How many of you find yourself doing things over and over again but going nowhere? If you are super organized, use a planner like it was intended to be used, and are always on time, then…I’m not sure that we can be friends. Lol! Actually, I am always on time; also, that is one good habit that I have. If you are the organized planner type, you need to come and live with me for about a month. I promise you, one of us would change, but it probably wouldn’t be me. 😝

I actually have several openings here at the Stephens household. If you would like to put in your application, I have the following openings. Cook, cleaner, personal assistant, personal trainer, IT person, decorator, hand-me-give-me girl, and social media guru. Pay is negotiable, but one of the perks of the job will be getting to listen to my dog, Lucy bark non-stop, and listening to Joe talk about golf and airplanes.

I have been crushing on this caramel color all fall long! This is not normally a color that I gravitate toward, but I can’t get enough this year. When I find something that I like, then I tend it buy it in several colors. That has happened with this cap-sleeved v neck sweater. I already own this sweater in a couple of other colors that they came out with early this fall, and I recently bought a blue one as well as this ginger-colored one. I love the style of this sweater, and I think that it is very flattering. The slight cap sleeve looks great when you wear it alone, and since it is almost sleeveless, it goes great under a blazer or cardigan. I am wearing a large since the sweater is fitted, and I think that this size fits me nicely.

The jewelry that I am wearing is all from Kendra Scott. I’ll give you all of the links from head to toe.

These pants might have you thinking that you’ve seen this post before. Click here to see the post that I am talking about. Even though the outfit is similar, all of the pieces in today’s look are new, except for the ankle boots. These tailored plaid ankle pants are super cute and chic. I think they look professional and dressy, and I especially love the button detail on the bottom of the hem. You know how I love unique details!!! I am wearing a size 10 in these pants, and they seem to fit true to size to me.

These pants would look great with pumps, heels, or even flats. But, today, I wanted to show you how you could wear higher shaft boots with cropped pants. These Sam Edelman Suede Ankle boots are gorgeous in person, and they have a buckle on them that adds a unique detail to make them stand out. I love the caramel color of these boots, and I am constantly reaching for them to wear with my outfits. They run true to size, and I am wearing my usual size 9 in these. These are on clearance for under $80.00, the caramel is almost sold out, but the black has plenty of stock.

The long cardigan is an old one that I’ve had forever. This is a cashmere cardigan that I bought on clearance, so I didn’t pay very much for it. But, since it is a classic style and color, I can wear it for years and years to come. I found several that look almost identical, and one of them is also cashmere and under $80.00.

Did you see in yesterday’s post that I mentioned that Walmart was starting the 1st of three Black Friday Deals? The deals that launched yesterday are good through the 8th, and they are online only. I picked my top fashion picks, and I even threw in a couple of things for Joe.

I hope that you have enjoyed today’s post and that you will tell all of your friends about my blog.

  1. Looking good as always! Love the caramel colour with your skin tone.

    1. I love the caramel color also. But, I’ve never loved it before, so this is a first.

I just can not do that ankle length pant….takes me back to “high water” pants of my leggy youth !!!

    1. Lol! Sherry, I had the same issue when ankle pants first became a “thang.” I’ve always had long legs, so high-water pants were an issue in my youth too.

  3. Love, love you !! You look fabulous in that outfit!!

Thanks also for the laugh about the “job perks” Ha ha!! I have a Maltese dog that barks for no reason during the day!! And my husband working from home!! It’s a zoo here sometimes!!

We love and appreciate you-your style and humor help me get thru the day!! I look forward to reading your post every day!!❤️❤️

    1. I’ve had some people here updating my bathrooms, and my dog will bark crazily every time they go in or out the door. I am slowly going insane!

  4. Hi Tania, I’m a newer follower and I really love your post. Its the first thing I do every day…coffee with Tania! I have bought several of your recommendations and love them all! I know what you do takes a lot of time and I thank you for it!! Have a wonderful week!

    1. Thanks, so much, Janet!!! I welcome you and I hope that you feel welcomed here.

  5. I recently discovered your site and I love it. Thank you for helping us “style challenged” people. I really like your outfits and the links.

    1. We all have our challenges, Debbie. Mine is with shoes. I have the hardest time picking out shoes to wear with an outfit.

  6. The caramel color looks beautiful on you!

  7. Tania, you just make that job sound soo appealing. LOL I could help with cooking and organizing for sure.

    1. If you only lived closer….

Thank you for your response, Tania. I have followed your blog religiously for years and you are one of only a few bloggers that I follow because you are a true style/fashion star for “mature” ladies. (I’m 67, but follow you despite your youth 😊.) I will continue to follow you, not only because you are so talented and joyful, but because you are, indeed, the real deal, which makes me even happier than your blog.

      1. My youth!!! LOL! That has me rolling on the floor laughing. I never thought that I would be called a “youth” in my 60s. Hahaha! I appreciate you following, and grace when I fall short.

  8. Hi Tania, love your outfit today, just wish I could pull off that color. My skin tone has too much red to look good in the caramel. I’m up way too early, had a mishap and torn the skin on my arm late yesterday. Need to get to the doctor early for a tetanus shot and probable stitches. Ugh! BTW, I’d be your organizer and personal assistant, if you’d arrange how we can do this East coast to West coast! Lol! I’m accident prone,
so don’t forget workers comp! Love your blog, Instagram and pin you always in Pinterest! Keep making me laugh and continue helping me with my wardrobe and style! You are so appreciated.

    1. Rhonda, you need to let me know how your arm is doing. I would love to hire you, but I’m afraid that I don’t have workman’s comp insurance. Lol!

  9. Hi – I love your blog but if you ask for comments, like yesterday, I think you need to acknowledge them when people take the time to reply – just in the same way you wanted to be acknowledged! You don’t need to necessarily answer each comment, although that would be good if you want to actually talk to us lol, but a “Hi Gurls, thank you so much for your posts, I read each one and it means a lot to me” in your next days blog would be appreciated. If our comments mean so much to you, as you said, surely they deserve an acknowledgement as well? especially when you have asked people to take the time to post. Still loving your clothes!, Thanks Jen

    1. Well, Jen, it is funny that you should post this. Last night I answered a lot of comments, but I ended up going to bed before I answered them all. I actually got up early so that I could respond to everyone that I missed the day before.

    2. The ones that bug me are when a blogger ends her post with a question, say, “do you like to shop at Loft” (maybe something from Loft was featured that day), and lots of people will comment, “yes, I love Loft,” “no, their clothes don’t fit my lifestyle,” etc., and the blogger responds to not a single comment. DON’T ASK A QUESTION IF YOU’RE NOT GOING TO ENGAGE WHEN PEOPLE ANSWER!

Tania, I think you do a good job of responding. You do not need to respond to every comment . . . don’t put that pressure on yourself.

      1. I do try to answer as many as possible, but there are days when it is just not possible.

  10. I’ll take the job of personal assistant and decorator as I excel at both of those. The commute to Virginia would be a long way from Ohio. Lol!
I love the Carmel sweater too!

    1. Well, since the commute would be too long, how about you just move here instead? Lol!
