How To Exude Confidence With Casual Clothing From Land’s End
When it comes to looking and feeling good in your clothing, confidence is the best thing you can put on. That said, it isn’t as easy as it sounds. Confidence comes from within, but there are a few tips that can help. Today, I’m going to show you how you can exude confidence with casual clothing from Lands’ End.
Simple Tips For Looking Confident In Your Clothing:
- Know your body shape and choose clothes that bring out your best features. For example, I am a ruler, so I don’t have curves. I try to find clothing that will give me the look of curves, such as cardigans, jackets, certain colors, and prints, or loose tops that don’t cling to me.
- Right Fit: Clothes should fit right, never too tight or loose. If your clothing fits you well, this can make a huge difference. High-quality basics like a well-fitted pair of jeans, a classic blazer, and versatile tops can all help you feel more confident.
- Flattering Colors: Wear colors that are good for your skin tone. This will bring light to your face and make you glow. Even if you are not confident, you’ll look like you are!
- Accessorize: Add accessories to inject personality into your outfit. A statement necklace, earrings, and a bracelet or watch can easily change your look.
- Comfortable: If you are comfortable, then you are confident. Always pick clothes you feel comfortable with. Your body language will reflect this.
- Good Posture: Standing tall with a straight back can do a lot for any outfit and can instantly boost your confidence. I have found myself struggling with this more as I get older.
- Personal Style: Don’t be afraid to let the real you show through what you’re wearing. Wear the clothing that you love, and you’ll feel better about yourself. Love Boho – wear it. Western is your jam – wear it. Prefer Preppy – wear it. You be YOU!
- Stay Groomed: Take care of your hair, nails, and skin; they enhance your overall appearance and boost confidence. I rarely leave the house without lipstick and my hair styled. This makes me feel more confident.
- Smile: A smile and a positive attitude can be one of your greatest accessories. They make any outfit look better, and you feel better about yourself in general.
Casual Clothing From Land’s End – Jeans and a Shirt
This outfit is a great example of casual clothing from Lands’ End. The Eyelet Ruffle Sleeve Blouse and Mid Rise Boyfriend Jeans are perfect for a casual outing. I would wear this out to lunch, shopping, running errands, going to a friend’s house, etc.
The Eyelet Ruffle Sleeve Blouse is not lined, and I have a nude-colored bodysuit underneath. If anyone sees through the holes, they aren’t getting a “show.” The blouse has short sleeves with an adorable ruffled hem. The top is made boxy, so it doesn’t show lumps or bumps. You can tuck the top in or leave it out.
The Mid Rise Boyfriend Jeans are a relaxed fit. I forgot to order a size down, which is something I always do when “boyfriend” is in the description. I prefer my jeans to have a slimmer silhouette, so I needed a size 6. Choose your normal size for a relaxed fit, or size down for a more fitted look.
Casual Clothing From Land’s End – Shorts and a Breton Striped Tee
Here is more casual clothing from Lands’ End. It is slightly more casual than the first outfit, so I would wear this to the lake, to a cookout, or lounging around the house.
The Breton striped cotton tee is a classic that you can dress up or down. It looks great with these shorts but would look elevated with jeans and a blazer. You could also wear the tee with dress pants, add some statement jewelry, and a blazer for a dressy outfit.
These Mid Rise 7″ Jean Shorts are a great length, not too long or too short. The Indigo Wake Blue is a great medium wash, but the shorts are available in a light wash also if that is more your style. These were also a little big on me, so I would need a size 6. I’m not sure if this is how all Lands’ End pants fit or if these run a little big. If you are between sizes, I would suggest sizing down.
I accessorized this casual outfit with a Tory Burch Nylon Tote. The black tote tied the stripes in the tee and my black prescription sunglasses together and made the outfit look cohesive. I didn’t add black shoes but opted for the NAOT Sandals instead. I prefer a neutral shoe since they make your legs look longer. My other accessories were the Colette Large Hoop Earrings and my 14kt Gold Cross Necklace with Diamonds that I wear daily.
Casual Clothing From Land’s End – Dress and Sneakers
How cute is this sleeveless dress? This gives off the vibes that I’m ready for a pickleball game or headed to the mall to do some damage. Lol! Guess which one I am more likely to be doing.
The description calls this a swim cover-up, which I suppose you could do. But I think it is way too pretty just to wear over a swimsuit. I love the navy with white trim; it looks classy and elegant. The dress is slightly too big on me, especially under the arms. I think I’m beginning to see a trend with my casual clothing from Lands’ End picks.
I added my favorite solid white Vionic Sneakers to the look. These are so comfortable, and I love the pull-on, no-tie style. They fit snugly, so I don’t worry about them as I walk about.
