HOW TO WEAR SOLID COLORS FOR MORE STYLES

I love buying solid colors so that I can mix and match to create more outfits. This monochromatic outfit is a perfect example of creating a column of color and adding accessories for interest. Creating a monochromatic outfit is CHIC and ELEGANT looking, and the red velvet pants add the luxurious touch that I was wanting.

Red is sure to draw everyone’s attention, but this tweed ruana wrap with an element of gold sparkle and shine is the star of this outfit. Dressing in a monochromatic look will have you looking long and lean. Velvet is elegant and luxurious looking, but it can be worn in a casual setting also. Pair these red velvet jeggings with an oversized sweater, a denim jacket, or a duster cardigan, and you’ve got a different look. I sized up in the jeggings to a size 1; however, I think my usual .5 would have fit me better.

I am wearing a mock-neck turtleneck in the color Stiletto. I was afraid that the material might show my bumps, so I sized up in this to a size 2.
