HOW TO STYLE COLORED JEANS
Good morning, good morning!!! I am all perky and ready to head out the door today. It has rained for days, and I haven’t been able to have a photo session to take photos of my clothing. My photographer is leaving town for two weeks on Sunday, so today I am trying to get some outfits together, and I am crossing my fingers that the rain will let up long enough for us to get at least five outfits photographed. If it rains, then you might see me with streaked makeup and stringy hair. Lol!
In case you were wondering, my daughter made it safely to Alaska. She and Andy are gathering supplies, and then they will be getting on the boat to head out to a different location where they will spend the month getting the nets in good condition before the season opens. I talked to her yesterday, and she was telling me how pretty and warm it was there. Since it usually rains in Juneau all the time, they notice when the weather is beautiful. So, because she is going to be gone for three months, I inherited her cat, Thomas. He is slowly getting used to me, but it is going to take some time before he warms up to Joe and Lucy Lu. Here is a horrible picture of me, but I wanted to show you my grandcat. Lol!
How simple is this outfit? It is a pair of jeans and a t-shirt, which is perfect for a Saturday. The outfit is not boring though, because my jeans and my t-shirt are not boring. You are not boring, so why would you want your clothing to be boring??? I like the style of this tee. It has a deep scoop neck, (flattering and elongating for your neck) a beautiful snow leopard print, and a shirttail hem. If you notice in one of the pictures above, I tied a knot in the front of the top and then tucked the knot underneath so it couldn’t be seen. That gives the top a different look and some versatility. The top is 100% cotton, and I am wearing a large. The top is on sale at BOGO free. You can’t beat that, so here is the link.
Are you sick of seeing me wear the Dallin earrings? I do this sometimes; I get something that I like, and I want to wear it all the time. Anyone else like that? I love wearing gold jewelry, and I like big hoops, so the Dallin is a natural choice for me. I also have been wearing the Stormy monogrammed necklace a lot. I like it for the style, but also because of the length. This necklace is perfect for deep v’s or scoop necklines. Finally, I added a mixture of bracelets from the Rachel and Stacia sets. I promise that one day they will be back in stock. Lol!
These ballet flats from Michael Kors are another item that I am wearing a lot. I love how they fit, they are so comfortable, and I love the style. Plus, they are easy to slip on and head out the door, so that makes these a winner in my book.

Thomas is beautiful. You are too!!! That’s for the update on your daughter as well. I shall live vicariously through her travels and your travels….LOL
Cute casual outfit which is what we live in mostly! Pretty kitty with blue eyes! I’m a cat moma so I perk up at the mention of kitties! I’m glad your daughter is back in her beloved Alaska! We raise them to be independent and that’s how they should be!
You wear some super cool earrings. I am one of the few who has not got pierced ears. As a child i got scared by a girl who had a stud fast in her ear and since then i have never been gutsy enough to get any piercings lol
It’s a good picture of you and a beautiful cat!! Love the shirt too.
Love the cute jeans and color! I like the top w the knot in it! Good idea! What a pretty cat. Hope yall get along and he doesn’t hurt Lucy!
Pretty cat! And I think it’s a good picture of you. I like the leopard print tee and you can wear that print with just about anything solid. Perfect outfit for running around on Saturday which is what I’m going to be doing. Thanks for some inspiration on that front today. Glad Ashleigh made it safely to Alaska.
Makes a great outfit! The top is very becoming around your face.
Thanks, Rhonda! I appreciate your saying that.
Oh is Thomas a Mainecoon? He is gorgeous! Happy weekend!
I am not sure what Thomas is because he was a rescue. He was found in Alaska living under a trailer when he was only a few months old, and Ashleigh got him at he shelter.
