Lots of great ideas! I have a couple of these but I am going to try the little baggie holder and I could definitely use a water bottle that doesn’t leak!
😀. Awesome finds. Thanks, Tania!
🙂. So many things I didn’t know that I needed!!
😊 A lot of great products. Need some new hair towels. I have wanted to try a weighted vest. Do you like it and or notice a difference when walking?
Lisa, my daughter is the one who loves it most. It is supposed to help with a lot of issues, but I probably don’t walk enough to see them.
🙂 Lots of great items. Thanks for sharing this.
🙂 How does the invisible stretch belt stay in place?
You tighten it to fit your waist.
😊love the idea of the shapewear belt! Might have to get one!
😀 The invisible belt looks like something I need to put in my cart. Also like the two sided tape for quick fixes.
🙂 Found it! I was so happy to see the shorts on your list. I need them for some of my shorter dresses. They will be perfect!! Thank you, Tania!!
I have several items in my cart. the invisible belt is genius! my dad gave me a personal alarm and I ended up giving it to my daughter too. she travels around so much for her job.
Thank you – so many great ideas!
Lots of great ideas! I ordered the belts hoping they will cinch in the gap on my waistbands without showing. It’s hard for me or find pants that fit my hips and waist.
Great finds! Nice to know what others think. 🙂 found it!
😀
So many fun, new gadgets to try. I love the car trash cans. Also the zip top bag holders.
Very fun post.

What a great list of products! I can’t believe I never heard of most of these .
Invisible stretch belt ???? Who knew ?
🙂 Great suggestions! I like the Owala free sip!
I bought those soap dispensers the last time you mentioned them, and I love them! Thank you.
😊 Such clever items ! That belt looks interesting and I may have to get one. I hate the muffin top, makes it difficult to wear my clothes. Love some of the other items too!
🙂 Those are some really cool products!!!
I have bought the invisible belt years ago. I use mine to wear in the belt loops of my pants to smooth the front where the pants fasten. Otherwise you can often see the button/snap flap stick out on the tee shirt and it gives a sloppy look. Plus they work well if the waist is just a little loose to tighten the band. Mine are from Amazon and are adjustable.
I have the baggie stands and use them all of the time to freeze extra soup and chili. Fashion tape is also a lifesaver. 🙂
Found it! This was a very useful blog. Loved all the new things to try!
🙂 Love this post! So many great items. I bought the sleep mask for my daughter for Christmas, and she LOVES it!
😀 love this post. My daughter swears by the water bottles. She says they are easier to clean as well. Have the strainer too.
🙂 Found smiley! Several of these items are now in my Amazon cart. Loving the clip on strainer idea, especially since my go to strainer is cracking. Also I always have fashion tape in my closet, it fixes so many things. Have a blessed weekend!
😊 Wow…interesting post! Lots of items I can use. Thanks, Tania! Have a great weekend!!
😊 so many items I didn’t know I needed!
🙂 some great gadgets. I like the muffin top belt!
So many great ideas! I will order the body belt today. If it works for me, I will be so excited. Thank you!!!!
Like the strainer too.
😊 Love my Owala!
😊What great products! I see several I could use. I have an Owala water bottle and love it.
Found it! Soooo many things I didn’t realized I needed. LOL
😊 Such great ideas. I ordered the stitch gun because I always have buttons on my tops that gap. I have been looking for something like this!
🙂 I’m going to buy the alarm for my daughter who lives alone in Dallas.
Lots of good finds, Tania! Thanks!
I love these products! Thanks so much and have a Blessed day that the Lord has made!
😊Love this post!
Love the assortment of products in this particular blog today! I’ve had my Birdie personal alarm (in a cute lavender color) for a couple of years. It’s very loud and shrill and would call attention when needed, for sure! Bought a pretty turquoise one for my sister, too.
I think those make great gifts for anyone.
I love this post! So full of great ideas! Thanks Tania!
How have I never heard of this magical belt? Mine arrives tomorrow! 🙂
It takes a little trial and effort to get the hang of it.
🙂Boy do I need the invisible belt. I wish you had posted this earlier!🤣Thank you
🙂 I actually have that exact same set of slip shorts and love them. I’m now happy to wear dresses again!
🙂 Lots of great items and inexpensive too!! Thanks!!
I’m checking out the stitch gun! If my hem comes loose I usually use that strip of iron-on bonder to repair it. I learned that trick in jr high home ec!
: ) Love the car trash can.
Found it 🙂 The car trash cans would be a handy item!
FOUND IT🙂! I found several interesting items in this post, particularly the Kate Spade magnetic card case for your phone.
Wow Tania! Great ideas already in my Amazon cart! I got the Hollywood double sided tape a few years ago when you suggested it and it comes in so handy for dresses that go a little too low. Thank you for scouring the market and rounding these up!
I like using it to keep my bra from showing and my buttons from gapping open.
🙂 Learned about a lot of new products that I didn’t realize I needed!
Found it 🙂 The clip on strainer is my next purchase. It’s been in my cart for a couple of days now.
😊 You are one smart gurl!
😊 KP Bump Eraser is the best
☺️ Some really neat ideas! Thanks!
😊The belt is interesting, I’ve never seen one before. I need the tangle brush! So many helpful items shown!
found it!
Thank you so much for all these good ideas!!
I’ve never heard nor seen the invisible belt before! 😊
I use it allot.
🙂 Wow, so many good ideas! I use Mrs Meyers soaps hand and dish, now they will look like you said fancy. The small Kate Spade wallet and body polish also look interesting. TY!
I love my Turbie Twist! I’ve been using those for I don’t know how long. And yes, first time I used it, I noticed the weight difference from having it, vs. a towel wrapped on my hair. What a relief!
What a great and helpful post, thank you for sharing.
🙂 Found it! Speaking of laundry baskets. Long story short….I use an automatic open trash can with one side for recycle and one for trash or in my case one side for whites and other for colors. On laundry day I turn off the auto lid part and take it off (super easy) and inside each side has a handle and I lift them out and take straight to laundry-room.
😊I love purses. Nice styles!
😀wow, not sure what to order next! All great ideas!
😊 thank you for all of the ideas and products. Found some that I need to order
found it!
so many fun, useful items! That little car trash bag will come in handy, popped that in my cart. You’re lucky Joe will use a hamper – my husband just throws his stuff on the floor!
