Does anyone know how much a farm in Georgia costs? I’m not sure myself, but it must be priceless. How many of you read my blog post yesterday? I asked if you still sent texts of sweet nothings to your spouse. Or, even better, does your spouse still send those sweet nothings to you? Joe and I have a silly saying that we say to each other, and it involves a farm in Georgia.

I’m not sure where Joe came up with this saying, but it is, “I love you more than a farm in Georgia.” That is his equivalent to me, saying, “I love you the whole sky full.” Aren’t we creative? Lol! So, after I wrote yesterday’s post, I decided to send him a message today while he was out working. I sent him the “more than a farm in Georgia” message, and then waited for his response. And, then I waited some more, and some more, and some more. He finally came home around 3:00 pm, and I asked him if he saw my message. His response…” yeah, I saw it.” ???? Let’s just say that my SKY is a lot smaller today with lots of clouds and a chance of rain. Haha!

I love a black t-shirt, especially in the summer. A black tee and jeans are so cute when worn together, and I highly encourage you to try that look sometime. Everyone should own a black, white, gray, and a navy t-shirt, and also a couple of brightly colored ones. I love a v-neckline the best for me, but I also have tees in crewneck and scoop neck. A tee is so versatile since you can wear it alone, under a jacket or cardigan, under a vest, and even as pajamas if you are like me. The v-neck black tee that I have on is from Target, and they are on sale for 2 for 14.00.

The key to making a t-shirt look glamorous is in the accessories. This Beckett necklace and the matching Beckett link bracelet are so elegant looking. I just found out a neat trick yesterday with this set. You can link the two pieces together, and that makes a longer necklace. Woohoo! I’ll be wearing it like on the blog soon. My earrings are a pair that I bought from the Lilly Pulitzer sale, but they are no longer on their website. BUT, I scoured the internet, and I did find them HERE.

These pants are fabulous!!! I wore these camel colored utility pants to my hairdressers on Tuesday, and as soon as I walked in the door, she wanted to know where I got them. I’ll be honest when I saw the word “utility,” I hesitated about ordering these. BUT, I am so glad that I did because they look amazing on you. Plus, they fit really well also and are very comfortable. I am wearing my usual Chico’s size in pants, which is a .5, and the fit is perfect. These will be great as we transition into fall so that you will get lots of wear from them. They also come in sage green, which I am thinking about ordering, especially since they are on sale.

Another way that you can make your t-shirt and pants look glamorous is by adding some cool and stylish shades. The ones that I am wearing are the Lucia by Lilly Pulitzer, and I love this pair. The thin gold bar over the lens gives this pair an extra air of sophistication and flair. These make quite a statement, and you will love these.

These shoes by Marc Fisher are old! I bought these when I first started blogging, and I still love them. However, that means that they are no longer available online. What I like about them is the neutral color that makes your legs look 8ft long. So, I went searching, and I found a few that I thought that you might like.
